Last night, I went to the Redondo at 10PM and left at 11:15PM. While there, the standard group of girls showed up. A few were under 21 and were thrown out. The really cute one with the lame service (Peaches?) hung out for awhile.

Having been a monger for almost 15 years and done mongering in about 1/2 of all US major cities, the following is my current ranking for cities I have mongered in within the past year. I allowed Canada to be included. All the areas below have been significantly reduced in the amount of girls available, but still merit ranking.

I use the following guidelines for ranking US cities.

1. Quantity of girls available, this equates to about 40% of the overall score, the theory here is, if there are no girls to chose from, or they are all so damn ugly, then nothing else really matters.
2. Quality of the girls available.

3. Price charged for comparative quality

4. LE interference, I.E., chances of being busted. Risk reward factor.

5. Level of service received. You would surprised on this one how much level or service varies from one city to the next.

6. Easily able to locate and pickup the girls.

7. The city itself, how are the accommodations eateries and surrounding areas where the working girls might be found.

Rankings:

1. Vancouver. Just paid my first visit here last week, hands down it is the best. Good looking girls lots of quantity to chose from, most were nice and offered great service. LE really looks the other way and does not much care, unless you or the girl is causing problems.

2. Portland Oregon, Girls are frequent in numerous easy to find spots. LE is cracking down, but not near as bad as many cities. The girls are almost always friendly and offer superior service.

3. LA California, High quantity, hit and miss on the service, LE attitude, is out of sight, out of mind.

4. New York, Quantity, galore! No place in the USA to find this many girls! Service is 60% bad, but when it's good, its good! NY can be a pain in the ars, to find the mongering water holes, but once there, in any of a dozen places you can find 50-100 girls to choose from on any given night at any single location. This means, there can be over 1000 girls to chose from overall. You have to learn to adapt to the right NY attitude.

5. Phoenix, AZ. Overall not bad, lots of bad attitude hookers, but when you find a gem, it can be nice.

6. San Francisco, AMP scene second to none. There are old fashioned brothels everywhere. After-all this is the land of liberals and the gay movement. Do you think finding an AMP with full service would be hard. SW are far less frequent now, but the AMP are rampant.

7. Seattle, yes, it's not all bad here. Still lots of girls, if you know where to look.

8. Houston Texas, lots of girls spread out hard to find, but most are nice and eager to please Texas style.

My list of cities that I mongered in that were incredible:

La Ceiba, Honduras (the scene has tapered off since Hurricane Mitch, but any woman there will sleep with you if they find you in the least bit attractive). My first trip there, you could walk down the main drag in town and be propositioned by 30-40 hot women as they walked by. I quit paying for sex there, about 4 years ago. I met a beautiful girl at the bar (she was an aspiring model). After talking to her for an hour she asked if she could come back to my room. We went back to my room had incredible sex, while we were having sex she made me promise that we'd go out dancing afterwards. Later she explained to me that in La Ceiba, the women know that men won't spend time with them unless they have sex with them (true), she liked me and wanted to spend time with me so she had sex with me so I would hang out with her. We spent two weeks together and I was about 1 signature and $200 away from getting a fiancee visa to bring her back to the US. I eventually quit taking her calls, but I learned from that point on that I didn't need to pay for sex (I always paid for drinks, dinner and whatever, but rarely would I hand over cash for sex). Average cost in La Ceiba for sex is $10-15, for $20 they will spend the night. The only downside is that they all want to be your girlfriend and will fight over you (my last trip, I had a bunch of girls tell my "girlfriend" that they had slept with me when she was away). Right now airfare is expensive from Seattle (about $1000) but I usually pay $500-$600 for airfare. The hotel is about $16-20 per night. My last trip, I spent 3 weeks there and spent less than $1200 on my room, food at the better restaurants, beer (45-50 cents a bottle) and chicas.

Puerto Barrios, Guatemala - A port city in Guatemala. Also home to some of the most beautiful college girls that I've ever seen. Again, they will sleep with you if you are American for free (with the hope that you may fall in love and take them back to the US). If you pulled a girl from a brothel (yes, they are legal there), it cost about $30-50 for the night. A girl from the street was $15-$20. For about an hour in her room at the brothel was about $25. This was for the hottest girls in town (definite 9 or 10s and not the Seattle SW 9-10s), the uglier ones (all of which are far more attractive than what we see on streets), were $10-15. The only downside is that the trip is a 5 hour bus ride from Guatemala City ($4 for a first class bus, $2.50 for the chicken bus).

Boca Chica, Dominican Republic - A great place for me because I'm black and American. I'm not particularly fond of Black women (nothing about the look, I just loathe the attitude), but here the majority act like Latinas (polite and GFE) and many are F'ing hot.

