Maybe its just me but IMHO $$ is more in line with CL and NOT a SW no matter who she is or what great reviews she has. You're paying CL prices but still taking the risk and going thru the hassles inherent with picking up a SW. Guys if we start giving in to these ridiculous prices for one person then it won't be long before the rest follow suit.

Ok, well it was pretty dead until about 1:15pm to 1:30pm. Saw 2 BSW's. First one in the dress had a pretty cute face, but her body was just a little too big for my taste. Saw her near Jack in the Box. She walked behind that Mexican food place and got into a Minivan before I could talk to her. By the way, anyone ever eat at that Mexican restaurant?
Anyway, the other one was REALLY cute, with a great ass in those cute shorts. She was wearing glasses (not sunglasses, but eye glasses) which is a good place to shoot your load. I saw her down by DelTaco/Carls Jr. Home Depot area. Tried to get her, but a guy in a black Tahoe snatched her up before I could. Lucky bastard.
Both of these girls were out around 1:30p today. That was it, went home empty handed.

You are right Ricman, it seemed to get started between 1 & 1:30. I went from 405 to 22. By the time I got to JiB there were 3 more BSW heading south and one of them looked damn good. Had an appointment so I kept moving but I hope this is an indication that things are indeed picking up!

I didn't see Rosita on the Blvd this afternoon. Had I seen her I would have jumped out of the car. Man, is she hot!

Harbor 3:15-4pm
Headed south from the 5 to 405. 3 BSW's between Washington and Hazard. 2 were pretty hot but wanted to scope out the rest of the track first. Was hoping to try Jennifer or Jessica on the south end but they were not there. Made a u-turn near the 405 and headed back north. 2 LSW's working east side of Harbor from Hazard-McFadden. Black top/shorts talked to several mongers but passed on all(too expensive?). Her friend in pink to would just hang back and didn't talk to mongers. On west side of the street was a LSW Destiny black top jean shorts pudgy tummy and her friend (thick WSW from Fairwinds post below). Destiny wanted $ so no deal.
Last night 7-9pm only saw 2 SW's on Harbor and both were between Washington/McFadden.

I took a ride down Harbor around 2:30 p.m to 3:30 p.m. there was alot of activity between Washington and First st. I saw everyone lurking fan mentioned and saw the big girl in Fairwinds picture, she was blowing bubbles and waving to cars. Also saw an ok looking SW tall in a short skirt and white top she had her hair pulled back in a redish color pony tail I couldn't tell what ethnicity she was.I also saw 2 Hispanic girls they looked really good one was in a blue top and black shorts with heels and the other had black slacks and sleeveless shirt. I was not positive they were working they did get picked up in a pick up truck about a block N. of Hazzard, and I never saw them again. All in all I counted about 10 girls working between Westminister and First St.
I also took a look down at the south end around the 405 I was looking for Rosita but nothing was going on down there . Does anyone who may have contacted her on CL know what Motel she works out of?

It's interesting how timing plays a part in our game. I was out on Harbor around 11:30 and, except for the WSW member of the "Dangerous Duo" and another BSW I had not seen before around the Hazard intersection, I didn't see a thing.

You're right about LBB and LA having better and more numerous talent than Harbor. Harbor has always been hit or miss. But there's one thing about Harbor: Every so often a real hottie appears and stays for a while--an honest 10. But you really have to work at it to find one on this blvd.

Well, maybe we scared her off, Ricman. I didn't see either of the Dangerous Duo today. Trouble is I didn't see anything else either. Usually Fridays rock a little on Harbor. But I made 3 tours today between 405 and Katella, 10:30AM to 12:30P, 3PM to 4PM and a one way run from Trask to 405 at 9 tonight. I saw one thick LSW tonight walking north near the Fifth Street intersection. She was wearing a revealing dress that showed a lot of thick leg and cleavage. Cruised Harbor from 12:30 am-2 am from 405 to Disneyland. Still pretty much dead. Saw one attractive BSW who set off my spidey senses and another BSW who wasnt very attractive at all. Both were in the area between 1'st and Westminster, closer to 1'st.
I cruised Harbor about 5PM and picked up the only SW I saw. She was working
near Hazard. She was a WSW and her name was Kimberly and she was older and tough looking. Having agreed on a price for a HJ she then told me she only did CHJs. I said I wasn't looking for that so she got out of the car.

