Otherwise given it is the weekend Rhino typically has really good talent but it's expensive. Sahara offers a good chance for extras, but some girls will just tell you they offer outside the club in my experience. You can also check listings for dancers that offer extras as they will tell you directly which club to come to.

Look in COI forums, they haven't been worth it lately unless you want extras & spend a lot.

In OC, it depends what you want. If it's hot variety & real mileage not required, do topless clubs like Satin or the Library or California Girls Anaheim. More of a party atmosphere.

Nude clubs are more extras-oriented (tho not all deliver), and can be more transactional. Ecstasy is best, but expensive & you'll be competing with high roller old Newport Beach dudes so may be tough to detach the hotter girls from their regulars. And while OC is you might get that vibe in Ecstasy (altho it's more on the "who has money" bias sense). Won't be a factor at most other nude OC clubs, they're usually like 50%+ Hispanic both dancers & customers.

I enjoy TJ's, Imperial can be fun but is usually tame on mileage, California Girls Santa Ana can be OK; avoid Taboo.

As requested, here is a report from my trip to some of the OC strip clubs. I arrived on Friday and hit up 3 in this order.

TJ's in Stanton.

Got there about 10:00 on Friday night. The club is rather small with the only stage in the middle with a tip rail and some chairs and tables in the open area and a row of bench seats on either side. There were a bunch of private rooms around the perimeter. Cover was $20 with a mandatory drink purchase as soon as you walk in and they are serious about that. I think the water was $6. There were about 10 girls and maybe 15 patrons so it wasnt busy for a Friday night. Several girls were just standing around. Most of the girls were not to my liking because they were much bigger than I prefer, a couple were just plain fat. Looked like most were hispanic with 1 black girl and maybe 2 white girls but its hard to tell in the dark especially if they have dark hair too. I wasnt really impressed by any of them but this cute girl with tattoos on her neck and shoulders came up to me to say hi, I like tattoos and she was what I would call "thick" in a good way. She offered me a dance and I took her up on the 3/$30 deal in a semi private room with a curtain. The Library.

This place is definitely the upper end of classy strip clubs. Very well lit with LEDs huge LED video wall behind the main stage and one side stage on each side each with a pole. Cover was $20 with a pat down from the door man. Woodford Reserve whiskey was $15. The place was hype! There were at least 25-30 girls and maybe 100 patrons. I saw several groups of women in here also which was cool. I started with $40 in $1 and went through those pretty quickly. Every single girl in there was at least a 8-9 and there were at least 2 tens that I saw. I never saw any lap dances and I never actually talked to any of the working girls so I have no idea how the VIP works or how much dances were. I got caught up in the main stage!! There were at least 3 whales in there throwing multiple $20 stacks of one dollar bills. One dude unwrapped a $100 stack and dollar bills were everywhere including all over me!! I wasnt trying to compete but it did get me in the mood. There were three Asian girls / patrons (probably Filipino) that were also dropping a stack or two. I think they each had a $100 stack. Got there about 8:30 and they were closed AF. Their website said they should have been open but alas. I was going to drive all the way over to Imperial but I remember how expensive it was and I didn't want to drive that far. There was a massage parlor right down the street in a strip mall on the same side that I considered but that would have been a complete shot in the dark so I didn't risk it. DId a search to see which clubs were closer and Cali Girls showed that it was about 3 miles away so I was on my way.

California Girls Santa Ana.

This was a fully nude club so no alcohol. Cover was $20 without any drink purchase requirement. Got there during the shift change between 8-9 so the number of girls gradually increased through out the night. There were about 8-9 patrons when I got there and about 15 when I left at 10:30. They had $20 topless dances in the main area or $40 nude lap dances in the back where they have cubicles that are semi-private and they had larger rooms with curtains for the VIP dances. I liked the setup. All of the girls were pretty hot, none were fat or excessively old. I probably threw out about 100 $1 through out the night at the main stage. I got a nude lap dance from Unique, Dahlia and this white spinner whos name I can't remember. The spinner definately didn't offer extras and the dance was barely "ok", I would rate it a 5 out of 10. Unique was a petite but somewhat thick white girl with a classic dirty school girl look wearing glasses and a short haircut. Dance was pretty good and she put that pussy right in my face and she didn't react when I touched the naughty bits. I thonk if I had asked, extras might have been available. I knew a girl who worked there for awhile & said it was more like sugar babies who wrested many dinners & shopping trips etc. From their marks. But hey, if that's your thing & your money, knock yourselves out.

Cal Girls Santa Ana is a Spearmint Rhino club, and although it is physically at the bottom of their food chain (along with Blue Zebra in NoHo), the girls don't feel that way & still ask "classy club" rates. Quality is hit & miss, as is mileage; but I've seen a couple true hotties there (that girl with the tiger tat on her leg. Berlin?- had the most perfect snatch I've ever seen).