Mazatlan, Mexico - If you can't get laid by an American tourist here. You are LAME!


As you can tell, I like the Latinas. The best part of travelling is that I have no competition with the locals. For some reason they liked the "bigger" girls while I like the rail thin ones (with the big ass, of course). I also try and stay away from places that a ton of mongers go to. Costa Rica for example has so many mongers there that the prices have jumped from $20-$30 for the hot girls to $100 over the last 7-8 years. This is for a country where the average person makes about $200 month. For various reasons I avoid Asian countries, though I may try the Philipines one day.

I'll be taking another trip to Lima and probably one to Columbia or Argentina this year.

Tonight was a good night to be out. Every LEO in town was in Pioneer Square patroling Fat Tuesday. I didn't see a single one in over two hours of cruising. Unfortunately there weren't many SW's out either. I was about to give up when I spotted three nice ones on the east side of Aurora at Harrison Street. My cities for mongering:

1. Melbourne, Australia - Hands down the best quality, least LE action and great prices. Heck brothels are legal! Factor in a good exchange rate and your golden,plus the brothels take credit cards. Great for expenses! BTW - Just accepted a job that requires me to move back to Sydney. I got about 5-6 weeks left here in the US.

2. Frankfurt, Germany - What can I say about the FKK's, including the well renowned Club Atlantis, F-35 etc.

3. London - Forget the streetwalkers, the escorts are TOP notch. scandalbabes.co.uk is a good example. Makes the paid escorts here look like road trash and extremely SERVICE oriented.

4. Houston, Texas (going this Sunday for 4 days) - check out Houston Dolls and St. James. You will be satisfied for $60 bones. I'm well known in both of those clubs, and have a fantastic time. Even get a few to come back to the room for $ and drinks\food.

5. Wash. DC - There are some excellent in-house escorts, and the street scene has some incredible ladies, though LE can be a pain as long as you don't be stupid you will be okay.

6. Bordertowns around Mexico\Texas - WIDE OPEN and dirt cheap, but obviously you only get latinos. So variety is lacking. Also can be a bit risky, take the charter tours (see the Mexico and Texas posts on these).

7. Vegas baby! Unlike some other accounts, my last trip to Vegas (see post in Vegas ~ nov 03') I had a great time, dropping ~6 benji's during the week but had a excellent time. My only purpose for gambling was to win enough for the next pop! MGM near the back poker machines where the serve drinks is ho alley. Collect one and go to your room. Plus plenty of bar action at CLub Tabu to pick up regular chicks.

8. Seattle - Since I've been back these oh..past 5 years, I use Seattle as my way station in between trips. Some good quality on the street, but escorts are WAY to expensive and don't do a whole lot for a buck fifty. Plus the LE crap gets really old, but what can you do? Except move.

My WORST places (due to LE, Cost vs. Services, variety

1. Phoenix - Land of the ripoffs. Read enough posts when I went there, I expected the worst and got it. Every last one of them tried to scam or had some big dude show up, which I promptly refused to open the door. Didn't lose a dime - but didn't get anything either during my entire stay. What a waste of time and effort. The Phoenix board has a host of horror rip-off stories. They have a few strip clubs - and they ALL suck - but at least they have a few. Have a few beers, see some tits and leave. And LE is all over the usual areas. Sheriff's don't kid around down there and you will lose your car - kind of like a San Diego deal.

2. San Diego - Right now is has to be the most LE centric city in the US. If we did as much there are we do here we would ALL get busted eventually. That leaves you with HIGH priced escorts and Phoenix style rip-offs.

3. Chicago - Can you believe the city of Al Capone now sucks big time? Heck they don't even have good strips joints anymore. Forget SW's - LE is all over them and you. Escort city, and the law of supply and demand - makes things expensive - just like here! Thanks to Dailey. WTF!!

4. LA - Yea it's huge, so if you don't mind driving to Pomona, etc or doing the Hollywood blvd thing, forget it. LE stings galore and just a tad dangerous in general.

5. San Jose\Cupertino area - You think we got it bad? They have nothing. I mean squat. AMP's are about all you got left and those are hit-n-miss. Downtown SJPD will spot you in a heartbeat trying to get SW's- you don't want to get popped in SJC. No strip clubs - I hate cities with no strip clubs at all, even if they suck - at least have 1 club!

6. F'rickn Salt Lake City. Your best bet is to go to club "Naked" downtown and pick up college chicks, if you see a SW it will be a skankazoid with LE following.

7. Jacksonville FL - Bible belt college town and LE will follow you out of a bar and try to get you for DUI - they are fanatics for DUI. After doing a $40 cab ride just to get anywhere decent and party - I quickly reduce my adventures to hotel guests like me. They have a few areas for SW's but reading the posts doesn't even make the effort worth the risk.

