When she finally answered after the 3rd time while I am there she says she is no longer working. I ask her why did she tell me 30 minutes before to drive 30 minutes to her. She just hangs up.

This is a very interesting and sticky one. I have mixed feelings as the exact same thing happened to me last night, the third time in a week with providers that had some positive feedback somewhere. Everything was the same, I actually arranged the meeting with a provider the day before, she told me she would be available. I called her the next evening, left a voicemail thinking maybe she wasn't available and told her I was sorry I missed her and asked her to call me and we could possibly set up something in the future. She called back a few minutes later, told me she was available and I told her I could be there in 30 minutes, she told me that was cool. I called her when I got to the area and of course same thing....voicemail, called a few more times within 30 minutes in case she was on a call but still nothing but voicemail!! Now if you guys think about that, a 30 minute drive on a weekend night is a long distance like the Valley to LAX or West LA to the OC. Had a couple of backups but of course I had not scheduled anthing with them (didn't want to flake on them) and they were not available. Had to come home and start from scratch, seeing who was available so yes I was highly pissed off. Yes Marlowe things do come up but wouldn't it make more sense for a provider to simply answer the phone, tell the guy that something did come up, apologize and offer to make it up to him next time. Is that too much to ask? And that will also end the numerous calls and bashing she will receive on sites like this and CL. It doesn't take a Harvard MBA to realize that is bad business and NOBODY likes to get hung up on, if that was the case she had a perfect opportunity to at least give him a believable lie!! I think we are beating up on Rookie9183 a bit too much, isn't this site about providing info on the service providers give? If the provider in question realizes that if she does this people will know about it, she can be questioned about it and if it did in fact happened maybe she will handle the situation differently next time. I've been stood up by several providers before but until last week all of them called, apologized and I was able to see them later and had a great time with them all.

Thought I'd ad my 2 cents to the "flake-out" discussion.....

Have you all noticed how many of the provider ads ask respondents "PLEASE BE SERIOUS!" Or, how for incalls, the "2-call plan" is usually in effect: "Call me AGAIN when you get there." This is because those (not us USSG guys of course! LOL) who make the calls to provider ads are a whole lot more "flakey" than the providers! Providers have told me that callers will ask a lot of questions, then make an appointment and don't ever show. This is why the provider asks a caller to confirm that they've arrived at the incall location before giving the details. At least for the first time callers.

I've asked a lot of providers about this and some have said that MOST of the callers who make an appointment never show up!

So, while it's true that it's a common thing for us to make an appointment, drive to a location and then get the voicemail....the knife cuts both ways! And from what I gather from my favorite providers, the monger side of the equation is a lot more "flakey" than the providers side.

Like someone has already said, YMMV. You can never be absolutely certain your appointment will be honored. Lower your expectations. Accept delays and wasted time as part of the deal. This is the cost of doing business!

My own rules: Don't drive too far to see a first-time provider. Avoid driving the 405 during rush hour for a first time appointment. And if you do, be sure you have a few other numbers on hand for the area.

Since it appears that this is something that has happened before, maybe somebody who has seen her that she trusts can give her some advice in dealing with hobbyists, I have seen some providers lie like a rug when I was with them but never have problems, one girl said watch this as she answered her phone and told a hobbyist someone told her Pastor what she was doing and he was there now doing an intervention and passed me the fucking phone, the poor guy hung up as soon as I said hello!! She said she saw him later that week. If she is a solid provider as some have indicated she should know that these things do surface and may affect her rep. Oh some guys have no choice to make a drive, all you can do is have a lot of backups if you travel long distances and frequent an area where there are a large concentration of providers.

Baldy's post made her sound great (and I would guess she was great for Baldy), but I didn't want her to keep her great repuation after her disrespect to me. I try to ALWAYS respect these women as human beings and try to be nice to them. But, I expect respect back. She flaked on me and could have apologized (believe it or not I would have accepted a sincere apology and not criticized her) or she could have lied and said something like Marlowe said maybe happened, but she didn't. She flaked AND was a *****. I thought the members of this board would appreciate this info and it sounds like some did. I know that a lot of guys flake on providers, but two wrongs don't make a right. Just because guys flake on them, doesn't mean it's OK in return.

There's an old saying that the customer is always right. While that can be taken to the extreme, a tit for tat attitude is not professional.

Personally, I have found that provider flaking on craigslist has gotten way out of control recently. I'm finding at least 2/3 of the time that I get flaked on.

That's a lot of time wasted, and IMO if providers are gonna waste our time and jerk us around like civies, then there really is no reason to see them. The
supposed advantage of seeing providers IMO, is that it's a way to get some female interaction without all the drama of having a GF.

Therefore, I would strongly argue that providers that flake or play games or produce drama should be outed. Let the customer decide if he wants to deal with it. Knowledge is power. Please don't supress it.

Record 1 Million Cases of Chlamydia Reported in the U.S. Last Year

More than 1 million cases of chlamydia were reported in the United States last year — the most ever reported for a sexually transmitted disease, federal health officials said Tuesday.

"A new U.S. record," said Dr. John M. Douglas Jr. of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

More bad news: Gonorrhea rates are jumping again after hitting a record low, and an increasing number of cases are caused by a "superbug" version resistant to common antibiotics, federal officials said Tuesday.

Syphilis is rising, too. The rate of congenital syphilis — which can deform or kill babies — rose for the first time in 15 years.

"Hopefully we will not see this turn into a trend," said Dr. Khalil Ghanem, an infectious diseases specialist at Johns Hopkins University's School of medicine.

