They were open tonight, only had 2 v-hostesses, one dark-skinned and one fair-skinned, both were a little full-figured and well into their 30's, kinda good-looking for v-bar girls. Huh? Your logic escapes me. The bar owners love the machines. Who spends the most time playing the video poker machines? The girls do. Think about it. The bar sells you drinks for yourself and ladies drinks. They make money. The girls get a portion of the money from the ladies drinks. They then lose all that money back to the bar owner in the poker machine. The bar owner cleans up. And as Shipshape pointed out, when LE come in to investigate gambling, they'll also be looking for prostitution offenses, drugs, and anything else they can find while they're there. Remember, only play the sluts, er, I mean the slots, in the backrooms, never the ones on the bar.

CC, I heard that Mailee is not working at hostess bars anymore, but at one of the Vietnamese owned AMPs because she wasn't making money as a hostess. The only Vietnamese owned AMP I know of is Pacific Spa.

It is probably a 50-50 split, but I think it should favor the bar more as they are the ones taking the risk. They are the ones housing the machines and are the ones that payout the customers with the high scores and those paper receipts.

Lyna sold the Master Lease for Asia to Jackie about 3 years ago. Jackie is trying to find a buyer, but no one interested. LC suspended Asia's license for 1 week for failure to pay taxes. I also hear that Mystique is facing a 2 day suspension for failure to pay taxes.
Went there over the weekend and what happened to the playful gals? They left for another bar or is it some sort of Asian holiday back in their country?
And then I went to walk to Asia and it was closed. Went back to the parking lot and looked at All Star and said forget it and went home.

What you don't like bad girls? I for one gravitate toward places where both smokers and non-smokers are welcome and that's where you'll find me. It's a private bar as well as a civil liberties issue. I don't feel bad about lighting up in bars that are cool with it because there are plenty of non-smoking bars for those who have issues with differing lifestyles. Getting rained on in the parking lot is just plain lame.
As for enforcement of the "ban", insiders know that it is a comedy of errors. A badly written law, an incompetent health dept., those who want to enforce it have gotten busted for lying in print, the AG and Ombudman's office had to crack down on false statements circulated by a rogue deputy AG, and much more. The fact of the matter is that the ban can't be enforced and the openly dishonost health dept. has only served to keep it going. Smoke'em if you got'em. Of course the health dept. aways says enforcement is just around the corner. They've been saying this junk for almost four years. You need chapter 91 to try to enforce the ban health dept. and you don't have it done, do you.

It is Christy. Went back on Wed. After turning down Jenny again, Christy came by. A couple drinks in the booth had lots of play. Went to the room for $$. BBBJ was really nice. Well the thing about an AMP is it's a sure guarantee that you'll get FS. I know most would say that it's a good thing because at least you know what you are getting for that $$. However, the bad thing about it is that it's too predictable already. It's a sure thing you will get FS for $$. But, the fact that it's a sure thing, there's no mystery behind it and there is no challenge also. Not every monger will get the exact same service from the same provider but, the fact is, he will get FS in the end. Also, it's too fast. You go in there, pay the 50 dollar HF, go shower if you want, lie on the bed and she freshens up and then you guys get down to business. 45 min - 1hr, you're out of there.
Now, in the case with the hostess bars, it's the mystery and the challenge. The mystery behind it is that you are not sure what to expect from her. The challenge is to see how far you can go with her. Plus, I would say you get more of a GFE when you sit with a hostess. She's dressed nice & sexy, you sit next to her and hold her, she would kiss you on the lips and makes out with you. It feels nice because it's something that has more of an intimate feeling as oppose to an AMP. They should lower the price. You bring up a very good point on the older/chubbier/uglier, why pay more when you can go to an AMP and see someone who is younger and better looking. I know I stated earlier that some guys want the GFE and the challenge at a hostess bar but, if you look old or is old, chubbier and unattractive, then I think mongers will just buy you a drink as a pity drink for you to stay away. Sometimes "Soda X" is better than "Soda A". For me, it is a rarity to get FS in a KB room, so it can be more exciting than the mechanism of an AMP. I have never gone to a VB room because I always seem to get quoted 600.

This is the uber Viet bar. All viets. Viet karaoka. At 11 on the volume dial! Two viet men at the bar. Talked to Jennifer. But she does not speak much english. Now Ellie. Who is half Viet does speak English well and HAS some GREAT boobs. Wow! Other than that. Dead too. No action. Just ROBs looking for money. However, they will drink alcohol. $20 for the 7 oz. Beer and $40 for a pony shot of liquour.
Club Hollywood got raided thursday night about 11pm 10 cops and two LI, so BS they took photos of everyone and the video gaming machines. And guess what they arrested one girl for consuming alcohol and touching a customers leg and arm they stated that touching of any kind is illegal BS there was two plain clothes cops drinking and took the girl that if you don't drink Alcohol they would not buy any drinks. They never touched the 5 video gaming machines, even thought the place last week in china town had all the machines taken when discovered in an unrelated complaint. more BS smells of a payoff Chief Kealoha needs to clean house. What a waste of tax payer money 12 City employees -10 cops two LI 4 vehicles for a BS arrest. It must have cost us over $3,000 for a 8hr work day for these guys. I wonder what they did for the rest of the night sleep? Than there is court dates, more BS in tax dollars they should be rounding up the drug dealers, gambling houses and the organized crime heads not ruining a night for hard working girls and customers. I for one could never be a bar girl!

Stopped by JR Lounge on the 26th to have a drink. Kathy was in the bar. She normally works at Club Sun on Cummins street which is closed on Sundays. Bought her a drink at the bar. We sat apart. One empty bar stool between us. Chatted some....Then they really started yelling. Kathy the boyfriend and the owner. Owner kicked the Viet man out of the bar. He came outside. Mumbled something to me. Started to walk off. Then circled back and hit in the head from behind. I walked away. Turned told him to stop. And what was his problem. I did not know him. He circled around. Pulled out a gel pin and attempted to stab me while punching me. Told him to knock it off. Or I would really hurt him. He then jumped up and kicked me......Police came and report filed....Lesson. Many of these Viet women have a real true blooded Viet man stashed somewhere. If not a Viet. Then some other man.