8. Anchorage, Alaska -G'tang I know you hang out there -heck I grew up in Anchor' town! 70's and 80's buddy YEA! Now, it's like a ghost town. Was there last year for a week and found some fun but the good ol' days are LONG GONE. AMP's, some escorts charging ridiculus prices for crap. SW's are mostly skankazoids, with good ones getting taken on a moments notice. LE is also a pain from what I read on other posts. I did score a Vegas gal's digits - whom I saw on my Vegas trip. As long as we are at it, I have some Favorite Cities too, based upon similar criteria others have defined:

1. Victoria, B.C. Been going there regularly for 14 years. The street scene is nowhwere near what it was 5 years ago, but the escort services are excellent deals with generally good to great service. Looks are generally good, and ages vary. However, you may have to be firm, but polite, to get what you really want. It's there. Ask and you will recieve a very foxy woman. Don't ask and you may get whatever is immediately available. Check Monday Magazine for specials and ask discreet questions. I have been to Vancouver many times, and although there are alot of fine looking SW's, I have found them way overpriced, and with unpleasant attitudes and stingy service, especially compared to Victoria. Also, more scams now than before.

2. Bratislava, Slovakia SW's are hit and miss around the K-mart, but most are very low cost. $25 US will get you a room and full service. The Brothels are pretty good. Got an excellent deal for $US=90 for two fine ladies for two full hours, including booze and snacks. Got treated like a King.

3. Prague, Czech Republic Brothels, brothels everywhere. Many hot women in them. No need for SW's. More expensive than Bratislava, but more sophisticated too. Cabbies were rip-offs if you let them.

4. Playa del Coco, Costa Rica. Had a fantastic Tica for two hours for $40US.
Stand in the town square after dark and a player with a Cell phone will order up to your specifications! Not a steet scene per se, but the intermediaries will treat you right, as long as you don't act like a dufus. San Jose is hit and miss with all the mongers there. Overpriced too. The brothels are not bad, but could be better. I did see many georgous Ticas there. A little Spanish goes a long way. The Northwestern part of the country is not as jaded and $$ towards mongers as San Jose and the Southwest, where most of the mongers go. The NW is harder to get to, but cheap and worth it.

5. London. I agree with the post that they are excellent servicers, but the prices, like everything else there, are sky high! Too much emphasis on big fake breasts for my taste. Shepard's Market had a pretty good walkup scene when I was there.

6. Los Angeles/San Francisco Lived in L.A. for over 10 years, and found some pretty hot escorts with great service and reasonable prices. The SW's are all too jaded for my taste, and as in San Francisco, many of them are TV's!! S.F. indeed does have a great AMP scene. Many fond FS memories. Be carefull with the non-Asian MP's, as they can be crafty scammers--Greet you with a georgous one, take your money, substitue an ugly one after you are in the room, refuse to refund your money. Asking if the one who greets you will be the one who will service you may not generate an honest answer.

7. Barcelona, Spain Wonderful and wickedly sexy Latina's! Spainard's know how to party! SW's on the Robles can be a little skanky and shady, but patience and caution should reward you. Many hang out in the Robles St. bars. Escort scene is pretty high quality, and you can bargan the price down significantly, if you play your cards right. Lot's of Brazillians in the Escort scene, with their famous bubble butts and strong curves, yum!

Been to Paris too, and the SW's scene was plentiful, but very uneven and somewhat shady. I saw mongers waiting outside certain flats for the best looking in a take-a-number style to get a 15 min. quicky for 80 Francs! Many SW's hang out outside their flats or apts., then bring you inside. Avoid the Pigale area at all costs, unless you want to be ripped off big time in the clubs, or like agressive, addicted SW's.

I look forward to a trip to Australia, hopefully in the next year or two. Melbourne does have a great rep, as well as the beaches along the East Coast, Bondi anyone? Puerto Vallarta is also on my list, as many have told me there are Selma Hyak look-alike SW's everywhere! One can dream.

Seattle is also a way station for me, and it's middle of the road compared to most other US cities, IMO.

I'll add another favorite mongering city - Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It seemed like there was a "Health Center" on very corner. Go in, ask for a line-up, pick your companion and have fun. Costs were very reasonable - about $30 US when I was there last.

Brazil was better, but Malaysia was a close second.

Places that weren't so good. Japan - unless you're Japanese, sucked. Korea was OK. Taiwan was very over-priced for the quality. India, while very cheap, the quality was horrible, so I didn't purtake.

I could tell you what it was like in Japan and South Korea during Nam but it would probably date me. Japan was by far the better of the two places as long as you had (for the time) enough money. Got paid 165.00 a month and the girls wanted $20.00 a pop. Japaneese girls wanted to please you and did.