The CDC releases a report each year on chlamydia, gonorrhea and syphilis, three diseases caused by sexually transmitted bacteria.

Chlamydia is the most common. Nearly 1,031,000 cases were reported last year, up from 976,000 the year before.

The count broke the single-year record for reported cases of a sexually transmitted disease, which was 1,013,436 cases of gonorrhea, set in 1978.

Putting those numbers into rates, there were about 349 cases of chlamydia per 100,000 people in 2006, up 5.6 percent from the 329 per 100,000 rate in 2005.

CDC officials say the chlamydia record may not be all bad news: They think the higher number is largely a result of better and more intensive screening.

For more than 10 years, the CDC has recommended annual screening in sexually active women ages 15 to 25. Meanwhile, urine and swab tests for the bacteria are getting better and are used more often, for men as well as women, said Douglas, director of the CDC's Division of Sexually Transmitted Disease Prevention.

About three-quarters of women infected with chlamydia have no symptoms. Left untreated, the infection can spread and ultimately can lead to infertility. It's easily treated if caught early.

Health officials believe as many as 2.8 million new cases may actually be occurring each year, he added.

Gonorrhea is a different story.

In 2004, the nation's gonorrhea rate fell to 113.5 cases per 100,000 people in 2004, the lowest level since the government started tracking cases in 1941.

But since then, health officials have seen two consecutive years of increases. The 2006 rate — about 121 per 100,000 — represents a 5.5 percent increase from 2005.

Health officials don't know exactly how many superbug cases there were among the more than 358,000 gonorrhea cases reported in 2006. But a surveillance project of 28 cities found that 14 percent were resistant to ciprofloxacin and other medicines in the fluoroquinolones class of antibiotics.

Similar samples found that 9 percent were resistant to those antibiotics in 2005, and 7 percent were resistant in 2004. The appearance of the superbug has been previously reported, and the CDC is April advised doctors to stop using those drugs against gonorrhea.

Douglas said it doesn't look like the superbugs are the reason for gonorrhea's escalating numbers overall, but they're not sure what is driving the increase.

Other doctors are worried. The superbug gonorrhea has been on the rise not only in California and Hawaii, where the problem has been most noticeable, but also in the South and parts of the Midwest.

"Suddenly we're starting to see the spread," Ghanem said.

Syphilis, a potentially deadly disease that first shows up as genital sores, has become relatively rare in the United States. About 9,800 cases of the most contagious forms or syphilis were reported in 2006, up from about 8,700 in 2005.

The rate rose from 2.9 cases per 100,000 people to 3.3, a 14 percent increase.

For congenital syphilis, in which babies get syphilis from their mothers, the rate rose only slightly from the previous year to 8.5 cases per 100,000 live births.

Answer 2: From my limited knowledge on the subject. If the girl doesn't advertise multiples, or pops, then she is a 1 pop gal, regardless of the time you spend with her. Multiples are extra. Can't help you with the negotiating or pricing, since I don't have much experience (only been with 1 provider so far. Can't afford them. I feel you on the economic constraints! ). It's better to get the quickie or half, so you can see what the gal is like and if she does do mutlies in the hour. I think that once you get to know each other, they'll be more willing to negotiate.

Answer 3: The reason the text is there and usually it blends in with the background, is so that whey you do a search on say "indian", looking for an indian girl, the ad will result in a hit because it has "cowboy and indian". It's just a tactic used to get more views on the ad. I've seen it used on both ROBs and legit girls. I think it depends on who does the ad posting. If they use as service, then it will probably have the text.

Just do your homework to see if they are legit. Google the number and then check the other sites out there for reviews/comments on the girl.

The BoobIn response to #2, an hour long rate should generally include a second pop.

SOME women though, will pull a twist on you, if you let them, so I personally ALWAYS confirm this before hand.

I don't use graphic language though, I simply ask something like "can I get a second cup of coffee, if I spill the first one as soon as I see you, because you are so hot? ".

Sometimes they won't be sure what I'm asking, so I'll continue to ask in a non-direct way, but if I feel they are not too uptight, I'll come straight out and ask.

Do some research, google her phone number, search TER and look for any info on that provider. It's usually a good idea not to see a provider if you can't find one piece of info about her online. You are asking all the wrong questions. Seriously. All that stuff is what LE might ask. Not that I'm accusing you of anything...I'm definitely not. But you have much more homework to do. Asking girls questions about donations will get you in trouble eventually. Not being able to figure out what is legit and what isn't will also get you into trouble.

I will give you a bit of help. Forget about seeing 80-90% of the girls on CL. The real workers are there, but most of that stuff is ads by an agency. I can't automatically describe what an agency ad is supposed to look like. But I can spot it every single time. So can the other guys here. So never ever get your heart set on seeing someone before verifying.

You can follow one of two routes as far as I can tell. You can go see whomever Baldy has seen. Thats legit...Baldy's as legit as it can get. Whatever he says it is. But that limits the number of girls you can see and as Baldy tends towards the girls with darker skins, also limits options.

Or you can do more homework. There are other review sites out there ya know. It sometimes doesn't hurt to plop down a few bucks for a month and scout out things and get used to how things work. Those sites tend to list donation amounts and exact services provided. I don't ever TOFTT off cl and never see an unreviewed girl. I've taken enough for the team on the streets. I don't need to be messing with enemies I can't see.

One more thing...google is your friend. Phone numbers can be entered into google. If a number comes back with no matches...move along.
