17 years. Syphilis, chlamydia, Gonnorhea (sp?) are bacterial infections. They are treatable with antibiotics. Go to the doc to get the right type and regiment drugs. HIV, herpes (HSV2), and hep C aren't curable, but all are treatable. Get tested every 3 to 4 months anyhow, because many infections are asymptomatic.

I agree that the Tubs is probably the best bet these days. The only other hourly I know of is the Dolphin in Point Loma. there is nothing to freak out about, i was just passing along information that i know. simply be aware of your surroundings and know that le, on occasion, does watch some seedy hotels and pressures the owners to report suspicious activity. the union tribune reports on it several times a year. it affects the hotel owners much more than the mongers.

Meaning you have a reasonable expectation of privacy and the police cannot encroach upon your privacy UNLESS they have a search warrant. Thus, even if the police see you walking into a motel with an SW they cannot get into that room without a warrant. DO NOT ANSWER THE DOOR IF THEY COME KNOCKIN! If you answer the door you are fucking up! If you DO NOT answer the door they have to go through the formal process of getting a warrant. Likely not to happen---LE got bigger fish to fry!

Motel owners can call the police, however, this does not defeat the search warrant requirement. Now if LE gets the motel owner to open the door---you may be cited or or even arrested, however, your attorney will vindicate you after a pre-trial evidentiary hearing invoking your 4th Amendment right to unreasonable search and seizure. A buddy of mine had sublet his apartment to some hippies for the summer. Even though I wasn't really going to do anything, I just took a cruise down ECB around 1PM, from one end to the other.

I'm not defending all photo posts because there are some that are crap. I'll stick with what I know -- the majority of the ones posted on this thread are legit and helpful. I do most of my mongering in the daytime on the ECB stroll. Sometimes it is great. Sometimes it is dead. Most often it is somewhere in between. I only know the San Diego scene but here on ECB during the day it is usually very clear which girls are working and which are not. Most mongers in San Diego with more than a couple of months under their belts should be able to know which girls are working and which are not. Most businesses know it (and complain about it) The cops know it too -- better than anyone else. This board helps even the odds by sharing info. The Union Tribune reported yesterday that soon ECB will have a camera mounted by 30th Street to deter prostitution. Those are the only photos which will worry me. We need all the help we can get now.

Regarding the four girls in DonHo's recent photos, I've been with two of them and know they are not civilians. A third girl I've seen out on the stroll for years and although she ain't my bag, I know she is no civilian. I don't know the fourth but she does not look like a random chick to me. From reading the various threads over the last year, I believe that the vast majority of members want the photos, some because its interesting to them and they like to look, some because it helps them monger and compare notes. For some, like me, its both reasons. Jackson has posted rules. Photos that violate the rules can be pulled. Its his bandwith not ours.

While I'm on the topic, I've noticed that for those that don't like sw photos, the complaints are usually one of the following--

1. Photos could help cops id and bust streetwalkers -- I don't see this at all. Cops know who the streetwalkers are and, in San Diego, are usually very efficent in running them off.

2. Photos could help cops id and bust mongers. -- I dont' see this either. First, all photos should be cropped or have non sws faces blurred. The vast majority of the photos I've seen don't contain information that would incriminate a monger. I have seen several photos which show a license plate or a girl leaning into an auto. That is not cool and those photos should not be posted. Even then, a cop cannot bust someone for talking to a known sw. To post a photo, it needs to be resized to a point where it cannot be downloaded and enlarged to show more detail without losing most of the definition. Worrying that some LE somewhere is blowing up these photos and getting info to arrest mongers is paranoia to me. 3. It is uncool/wrong to post a photo of girl who is not a sw. -- I agree with that. I think most of us have no interest in civilian photos or "maybe" photos but the answer is not to only post photos of girls you have had. Use common sense. If a camera phone photo shows enough to supplement a post about when and where a girl was out and how attractive she was, it's worth it. A smoking 7 to some is a 4 or 5 to others. I think the bottom line is that if Jackson sees a problem, he will change the rules to elimate postings that take up too much space. This site serves a variety of interests. These the number of sw's out is more dependent on the weather and how much the cops are cracking down here and in other cities. There is a lot of sw's that are coming from vegas due to the recent crackdown there. The weather and the seasons also plays a factor as well. There is usually some better looking sw's during the late winter. I would think that San Diego's good weather would attract more sw's. Did a couple of passes on ECB today before going to college and after, so between 11-12 and then a couple of hours later. I'm a humble TX monger coming out to San Diego on bidness in a few days (I've posted off and on in the Houston area forum among others), and I was wondering what the best streetz are out that way - especially specific intersections to look for, since I'm not familiar with the local terrain there - and maybe info on where the the best action for ladies of caucasian, african and or (especially) latin descent may be found. I'll be going over to TJ as well if I can squeeze it in, so any recommendations about that fair city (beyond what's already in their part of the forum) would be appreciated as well.

First two girls I ever picked where in that area, so yeah, there are girls next to the Billiards place and even more east bound, all the way past College Ave even, do you know where the Day's Inn is past College heading East?