Cruised up Harbor from MacArther north to Chapman and back between 11AM and noon today. There was moderate action in the area between Hazard and McFadden---all of it on the west side. I saw 3 WSWs. One was a short redhead with messy hair standing with her pimp near the bus stop at Hazard, an older and not so pretty WSW walking up north from McFadden and a 3rd WSW between First and Fifth who was real hot. She was slender, goodlooking and was wearing a short denim skirt and white top---one of the better looking SWs I've seen on Harbor in a long time. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get pics of any of these. But I did have luck with the only BSW I saw. I followed her all the way from McFadden up to Hazard, dropping into strip malls to position myself for some shots. She was attractive and neatly dressed as you can see.
I took a little trip down beach at about 330pm after I got out of work to see if anything was poppin. Drove from the 5 to 22 and then turned around to go home when I saw a BSW at about ball or maybe one street up. I pulled up to her asked her if she needed a ride she said yes. Asked if I was a cop I said no she grabbed my stuff, as I grabbed here funbags, which were ample. She said. 40 but all I had was. 30 we agreed she gave a great cbj. Well....How about this SW sitting at the bus stop Herb Surfs? For a change I took a swing up Beach and saw her at the Ball St. intersection. Ordinarily, because of her age and looks, I wouldn't have bothered to take a pic. But, other than the 2nd skanky WSW in the same area, I couldn't find any other action to shoot. I think she was a street person trying to hustle up a few extra bucks. The time was around 1PM and because there wasn't any action to speak of I went back to Harbor.

Maybe the LSW wanted one more date before heading to confession at that new church right there between 1st and McFadden.
Was at a meeting in Costa Mesa so I cruised Harbor briefly. My radiator is leaking so can't cruise too much. Saw this one older blond on Harbor near Jack in the Box.
Between 12 noon and 1PM I drove up and down lower Harbor. My expectations were high: hot weather, nearing Summer, no LE presence and lots of traffic. I also had my new Panasonic Lumix with zoom lense (to 420mm) ready to scope out and photograph a couple of hot SWs.
There was nothing. NOTHING! At least that I could see. Usually, when it's really bad, you still are able to see at least one skanky or fat SW somewhere. Nope. Well I hope someone else had a little better luck than me.

Holly shit guys, I’m one lucky dude. Today (Tuesday 4-8-07) I was doing the 1:30pm Harbor cruze, and saw a HOT HOT HOT Red head. She was about 5ft 7in, 125 lbs, HUGE rack, perfect body, wearing those thick white F-me tennis shoes, black mini skirt, and a cut off top. Boner city baby!!! She was sitting at that Bus Stop in front of the AAA. I flipped a U-turn, came back to her, and I pulled into that parking structure next to the AAA building. But for some reason I felt a little weird about her. I read a post about 2 years ago that girls that don’t actually walk up and down the street, and just sit at bus stops, are usually LE, but I HAD TO see this girl.
So she comes up to the car and we start talking. Says her name is Daisy, and that she "just got here from Vegas." I asked her if she wanted and ride and she said "I dont want a ride, unless you want me to ride you at my hotel." I started laughing, and I said, "Oh Really, that sounds like fun, where are you staying?" She said, "that little bit of information will cost you $75."
Guys, that’s where I KNEW she was a cop. She went right in for the kill. A girl that looks like Lindsay Lohan (no joke) and that says she is from Vegas "visiting for the day" and quotes $75 for FS, HAS TO BE a cop.
Then I say to her, "oh, I’m sorry, I didn’t know that I would have to pay for your information, I just thought you needed a ride." Then she said, "well do you have $75 or not?" And I said, "maybe next time baby." I couldn’t believe that I said that, but I just had a feeling.
So as I pull out of the parking lot, and BOOM, 2 motorcycle cops appear out of no where, and their lights go on. They pull me over, and ask me for my drivers license and registration. Then one cop asks me, "do you know why we pulled you over?" I said, "no why?" He said "for solicitation of a prostitute." Then he says, "you are getting let off with a warning today. If we see you in this area again, we will have to impound your vehicle." I didn’t say a word, and just drove off. Those Cops kind of scared me, but Ill be back tomorrow. I know they wont be there again.
So moral of the story boys, dont pick up SW's that are sitting at bus stops, and listen closely to their stories too.
From your post I believe the cops let you go because you did not actually solicit the prostitute. Since you did not accept her offer the act of soclitation did not occur. The good thing is that this is a indication that the cops are not using the criminal intent to solicit law.
But it just goes to show that it's always best to let the SW get in the car before discussing business.
Hey Ricman. Good that you didn't get busted. But that was a close one. You're right about those "SWs" at the bus stops. High risk. One of my rules is to always make sure the SW is moving. If she's a decoy, she doesn't want to get too far separated from her LE support (van, bikes, whatever). Another thing which makes me suspicious is when they say they have a room. I like SWs who move, get in the car quickly and go where you suggest.

