I was down in NC by Main & Division. So made a pass around 10:30 am and 4:30 pm on my down to Tijuana. Also made a pass on my way home as. Did not see any SW's or LE at all. Not really surprised with the recent crackdown. Although I was a bit surprised that there was no cops around.

His main issue was he was chasing down jbait. And also flashing green notes to get random women into his car.
But news articles say that the first complaint and what started the investigation and LEO survaillance on him was after the dude first asked an older woman if she wanted a ride.
This older woman complained to LEO and that got the ball rolling and the case opened.
I know some have gotten reports of non-pros they come across and play along. Or sometimes there's a new face on the strolls you try to scoop. Or sometimes the sws and civvys can get mixed up.
Just something to consider. Thoughts?
About a year ago I was in the Main & Div area and saw this one girl that looked like a SW. I stopped and offered the girl a ride and she called the cops and they stopped and harassed me. I am however fairly careful about stopping for potential SW's. Typically it's best to discreetly pull over. If I am in a area where SW's work and I see a girl that might be working I will sometimes get out and simply say hello to her to see if she might be working. If she is she will clue you in. In some areas like 30th & ECB there is a lot more civilians especially on the weekends. Now it perfectly legal to offer a girl ride so long as she is over 18. Stopping for minors is whole other story however.

People that target kids should be reported to the police. As for potential SW's there is a very fine line. If they are not in the vicinity of area where SW's frequent it is not a good idea to try and make contact with them. Typically the most I will do is to walk up to them and say hello. If I get a vibe from them I will offer them a ride.

SD is fairly dead these days. There is a few SW's by Main & Division st in National city sporadically. National city police crack down fairly hard so use due caution. Your best bet is visit TJ.

My guess is that pulling over twice is probably okay so long as you are not aggressive about it. Another good tactic is to get out and say hello to them. If the girl is working she will clue you in. Generally the girl will ask you what's up if they are working. I will typically respond by saying "just seeing what's out here". If they respond in a positive manner I will ask them if they want to go. The thing about this tactic is that you are not implicating yourself. I would not use the term "date" however. The word date has been used as the basis for a "intent to solicit prostitution" in sting operations.

Your best bet is head to Tijuana in the evenings. Some of US girls in Tijuana are better than most of the WSW's in Socal these days. The problem is that takes quite a bit of time to locate them. In the SD areas Main & Division and ECB and 50th is the only areas worth cruising. You might try El Cajon city, but have not cruised there in quite awhile. Your best bet however is to cruise Main & Division and head to Tijuana if you cannot find any SW's.

Main st in El Cajon city probably is the deadest of all the tracks in SD county currently. Of course that's not saying much. If you live in ECC you are much better off heading to Tijuana. The action is far more consistent in Tijuana.

If you offer a ride, then the worst is a ticket for being in a known area for prostitutes. A decent lawyer can probably plead down or get thrown. Or, they hassle the living hell out of you and you lose time.

That's not necessarily true. There some SW's that will want to make a deal before getting or know how much money you have. It is not a good idea if you have never seen the girl working or walking around before. Legally the police cannot give you a ticket for either of those. There is no law for offering a girl a ride regardless if she is a working girl or not. There is case law to support this.
