There are some obvious "pros" on there, but not many. I just avoided them when about all they said was FWB and mentioned money. Really pretty girls that pretty much only said "luxury lifestyle" got passed over too. But hey, casting one's line gives possibility. You can't win if you don't fish. For me it was a time availability thing so some had to be evaluated for likely replies and some passed over.
I did send out about 89 messages to girls. Got many replies (didn't count those) but ended up with around 26 phone / text numbers, so about 29%. It takes a good bit of time to weed through the plutonic seekers, the "send me money for pictures" people, and the true scam artists. And then there's the humor of seeing the profile of someone that you know in civilian life! Lots of part-timers, I. E. Non-pros, and that's actually a plus. Be sure to record important information from your contact messages because after your membership lapses, most of your on site conversations are unavailable to you. The rates ranged from 1. 5 to 6. 0 with my contacts. I found that most of the women (30%) I saw or contacted online were beginners, amateurs, or under the radar (UTR) looking to exchange something to get money for some situation or crisis in which they found themselves. I was looking for that type of person. A small percentage (20%) were pros like you meet anywhere mongering, who really don't want to devote the time it takes to manage a profile online and it was easy to figure out their status after a few short messages. You can deal with them or not like always. A similar small percentage appeared to be actual SB types or SB wannabes looking for an ongoing relationship with one or more guys for some combination of money or gifts or dates. The rest were a mix of experimenters, fuck toys, video saleswomen, and loons. I was "Favorited" by a lot of women in foreign countries and I must say I was very popular in Venezuela and parts of Russia. A lot of women from far away states contact you.
I contacted and corresponded with around 30 women in 2 months. As soon as possible after developing a contact I moved us to something off of the site like a burner email or phone. As soon as possible I tell them what I want exactly (I have tastes) and get them to say yes or no they can do what I want and negotiate a rate. If it's not what I want I go on to the next one because there is a next one. I'm both friendly and direct. There were 3 women who only wanted to message now and again on the site and I let that die out. I was rejected by 7 after a few messages and my refusal to send them money immediately by some digital method. Another 10 or so stopped responding after I pressed for an in-person-meeting. One woman became my pen pal and seemed to want a lover or boyfriend instead of a SD even though we sent over 25 messages online. It was fun but I finally got her to see the point of why I was there and made her agree we weren't a match. Another 4, mostly younger women in their early 20's had GPS and after some brief discussions about rate, I declined. (Actually one of them I may revisit soon). I scheduled 3 meetings in which I was ghosted on the way to or on the day of the meeting.
I had 5 in person meetings. Meeting 1 (amateur) went well but the 20's woman didn't match the pictures by 100 pounds or so and I did not continue that contact. Meeting 2 (loon) was a 20's woman way too good looking for me who I've had in the FC a handful of times and the sex just isn't good. So, to sum up my See King SB experience if your expectations are realistic (like one or two quality contacts) you might find it worthwhile. In my case, I found more than enough to keep me busy for some time. As has been said by others here if you know what you want, have some patience, and follow a set of rules for contact using a SB / SD site can work out for you.

I think when one says, "I got to learn to NOT pay upfront" as a conclusion to a bad date, they are stopping short and cheating them self of a chance to learn & grow as a monger. For me the light went on when I learned some methods / techniques on "how to" not pay up front. Cephalapod Love has a good discussion in his rules thread that helped me greatly. Basically identifying why she wants $ upfront and trying to remove those fears from the current situation. Showing you have the money and giving it up (sort of) but not giving up control, can work wonders.
But there is always more to one of these stories that warrants examination. I am reminded that I once read a book by a dude named Col David Hackworth. Dude was a savant when it came to wins at during the Viet Nam war. The secret to his success was that after every battle, his team (troops & all) sat down and reviewed what happened in the heat of the battle. Of course there were different views as each guy saw something different, but eventually they developed a picture of how Charlie operated and from that they developed a strategy that was successful and greatly increased their kill rate and lowered their casualties.
So I have found that a bit of self review of the situation can help avoid future issues. Had to learn not to beat myself up! It happens to all of us. But answering a few questions, can be a start to learning & growth:
* What were the warning signs?
* What other things added to the situation?
* What factors lead me to not see the red flags?
* For each red flag I find in hindsight, what could I have done differently?
* What other techniques could I use?
It is never as simple as "no sugar until the panties hit the floor" so beating myself up on just that, negates my opportunity to look back, find red flags, learn from them and look for alternate approaches.
So some food for thought, from my experiences. All fwiw.