So as I pull out of the parking lot, and BOOM, 2 motorcycle cops appear out of no where, and their lights go on. They pull me over, and ask me for my drivers license and registration. Then one cop asks me, "do you know why we pulled you over?" I said, "no why?" He said "for solicitation of a prostitute." Then he says, "you are getting let off with a warning today. If we see you in this area again, we will have to impound your vehicle." I didn’t say a word, and just drove off. Those Cops kind of scared me, but Ill be back tomorrow. I know they wont be there again.
So moral of the story boys, dont pick up SW's that are sitting at bus stops, and listen closely to their stories too.
Rickman, a couple years ago I was in San Francisco and the a very similar thing happened to me. I was at a stop sign in a know SWS area and a nice looking girl was on the corner, she gave me the look and I pulled up and over, she walks up and opens my car door, passenger side. I thought this is wierd and my LE radar went off. I ask if she needed a ride somewhere. She says ya, would you like me to ride you. I say ah, no, but I would be happy to transport her somewhere if she needed help. She says I could help her by giving her 50 bucks and she would make it worth my while. I said would you please close my car door. She wouldn't, keep asking questions about sex and money. I know this is big trouble so I ask one more time, close my door lady, I am not looking for sex and I don't have any money, I just thought you needed help, now close my damn door. She wouldn't so I hit the gas and drove off with my door open, had to really gas it to get it to shut. Then in the rear view I see headlights flying toward me, lights go off. I pull over, they took me back to a truck in a parking lot near the girl and processed me along with dozens of other guys. I was pissed. I decided to fight the charges. Went to court and the judge got pissed at the cops for arresting me when the tape clearly showed I was not soliciting. He throw out the case and I walked. Luckly this was in SF and I lived in Vegas, so I didn't have to worry about anybody finding out. I have learned to be real carefull and unless I know for a fact the girl is working I pass, no matter how hot she is. Let this be a good lesson for you. Occasionally the cops will jump the gun and arrest you without cause. The New Orleans police have been known to arrest people even though the act of solicitation did not occur.

Well....How about this SW sitting at the bus stop Herb Surfs? For a change I took a swing up Beach and saw her at the Ball St. intersection. Ordinarily, because of her age and looks, I wouldn't have bothered to take a pic. But, other than the 2nd skanky WSW in the same area, I couldn't find any other action to shoot. I think she was a street person trying to hustle up a few extra bucks. The time was around 1PM and because there wasn't any action to speak of I went back to Harbor.

This was back when mobile phones were larger, I had a large transportable unit in my car. The girl used it to call her friend where we were headed.
We had to wait in the parking lot until her friend left the apartment. In the meantime, this crazy chick hikes up her skirt, squats next to the car and took a whiz. Three cop cars pulled up seconds later.
The cops pulled me out, put cuffs on me, and started searching the car. One cop told me "if we find drugs on your girl you are going to jail" and shoved me in the back of a cruiser.
They didn't find anything, and without a single word about 45 minutes later they rudely pulled me out of the cruiser, took the cuffs off and shoved me onto the hood of my car. I was told "Don't ever be picking up a girl in this town again or you will be doing hard time!" and drove away. My erstwhile date was heading into the apartment complex with her beer (which, BTW, was NOT open) and the cops roared off.
Seems they followed me all the way into the valley. Except for the one cruiser, none of the cars looked even like your usual UC unit.
The back seat has been removed, everything in the car was just piled on the floor, and my mobile phone had it's handset cord cut into about 10 pieces. I replaced the cord and moved on, but I was scared shitless for a while.
Didn't stop me from mongering, but it did make me a hell of a lot more aware of what was going on around me.

JoeI agree with you Joe. I actually had an experiance where some nut who was jacking off next to my car when I pick up a SW and went to a parking lot near Harbor. The thing about AMP is that if LE catches you in them you are not in public. You are in a closed room. And if I understand the law right you have to be in public or in public view to get in trouble. And if you stick to your guns and tell them that you only paid for a massage there is no way to prove you did anything else. I have talked to friends who have been inside AMP when LE came and all that happen was they took their name. They threaten to call home but it never happen.
Bottom line with SW's. Like AMP I don't talk about money or services right away. If a SW doesnt get in my car or tries to talk money while outside my car I'm gone. I little prevention like watching her a while goes a long way.

Yeah, but the cops *are* the ones making the proposition, which they're not supposed to do if memory serves. That qualifies as entrapment, because you can't prove you were going to offer money at that point. You probably played it just slightly naive enough to get away with it.

