Snapped the chain and went wandering under the "L" one recent evening. The pickings were not as plentiful as they sometimes are and the local constabulary made their considerable presence very obvious.

Is it me or is Philly going down hill. Other than the AMP, there isn't a place to go anymore. In the 90s there were places like The Golden Touch 1/2 hour for $65.00. That particular night I had gone to what at one time was my "usual" "safe" spot that had worked well for me on many occations. I allways took the approach of "hiding in plain sight" by leaving the engine on and the lights on, I figured if you don't look like your trying to hide people wont think you doing anything wrong. On this particular night I think someone called the boys on me, they rolled up behind me about 100 yards back just as I was putting the truck in gear (fortuanatly we were done), then that really bright spotlight came on, that's when that sick sinking feeling hits you, you know what I mean if this has ever happened to you.
I was able to convince the officer that me and my lady friend we simply having a heated disscussion that propmted me to pull off to road to this somewhat secluded location and that we were just leaving. I was told I had no buisness being there but since we were not actually doing anything that they could see, was just told to leave the area.
You don't have to tell me twice and from that point on that spot was off the list. I have since found another spot away from the K that I like, but rarely use as I am mainly a 1 girl man now and we just go to my place.