Why do clubs open during the day? Even with only a handful of dancers they can do reasonable business if each has stream of regulars coming in. Strike #1: there were probably no more than 11-12 dancers there the entire night, so the manager on the phone was already being dishonest.

Strike #2: Girls were quoting me wildly different prices for VIP's and even the regular couch dances ($40 for topless and $80 for nude single song? Are you kidding me? How many suckers actually frequent this club? And when I asked a floor manager what the standard dance prices were, he shrugged and said that each girl sets their own prices. I have NEVER heard of a club that didn't set standard prices (so they could secure their cuts off every dance). VIP prices were so ridiculous and none of the performers rated higher than a 7 in looks.

Strike #3: the most annoying DJ ever who was constantly berating the patrons to tip the stage dancers; even the ones who did tip were still being hounded by him to tip even more! Given that many girls barely even strpped all the way down and most were either 5's or 6's, this was a mood-killer the whole night. Not to mention the dumbest stage set-up I've ever seen, where the tip rail was still set 3 feet away from the stage, and the fact that the DJ would often dim the lights so much that you barely see the dancer's faces, much less any other parts of the body worth looking at.

Strike #4: Dancers were even cussing me out if I politely declined their requests for a dance. I say no if their asking price is too ridiculous, if they're not that attractive, if they barely talked to me, or all of the above. And they have the nerve to think guys are obligated to pay to dance with them? WTH?

Saddest part was that it was too late for me to try another place, so I just sat through this misery for 3 hours straight, hoping that something would turn around, but it never did.

Day shift had a robo-DJ and the dance prices were posted on a board on the wall to the left of the bar (from customer perspective), so those weren't issues before. But management has always been iffy: the doorman used to badger you for tips as you entered, sometimes with threats he'd tell the girls you're cheap. Girls said they still demanded tip-outs too. Greedy bastards, probably the same cause that led to your bad time. It's a Rhino club, so maybe complain to corporate on their website?

I went on a Sunday afternoon / evening. I met a good dancer w / reasonable prices (standard prices). The VIPs also have standard prices. If you don't know the prices, you ask the bar girl. Some girls will quote you extra to cover the portion that the club gets. At that point, you send them off. If she quotes you the standard price, you decide if she's worth a try. 9/10 times the girls aren't worth it (that's any strip club). $200 gets me high milage, entry fee, drinks, tip the girl (she earned it), and I still have cash left over. All that and I was out of there in about an hour. You might need to go 2-3 times before you find someone decent. I've walked if I didn't find a girl to my liking.

After going to TJ's Showgirls, I had to keep going on strip clubs tour while I'm back in LA.

Went to Imperial Showgirls on NYE door fee was $10 with app discount. 23 girls working this night for the new years and it didn't disappoint.

Threw sum dollahs had some chats with a few girls. 2 for $40 dances, 15 min VIP for 120, and 30 min for 180 VIP in your own room / booth all night.

But as the other guy noted, sometimes how you set the opening bid properly varies based on the club.

And of course some girls won't bargain, for a variety of reasons from GPS delusions to the hard fact that they're actually hot enough to get away with it. Or, it may be about the customer or other circumstances that day. Not every deal closes at your price. If you choose not to accept failure, you roll over. But the ultimate decision is the customer's: cash is king. If one overpays, you only have yourself to blame (and you will probably rationalize an excuse why it wasn't you LOL).

But I disagree with your "low end" numbers: I still routinely pay $140-200 for FS and not for low end fuglies (well, not all). I went there several times, all pre-COVID I think, all day shifts. 1-3 dancers, 0-1 customers besides me. Usually one decent looker, one fugly. More white girls than a typical nude club, probably because mileage is so limited. VIPs behind gauzy curtains but not private, and managers would stick their head in to check!! One girl once said she could get away with a hand job, but her price could have got me FS elsewhere. I walked out danceless several times since the only looker was on lockdown with a regular. Boring, boring time. Unless owner or management has changed, I can't imagine it's much different. But you never know, you saw more girls than on I probably did on 4 visits!! Had an itch that needed to be scratched, and with Ecstasy now closed on Sundays I waffled between making the trek out to Synn or the shorter drive to Sahara. I checked the roll calls for a few hours before heading out and Synn seemed quieter so I decided on Sahara. It was my first time there and I'd seen online that there were $20 nude dances but it was not brought up once. Imperials I think it was under 200 for 30 min, like 180. But generally expect close to 200 to stay safe, obviously the 15 min sessions are cheaper but come on, might waste a few minutes getting ready / talking LOL.

Than you will want to at least have another few hundred on you depending on the girl, say keep an extra 400 (usually haven't had anyone turn down 4, even the ones who want 7 haven't turned that down). You can always try negotiating prior to VIP with the girl.

Obviously ymmv, this is what works for me and what im comfortable with. Others may disagree with that amount and say its ridiculous, your choice.