South Korea was different. A girl worked out of her "home" which consisted of one room with the bed on the floor and a chamber pot in the far corner. You could rent one "mama san" and room for $45 to $55 a month. Living off base in one of those compounds was a different experience for sure. I think what this thread of other places to monger proves what I've been saying for years. The US is so sexually repressed that it's ridiculous. My first trip to Guatemala (my second trip outside the US and first without an SO), was such an eye opening experience for me. I thought I was some sort of sicko, because I wanted to have sex with as many different women as I could.

When I got to Guatemala, I found that this was perfectly normal. Going to a strip bar/brothel was not stigmatized (in Guatemala, most strip bars have rooms in the back to have sex with girls if you like them), and I would see women walk their husbands/boyfriends up to the doors of the strip joint and kissing them goodbye. Women that don't work at the club are not allowed in (try that here). The men explained to me that their SO would rather have them screw a woman that they won't fall in love with, than have 7 or 8 different girlfriends. I learned that women in other countries will not date you unless they want or expect to have sex with you. In almost every case, I knew that if a woman said yes to dinner I was getting laid that night. At home, women will leach off of you forever and be upset if you even hinted that they were "obligated" to have sex with you (becuase you spent several hundred dollars on them). I met so many great women and cool guys traveling and I realized that American women are really, really screwed up. I have not dated a real American woman since.

I think everyone should take at least one trip outside of the US, you would be amazed at what you're missing. You can travel to many places very cheaply. My last trip to Peru cost me a total of $2K including airfare. I was there 10 days had sex about as much as I wanted and met alot of great people. I think anyone on this board can come up with 2K, the hard part is taking time off of work. I have my own business and as it grows, it's getting harder and harder to actually leave it more than a day or two at a time.

Fargo? You would probably have better luck anywhere else, except Bismark. I grew up there and there is no such thing as a streetwalker. If you notice there are almost NO posts in the ND section; that is because the cops there are VERY no nonsense and people are so conservative. On Saturday night around 9:PM I started cruising near Denny park. Seemed to be really dead in the City so I headed south along E. Marginal Wy. I went through South Park then up De Moines quite a way, all with no sightings.

Finally around 10:pm I ended up at the Redondo and sat around for about a half an hour. I was either too late or too early as the scene was pretty slow. As I was about to give up and head for Tacoma I noticed a short blond heading out of the parking lot for Pac Hwy north. I caught up with her about 200 yards north of the intersection with 272nd.

Peaches was not at the Redondo last night, but the other girls were. She has been there many times, but they are allowed to have people under 21 there as long as it's before 9PM. Of course I've seen her there many times after 9PM so she may have a fake ID.

Decided to take the long route to the health club tonight. I used Pacific Hwy from Des Moines to Federal Way. I was just passing 272nd and a shooting happened at around 280th. Haven't been very active lately but did try my luck on Thursday evening between Winona/Aurora to 156th/ Aurora for several round trips between 8:15 PM until 10:15 PM:

However it is 140 miles from Seattle and on a good day about a 2 and 1/2 hour drive -- not counting time spent at the border or cruising for SW's. If you spend two hours in the city you're looking at a minimum seven hour investment. If I leave my house at 9pm then I'll be able to make it home by 4 am to get a couple hours of sleep before work. Wow, what a difference two hours makes. After all these years I have quite never understood the different pricing structures of the game. You quote prices for three categories $$/$$/$$. What exactly does that represent. In my world I have a lot more categories. Good post by Civ2000 on services/pricing. I would differentiate more between FS and 1/2 and 1/2 in pricing. Many think the two are the same. I look at it from a Brothel menu perspective.

To me, FS lets you do pretty much anything that you agree on, as much as you can handle, for a defined period of time, min. 1 hour That is worth 100+ to me. I would not go for the latter part ONLY of the 1/2 and 1/2, especially for the higher $$. FSA is usually the highest $$ category, but always, always, with a safety cover. .8 is the going price for SW FS, in my experience, provided it is not just in the vehicle, but someplace much more comfortable. I would do .6 max. for 1/2 and 1/2 in the vehicle. Just my 10 cents.

