I was on a trip from out of town and wanted to check out some of the local SC. After looking over the Anaheim board, I decided that I should check out Flamingo. I called a Taxi and made my way over to the club. It was 9 pm on a Tuesday night and there were 2 guys just hanging out right outside. I went to the door and was just about to pay the cover until I saw this sign, "No Alcohol". Whoa. I need some drinks in me for this sort of action and I've had 0 so far. I asked the door guy if there was a bar I can go to nearby. He spoke to me with broken english not understanding what I was saying, but just told me to go to The Venetian, they sell drinks there. Luckily my taxi was still there and drove me on over.

My Yelp app gave me $5 off the cover, so I only paid $5 to get in. This place was empty. There were probably 5 girls working and 3 guys hanging out. The ratio was looking good. I finished two beers until a girl came up to me and started talking. I was really enjoying this club, the girls working looked like they were having fun, encouraging each other to dance and how to. I liked it. The girl I was talking to was hot, probably a 8/10. In her 30's, blonde, and nice tits. At first she seemed bored with our conversation, and even when I offered her a drink, she just wanted water. 3 drinks in, our conversation got better, and 30 min later, we then talked about getting a dance. Its a neighborhood dive with a couple of TVs showing sports. Definitely a chill atmosphere to alleviate your thirst. Some of the Sahara dancers hang out there on breaks and before / after shifts. Flamingo is about a half mile away. Also a sex shop right next door so you can arm yourself with latex if you think the need will arise.

Check out the Bird on Sunday, and the place was dead. Sat and chatted with Milan, a hot Filipina. She quoted me $. 5 for everything in the private booth (including booth price). Shoulda been more diligent in my pre-game inquiries. Get in, start up, and then when jr's out, "That'll be extra. " Effing hardcore upsell. Wanted another $ for the beej. Don't waste your time on her boys. Admitted she's been ousted from COI clubs. Wonder why. Hmm.

As for the quality of the dances, YMMV, but IMHO (on average) the dances at TJ's were better. (I paid $40 for 2-4-1 nude. They tell me that the regular pricing is $20 for topless lap, and $40 for nude lap.)

Interviewing the girls, TJ's made a major reconfiguration of the floor space within the past year or so. On one side of the room, they have a row of curtained booths. On the other side of the room, they have a VIP section that is more private than Flamingo's curtained off VIP area. I don't know if full on extras are available. Note: FunTrust's report mentioned that there were security cameras in there; and I observed a manager with a clipboard pop in and out of there with regularity. I don't think extras are available - but I don't know for sure because it wasn't offered. But some of the girls have mentioned that they have worked at HT and / or TL at one time or another, so who knows what their limits are once they feel comfortable with you. YMMV.

I usually went in on weekday afternoon where they have fewer customers. They ran a free entry special at those time, other time is $5 I believe. Out of the 4 dances I got so far, two of them are from young dancers in their 20's', very mechanical. The other two are from dancer in their mid-term 20, low 30. Its obvious they got more experience. Dance usually won't get me much interest. But one dancer found my weak spot within the first dance, and my canon was about to wake up. Other things worth mentioning, it is a bikini club and pretty strict on no touching. I am new to this, but the way the booth are set up, I don't think you will get much extra when you are in the club either.

If it's rush hour from about 4-7 I think would be worst.

People with more knowledge of traffic patterns in the area please feel free to correct me.

But if you're going to play at night, there won't be as bad, but still lots of cars on the road.

For example, right now at 7:40 local time, traffic is pretty good according to google's traffic and the trip will take about 45 minutes.

If you're wanting to make a quick stop, then the 1. 5 hour round trip might not be worth it.

But if you're making a night of it, I'm sure you'll enjoy it out there.

On this board, it's often referred to as the Bird. Much closer than city of industry and extras available in the private booth, but beware the upsell. Be sure to get the price and service promised before you give her any money. I usually tell them when asked about the booth that the last time I did that the girl tried to get more money from me after we agreed on a price. That let's them know I'm aware of their game. That usually gets them to say they won't do that.

But it isn't unreasonable to demand minimal hygiene if you're concerned. Its been several years since I've visited these establishments so I have some perspective but they are pretty much the same. I visited each twice during the day near shift change.

Came by on a Saturday right before the free admission ended. Handful of girls trying to get in their last few dances at the end of their shift and the club was running quite a few 2 for 1's. Last year, I mongered aggressively throughout OC and the SGV.
