LE can pull you over & harass you. But they cannot arrest you for simply driving around. Even when the loitering law was still around the police could not arrest you for simply driving in the area. Did you get pulled over by NCPD. ? NCPD has been much more aggressive over the years. I am not surprised to hear of increased police presence. One good way to be less obvious when driving in NC is head north on Roosevelt and get on the I5 north at Plaza blvd. Then exit I5 at at the Main & Division exit. Personally I do not spend much time cruising in NC since girls are to expensive.

Often times vice will have officer dressed as a homeless person in case there is any problems. Often times vices will be parked in a unmarked car nearby with tinted windows. In most cases you will not see any tow trucks or police in the vicinity. If you do see a police van driving in the vicinity then there is good probability of a sting. If a SW directs you to drive back. Do not do so. The police has used this as a basis for furtherance of prostitution.

So after years of reading monger exploits, I finally got brave enough to dive in.
I had a dream about being restless and bored early morning around 1 AM on a Monday night. Having seen some friendly looking females strolling around previously, I decided to go take a peek.
Despite the time, there were lots of SWs stirring in the usual areas. However, the one that caught my eye was a tall blonde closer to NCB than Roosevelt. She asked about dating when I stopped at the red light. We agreed on $1. 2 (I'm sure some will complain) but I wasn't planning on any action and so I just thought why not?
Some may know her, name was Skylar. Action was all covered and 7 on a 10 scale but I got plenty of adrenaline from the whole operation. Especially when a Panda flipped his lights about two block from the pickup. Luckily, he had other things to do elsewhere.
So yea, I see the attraction to this action now!

Cruised yesterday around 4:30 pm. Saw about 4 BSW's and few low grade WSW's on Roosevelt. Also saw 2 BSW's on Dalbergia as well. When I made my first pass I saw a cop parked with his red & blue lights on at Dal & Vesta. He was just parked there. Not sure, but I believe the cops patrol on Dalbergia during day sometimes.

I counted four out at once: 1 parked at the gas station, one hiding parallel (off street) to a car on Woden St. And two roamers in attack mode. I have to give them credit for rapidly doing their thing and getting their lights off as quickly as possible so things looked normal.
The two roamers would park side-by-side on the NW end of Dal with their lights off waiting for someone to do the wrong thing. Now that the hotel is closed there are less SWs down that way, so its easy for them to lurk there. Occasionally they would do a quick loop on the highway to make it look like they were leaving, but they would be back minutes later. They didn't ignore Roosevelt but it wasn't the main target.
I saw them hit two mongers around midnight. By 1 AM they had successfully chased everyone away.
Oh and someone broke a water main on Main St. They was kinda fun.

I don't partake in the street meat on the Blade, but I've worked nearby for years and often get a glimpse of the action. The jurisdiction changes from SD to NC at Division, so from my perspective the 5 overpass is like a no mans land, and I've wondered why girls never work under there. The police make a show of force once or twice a week I believe. I cannot believe they are not targeting the pimps. The are very blatant in NC. Sometimes I will get on freeway and get off on Main if there is LE on Roosevelt. This makes it less obvious that you are circling. I amazed that LE & especially vice have not cracked down on the pimps. The pimps are really obvious & cause a lot of problems. It is also irritating the way guys block traffic. LE needs to start giving out tickets to guys that stop in the middle of the street and obstruct traffic. Last night I waited for almost 5 minutes for some guy to talk to a girl at the stop sign on Dalbergia. Behavior like this only causes problems and riles up the locals.

The San Diego Union-Tribune and other SD media sources are reporting that there are some MANDATORY CHANGES coming to the "Main St. Motel" including terminating the lease of the current managers, requiring guests check in at the front office, and keys that note the arrival and departure of room renters. So, what will this do to the SW's who intend to "occupy" and "work out of" this location? I am surprised that cameras are not being installed at every room door, and license plate numbers are having to be recorded to park a car in their lot-with a photocopy of the DL (as Motel 6 likes to do! It will be interesting to see what "impact" these changes have.