While I have found a very few stunningly georgeous and generous GFE SW's on the streets of Seattle over the years, that is very hit and miss, and it is very rare, in my experience, that they will bargan down very far, if at all. As long as it is worth it, great. The prices discussed assume you will get good service. he lost his job and subsequently lost his house which he used as collateral for the attornies fees. he learned that with a felony conviction (particularly for a sex crime) that 98% of all employers won't hire you. you can't even work as a cab driver with a felony conviction. if a place does a background check -- you pretty much are disqualified.

as a part of his probation he has to attend sexual deviancy counseling each week at his own cost. once a month he is given a polygraph and asked questions such as have you picked up a prostitute? have you viewed pornography? have you drank any alcohol? all of these are violations of his probation and if he fails the test he will be sent to prison for at least three years. in addition he is ordered to attend two sexual addiction meetings per week.

he lost the right to vote. he can never own a firearm; even for hunting or personal protection at home. he must register as a sex offender. with the patriot act they are going to be doing background checks of all persons attempting to fly. he's been told that if a sex felony comes up that he may be denied that right. he's not allowed to visit canada (ever) where he has family.

He was charged with second degree child rape, patronizing a juvenile prostitute, and possession of child pornography (probably after the cops seized his computer). He was probably looking at around 20 years, so decided to strike a deal and not risk a trial. I used to pick up the occasional 14 to 17-year-old in Canada (where the age of consent for nonpaid sex is still 14), but I'm leery of doing it anymore because of the US Protect Act that became law last year--which specifies a potential 30-year prison term and $250,000 fine for US citizens caught with under-18 ho's in any foreign country (take note, world travelers). I guess America isn't satisfied with its status as the planet's biggest incarcerator, so it's now going to prosecute US citizens who break laws in other countries. I'm not arguing that sex with under-18 ho's should be legal, but there has to be some proportionality to the crime in my opinion, and 30 years (25 more than the maximum under Canadian law) is just insane. My problem is that since everything is closed when I go there, it's really hard to pick them up (by driving through the parking lot), without drawing attention to yourself. Also, I have noticed that several will stand there in the open and not make a move to come over to you if you stop nearby. That gets my LE radar going.

Decided to og crusin' this afternoon and had an interesting day of it. Went down 99 towards town from 205th and saw no one until about Winnona. From what he said the cops had decided to let them both go with a verbal warning pending the outcome of a check of outstanding warrants. Then the call came back from the station that her name was right but the birthdate was not. And the rest was as I wrote.

I never see any action by that Larry's market or the strip mall. There is however an apartment a few blocks west with homemade signs warning prostitutes, drug users, and johns that they are being watched and to stay the hell out. That's always a good sign that something is going on in the neighborhood.

Went crusing on Friday evening, from 10:00 pm to about 1:00 pm. The streets were completely bare for the most part. At about 10:30, on Aurora near Denny park northbound there were a couple of BSWs and their gorilla pimp prying their trade. I have been to the parking lot that you're friend got busted in many times...except that I was parking. I avoid places that are hard to get out of when mongering. Also, there would never be a chance that someone would sneak up on me in the act, I'm always alert. Anyway, there were two of them, one is about 1 block north and 1 block west of the Hurricane and the other is a block or two south and another block west of the first one. I haven't been out there recently, but I believe the second may have disappeared but the first is probably still there.

Personally I avoid parking lots as a rule. It is too easy for the cops to sneak up on you. I like to find a dead end street. This makes it very hard for the cops sneak up on you.

Hizark21, I'm just the opposite of you. If I'm going to do a car date the only place I will park is a parking lot. I park as far away as I can and park between two other vehicles where I can see LE or someone else coming from a distance.

The sole reason I don't park on deadend streets is I haven't thought of an excuse to give LE for being there. What excuse would you give an officer for being on a dead end street miles away from home with a known prostitute and late at night?

Also, most dead end streets are in residential areas where the neighbors get very suspicious of any unknown car with unknown occupants.

I am from San Diego so maybe the situation is different up there. Another reason I like dead end streets is that it's much easier to tell if the cops are tailing you. In quiet areas there is almost no cars so you can tell if the cops are tailing you.

I'm curious since if I'm not mistaken most parking lots are considered private property. If this is in fact the case then wouldn't LE require a complaint or a warrant to investigate any private vehicle simply parking on the premises. This wouldn't be applicable on Municipal or City Parking locations but certainly would apply to Commercial Locations or Parking venues.

Such as any shopping centers, store parking, retail parking, especially where there are various drop offs or pick ups such as mail boxes, markets or food tenant's.

This is my first post.

Anyway, on the topic of Redondo Grill area. I live in the area. I was out last thursday, LE everywhere. The had a car and one girl pulled over at the corner. I know the girl was a worker as I have seen her before. Poor girl was in tears.

Other LE were sitting in the safeway parking lot.

Girls were heading for the hills in each direction.

I went to Seattle, came back later in the night.

The action was settled down, but an LE was parked in the delivery area behind the stores. Nothing to be found.

Next evening Friday night Went out for groceries. LE was once again going through the lot. I drove up and down Pacific a few times, nothing, came back. LE drive through Safeway again. I went in and got groceries, came out, and LE was making another pass.