Hey Ricman, I know what that's like. I had a temporary lapse of judgement that damn near got me arrested. Four years ago, I picked up a hot blonde girl on Harbor and Chapman. She was short and petite with huge tits. So I'm so excited, I decided to skip my usual routine of driving a decent distance away from Harbor to do the deed, and pulled into the parking lot behind one of those big hotels on that corner. We parked between a van and a sedan with really really dark tinted windows. She went down on me, and right when I finished and she lifted her head up, we hear a door from the sedan slam shut and see a cop (who was hiding in the back seat of his car)march over to the passenger side. The girl yells to me "Go! Let's go get outta here!!!" So like an idiot, I started the car up but the cop screams "shut that car off! NOW!!" I sheepishly turn the car off, and he opens the passenger door and pulls the girl out. As soon as he sees her, he kinda softens up and says "hey ******, what are you doing here? I told you to get off these streets." He takes her and my drivers license back to his car. After a few minutes, he comes back, throws the license to me and says, "if I ever see you here again, you're going to jail." I started the car up and quickly got out of there.
A week later, I run into the girl again. She told me that after I drove away, he let her go. The reason he and another cop were hiding out in the parking lot was because they were responding to complaints about drug deals being made there. She said she knew the cop because he had stopped her twice before, but didn't arrest her; he would just yell at her and then let her leave. I wonder if maybe he was one of her regulars, but I didn't bother to ask her. So that was the closest I've ever been to getting arrested. Unbelievable how I got a BJ from a SW while a cop was sitting right next to us and watching the whole time. I guess the John Gods were looking out for me that night!

If you suspect a SW is a decoy tell her to get in the car first and discuss things after you have driven off and done the check.
If you suspect the cops are conducting a sting hang out in the area and watch. Sometimes if I am still uncertain I will get out and walk around. The advantage here is that you can observe things from all angles and see if a cop is hiding. Even if you don't see any cops around don't let this fool you. The stings have become more sophisticated and the cops hide very carefully. Quite often you will not see any cops in back of the building. A few years the back the cops were conducting a sting and there was no cop cars around. The decoys would tell the poor guy to meet him in back and the cop would hide in a unmarked vehicle.
Also don't let a dry spell fool you into thinking that the heat is off..Quite often the cops will conduct stings when there little or no action.

5] If it's late at night and you're stopping for pedestrians ... just the time and desertedness makes you look guilty
When I cruised (converted to AMPs long ago) my typical question when first stopping for a hooker was "Looking for some company?". It conveyed that I was offering more than taxi cab services but, if she is microphoned up, didn't say anything incriminating (IMHO).
And of course, if she answers a question with a question ...RUN !
The couple of times I suspected I was talking to a decoy I just uttered "I'm sorry, I thought you were someone that I knew. So sorry that I bothered you" and left.
With that on the LE microphone what else could she say then "Get outta here!"

I agree with you 100% Longrod. There are great risks to SW mongering and bad consequences. But like an alcoholic or drug addict I can't let go of it. In alternative mongering, for me anyways, there isn't the thrill of the chase, the flash of thigh on a dimly lit street corner, the show of cleavage as an SW leans into the passenger window. In alternative mongering I would miss the special "strut" of the SW as she moves down the sidewalk and the "look" that only she can give you as you drive by.

The Costa Mesa police are no long enforcing "criminal intent to solicit". This law was challenged in the California supreme court. This is the reason why Ricman was not arrested.
Now this is different from "civil intent to solicit". LA has this law, but they don't actively enforce this law on a regular basis. Apparently this law was challenged and the DA told LE to ease up. The cops still enforce the law, but only when they actually catch a guy with a SW. So if the cops stop the SW and guy while they are parked, but not having sex the cops can use this law to impound your car. When the cops first started using this law they were impounding guys a car for merely giving a girl a ride. I would be interested find out how many times the DA has used this law. The problem is that I don't think you can do a subject search on court records.

I hear ya. The action on Harbor, as we're aware, has been very sporadic. Daytime was popping for awhile but now the best action I've seen has been after 11pm. But don't listen to me. I've never really been much of a day cruiser so I can't really comment on those times. However, over the many years that I've cruised this track, some of the best talent I've found has been between 11:00 p.m. - 4:00 a.m.

I'm really never in that part of OC at those times. Late night/early morning usually provides for some good viewing, but lately, it's been very inconsistent.

Brother Malibu...I'm single too and it makes mongering a lot simpler I agree. But I remember when I was married and all the trouble I had to go through to cover up my hobby. One method I had to get rid of possible smells of a provider's perfume was to stop at a gas station on my way home, top off my gas tank and deliberately spill gas on my hands. I figured this would pretty much eliminate any telltale odors I might have picked up from my "philandering".