I have not been out there since.

But I highly suspect that the action around the area is seriously being stopped.

It does not look like they are trying to actively arrest people.

As in undercover operations.

They are just making a big show or running the girls out of town.

Hizark, I'm just curious to know what you would say to LE in such a case. In Seattle if I were to park in the Oak Tree parking lot (not a good idea BTW) and LE approached my car, I could tell them we were about to see a movie; shopping at Larry's Market, drink coffee at Starbucks; go to IHOP, etc. But what do you tell them if you are parked in a totally isolated spot such as a deadend street? Obviously you have the right to remain silent, but if I see the cops approaching I prefer just to get out of the car and walk into Starbucks and order some coffee. What do you do? Also, it's easy to see if you're being followed.,just make a few turns and watch your rearview mirror.

Did the cruise south along Aurora at 5-6pm Sunday evening, and it was an interesting coincidence: a day of long-haired gals.

First was a tall, skinny HSW, 30ish, at about 130th. She was okay looking, but looked a little hardened and twitchy, so I gave her a pass. Her hair was in a ponytail, went to about the middle of her back.

There was a very good-looking blonde with a pretty good body, also 30ish, just south of the Home Depot, along the cemetary. She was eyeing the traffic and definitely in business, but I let her go because there wasn't a close place to pick her up. Her hair was worn free, and went two inches shy of her waist. She was really exceptional in the looks department, but I decided I didn't want to pull off south of the cemetary and wait the five minutes it would take for her to get down there.

Finally, there was a shorter, slightly pudgy gal at about 100th, with dirty blonde/brown hair down to her waist, again worn free. Unfortunately, when I pulled off to pick her up, two other vehicles pulled off at the same time and parked, one behind the other. Faced with three cars to choose from, she jumped quickly into the nearest.

I went back to see if the great-looking one was still along the street, but she'd been snapped up.

I took Aurora South this morning to work and happen to see a blond WSW near the oaktree. She was kind of cute so I thought she might be on her way to work. I prefer to know as least as possible about a SW. So I tell her I will take her to my garage. That I rent for my other car. You are correct, parking lots are considered private property and supposedly cops shouldn't bother you on private property. That said, I've never heard of a cop not busting someone doing something illegal on private property (unless it's the suspects property). In my younger days, I had many friends that would go drink, (smoke pot, whatever) in a private parking lot and get busted when the police showed up. The "I'm on private property" excuse never worked. I believe that the people that own the lots give the police permission to patrol there, which would make the bust valid. Also, even if the police didn't have permission, if you were a property owner and the police called you after the fact and said they caught someone doing an illegal act on your property and asked for your permission to be there, I don't know one person that would not give them permission.

As for the debate on the merits of dead-end streets vs. parking lots, the reality is that there is no truly safe place to have sex in public--which is why I try to emphasize on my site that you have the greatest Constitutional protection from LE indoors behind a locked door--and you have the right to refuse to open that door if they knock with no warrant. This is especially important if you have a weakness for lolitas or are unsure of a SW's age (as evidenced by Civ's friend). In particular, dead-ends near active strolls like Aurora and Pac Hwy can be quite hazardous: LE is probably aware of them and checks them when they have nothing better to do (I recall more than one news item about Kent cops rolling up on dates around the 3200 block of S 240th St--which is its terminus near the freeway).

Finally, I'm saddened to hear of the crackdown at the Redondo Square parking lot in Des Moines. While I have not posted before, I have been cruising for years, this lil crackdown will not stop anything.

I have seen this happen time and again. The hot young chicks like to work as a group. The find a place and tend to congregate. The first few discover that the area buisnesses dont care. They are tolerated. Then more filter in. Soon, you have a dozen girls roaming the area, lots of cars, a definate spectical. The lil' ol' church going ladies start complaining to the buisnesses. The businesses start calling the police. Soon the police feel obligated to make a big show of putting a stop to it.

I saw it happen up at 6th street in Seattle last summer.

For a short time, it was heaven on earth around there. Then one day I drive up, and there were 6 police cars and a van. Withen a week or two, the action was as it is now. The occasional lone girl or couple.

I expect that withen a couple of weeks the group around the redondo will move elsewhere. Things will go back to how it was a month or two ago.

The LE seem to tolerate single girls and couples. Provided they are not being obnoxious, or obviouly drugged out. And not in a recent area of attention and or time. I have seen LE stop girls in tacoma in front of the B&I repeatedly. But further south never seen it. Until a few weeks ago, some chick was strolling with almost nothing on and waving at cars. She got stopped.

Anyway, not to worry, LE cannot stop the trade. Its been going on since the dawn of time, and will continue forever.

Finally My Big Chance

Last night I finally had the opportunity to go out for a little cruisin'. I have had a terrible time getting away to enjoy the fruits of our fair city. I traveled north on 99 after taking a trip through the Denny/ AMP areas where there was absolutely nothing moving. I did not see one thing until the bus stop in front of the Blockbuster. Okay looking WSW, 5'-3", a little heavy, dark medium length hair, dressed fairly iconspicuously standing at the busstop. I pulled back around through the shopping strip and parked to make sure she was legit. I wasn't there for more than a minute when a little white sedan pulls in and flashes his lights and honks his horn. We are in a fairly busy parking lot and I'm thinking that this guy is a moron. I'm watching and she comes walking over and goes to the drivers window and they start their negotiations right there. They talk for about a minute and I start to think that I was wrong and she wasn't even working. As this whole thing is going on, another white sedan pulls up a few spaces away from them and he flashes his lights. She then wraps up her neg. with white sedan #1 and moves over the the drivers window of white sedan # 2. They negotiate a little faster and she moves around to the passenger door, gets in and off they go to complete the transaction.

When we allow providers to negotiate through an open driver's window or any window at all, we are giving up a very useful tool that we mongers have to protect ourselves against getting busted. Cops will not get in your car. If a potential date walks up to your drivers window and want's to talk with you through it, drive away! Of course if they don't have to get in, most won't because if it doesn't work out and a deal can't be struck, they have wasted their time. Do not give them that power. DRIVE AWAY.

Anyway, after that I saw nothing and went home. I was very disappointed as I do not get the opportunity very much lately. I may have to give up the hunt for a little while and call someone.

Anyway, have fun out there and try to not screw it up for the rest of us.

On the subject of safe in a parking lot. That the cops can't bust you on private property. Nope that won't work in your favor.

The courts have said, and the cops work under the rule of, "What you can see where you can legaly be, you can arrest for"

The cop can legaly enter the same parking lot, and if he can see a crime, any crime, he can make an arrest.

It works the same way for you when you take a photo of anyone. If you are legaly in a place and take a photo of someone you are safe from being sued.

I don't know if they have cracked down in the Redondo grill area or not but I was there last night (Monday evening) around 8:15 and the LE were all over the place with their bubble gums going like crazy. I picked up a latino lady there near the Shell on 272nd and Pac Hiway So with the lights going in my rear view mirror but across the parking lot on the East side of Pac Hiway. Very Very spookie. She was a very pretty young lady with YOUNG being the word to highlight here. I think she is the one reported on in here before) I was very leary and ask her if she had ID. RE: Good places to park.

There are no safe places to park near any of the strolls. Put some distance between you and any of the strolls and your safety increases exponentially. Civ2K’s buddy was caught right in the middle of ho country (one block from the ‘cane) so his risk factor was very high. If the girl wants to stay close to the stroll know that you are increasing your risk of being caught but the final decision is YOURS to make. If you want to drive a safe distance to feel more secure and she doesn’t like it, kick her to the curb.

I agree with Joint Action in that the further you get from the stroll the better. I used to love the Seattle Center parking garage as well, until a security guard came running towards my car. I drove out of the garage with my pants around my knees. This is in large part why I wear sweat pants now days.

For bj's the parking lot is usually the best bet. You can easily blend in, you can park where your field of vision is able to see anyone coming, and people usually don't give you a second glance. I usually park on the outer fringes of a lot where the employees would probably park. If a cop or other vehicle approaches (and if you're wearing sweats) you can be completely dressed in less than a second. Getting naked and having FS in a car is a bust waiting to happen no matter where you are -- get a room. Deadends are deadends...pun intended. The neighbors will call the cops and you will have no explanation for your presence there.

Thank you for writing your last post, Civ. We all need to keep in mind that prices are all flexible in a market economy, and every price posted shoulde be read with "YMMV" after it. I have frequently "overpaid" by the standards of the board, and I have occasionally "underpaid" ($.15 for FS from one of the better-known providers). It all depends on time, busy-ness, and the relationship with the provider. The one exception I can think of was Marlo in Tacoma who literally had a line at her door last summer, but kept her price schedule low. Of course, she was doing about four of us an hour, so she didn't have time to think about it. Oh, I miss Marlo!!

One sort-of exception locally is Ariel who doesn't read the board (unless she recently started). She quotes $.5 for a CBJ. In my experience she will not come down in price, but she will upgrade the service to h&h or FS. Monday evening about 7:40 cruised through the ID and saw nothing but a few white crack hos and two BSW’s that would barely rate a 2. The ID has definitely gone to hell and is no longer worth the price of gas IMHO. It’s really too bad as it used to be one of the better strolls in years gone by. It has lost its luster over the years but I have never seen it this depressing. Any of you long time mongers remember when you used to be able to find some real cuties and bring them up to the Panama Hotel?

Next I checked out Belltown, The ‘Cane and Denny Park. Saw a fairly decent looking white girl being harassed by three bike cops on Bell between 2nd and 3rd. Also saw a couple of thugs get jacked up on Blanchard between 4th & 5th by five Seattle PD cars and one King County. There were a few WSW’s in Belltwon and two by Denny Park but the quality was no better than a three. Probably wasn’t in the right frame of mind tonight as I didn’t even go up Aurora and check out the eye candy.

Hi everyone, I'm a new poster but I've been a lurker for a while. I've got a couple of reports to give.

Around the first week of march I was headed south from lynnwood and decided to take a trip down aurora, when I got near the 7-11 I saw what seemed to be a nice looking busty redhead. It's been my impression that the King County Sheriffs don't do prostitution enforcement in Seattle--or at least in areas well beyond the city limits like downtown. Can any other johns who live in Seattle or drive its streets daily confirm whether this is common? I've seen news articles recently about King County trying to get Seattle and other cities to annex the neighboring unincorporated areas of Skyway and White Center - Boulevard Park because its resources (including LE) are stretched too thin, so it doesn't make sense to me why KC deputies would be doing misdemeanor busts deep within Seattle.

Uncirc, My experience has been that the King County police only operate in the city limits to provide security for metro buses. I frequently see them driving right behind the buses and they ignore traffic infractions and everything else. I guess if a metro driver calls to report a roudy passenger they will follow and wait for the guy to get off.

I have heard of Seattle frequently going outside it's department to procure undercover decoys for it's sting operations with the rationale being they don't want the decoy to be recognized.

Yes to both with a couple of additions. KCPD is active in the South Park area which, technically, is inside the city but just barely. They also occasionally do patrols on state highways that happen to pass thru the city (Aurora/99 being the major one) and they seem to use Denny as a connection between I-5 and 99 which, I think, is what Fremont Guy saw.

But absent a joint action (like a drug bust in South Park) they do not make arrests inside the city, although they can. On the other hand, it's a good idea to give them a wide berth because I don't want to be the one to discover that the policy has changed.

The departments do, however, often swap decoys of both genders for sting operations.

The roust that I was referring to involving the King County car was probably drug or street crime related by the looks of the players. The KC car was facing the wrong way on Blanchard and looked to have been one of the first on the scene.

My understanding is that SPD does their own vise work inside of the city limits and KC does theirs in the unincorporated areas and in areas where they have support agreements with local LE. The exception to this being drug enforcement where everyone cooperates and multi-jurisdictional task forces are common.

Today heading south on Pacific Hiway in Kent-Des Moines, on the right side near the Les Sweab Tires store a good looking say a 7-9 looks like 20-26 blonde was slowly walking towards north bound to am-pm next to Des Moines Community College. I was visiting you wonderful state last week (Friday) and almost got busted by LE. After reading your reports went to Pacific Highway near Des Moines light. My experience at least the week I was in Seattle was not a good one. I have to say that Denver Miami Baltimore Philadelphia and New Jersey have better pickings and not as many LE.

Joint, For prostitution sting operations the city often uses non-SPD personnel so that prospective "Johns" don't recognize the decoy. I've heard that they bring in decoys from as far away as Portland and Olympia on occaision. Apparently there are not too many "babes" on the SPD and they would run out of decoys after a couple or three stings. That's partially the reason they don't run john stings too often: Too expensive and too much hassle and the guys they really want to catch (like me) know that decoys won't get into your car: too dangerous.

MrPeepers, Most of the sleazy motels in a coherced effort to cooperate with police have a written policy posted on the wall in their office stating that all guests must register with the office and the ID of all visitors must be on file in the office. While I don't think they would or could haul you to jail for this, I do believe they can evict you from your room without refunding your money.

Corky, You are one lucky guy. I'm assuming that you were driving a rental car and the police probably thought just scaring the shit out of you was enough, so they focused their attention on the SW. Once again, parking on a dead end road near an abandoned house was a bad idea. Try explaining to the officer that "you don't know her" and that "you were doing nothing illegal", just parked on a dead end street talking to a known prostitute. Thirty dollars is not unreasonable for bbbj from a nice looking SW. Some times the action is better than others in Seattle. Come back in July and you might see a lot more action.

I guess the cops are a lot more persistent in Seattle. Personally I have found parking on a dead end street works quite well. The big advantage if you go where there is very few cars it makes it extremely hard if not impossible for the cops to follow you. Secondly even if the cops stop you and you are dressed there is not much they can do.
