So, I live in Tacoma and wanted to go to aurora. I know some of you have said "it is not worth the drive" and things like that. Honestly, I just wanted to go see if AA was real and see SW walking around and didn't mind a 50-60 min drive just to look as I didn't have anything going on that day. I didn't think the posts were lying and I had seen some of the YouTube clips posted here. But seeing is believing.
I got to aurora just as it got dark (I think around 7:30). I started on 78th (I didn't know where to start looking) and went north remembering the area I saw on those clips. Immediately saw swr's LOL. I was driving back and forth for an hour. I'd say the first 30 minutes was me just looking to see how many there were and to get an idea of the selection. I was shocked to see that a lot of them were decent looking.
After 30 minutes I finally said to myself, "fuck it. I drove all this way, spent all this time here, there's a decent selection. I am going to pick one up. " I saw a few that I wanted to pick up. Even before deciding that I was going to pick anyone up. I could not get the courage to stop. Every time I was about to turn into an area, I just kept driving. Maybe I'd see another and do the same thing. Then I'd turn around and repeat. I was obviously concerned about catching something, getting robbed, attacked etc. I am sure many of you have felt the same. My main worry though was that they were undercover or working with LE. Especially considering that they looked decent. Even though I am a newbie, I at least know better than to talk $ LOL. But even then I was too nervous just to talk to one when they approach my car, let alone in my car, or after we've gone somewhere and had the session.
I finally gained enough courage and pulled into an area and one came over to my passenger side. I was going to ask her if she wanted a ride and when she got in and we left is when I was going to talk rates. I asked her if wanted a ride (still super nervous) and she asked if I wanted a date. I've been seen as the good boy that can do no wrong. Maybe these are reasons why I am so paranoid. Maybe it's because I'm afraid of what people might think of me if I get caught. Why does your car stick out like a sore thumb, what kind of car do you drive.
No matter how many times you drive AA its not easy to pick anyone up. Do remember the risk / reward and if a bust on your record will stop current or future job prospects or the loss of privileges like Nexus, Sentri, Global Entry.
I don't think its worth it and try as In I don't take my own advice sometimes.
Stick to the well known agencies in Seattle or go up to Vancouver BC for a sex tourism trip.

If you're this nervous, don't do it, there's no amazing experience or trophy that awaits you at the end.
The only benefit in picking up SWs is that you see who's available and what they actually look like, and it used to be quite cheaper than incalls.
If you don't enjoy talking and negotiating with them, picking a secluded spot, etc. But you're rather more anxious and afraid of those steps, don't do it.
Yes, it can be a fun game, but it has risks (LE, mostly).
If you can afford providers with decent incalls, do that. Over time you can build a rapport with some of them and and gain all the conveniences of the hobby with none of the hassle, your ATFs.

The biggest risk to you on Aurora is getting into a car accident while you're cruising the stroll. I read a recent stat which stated that Aurora Ave is Seattle's most dangerous roadway. It's especially dangerous for pedestrians, which means the chances of your being involved in a car-pedestrian accident are high. I honestly think that's our biggest risk out there. Robberies and beatdowns do happen, but those incidents involving johns really don't seem to be common. I'm not sure how much of that stuff gets reported though so take that lightly. If you do get robbed, more than likely it will be a scenario where a girl gets your money and then says she doesn't have condoms or something and sends you out of the room and then locks the door. I don't even know how common that is. There's a lot of complaining about the service from a lot of the girls out there these past couple of years (I'm guilty of that) but they do seem to ultimately deliver, they just might not do so with a smile nor a great attitude and with very mediocre results for the rates they charge, but they do deliver. It also really depends upon your preferences, expectations, past experience and what you like. I just think the service which exists out there right now happens to be the same as fucking a rock but that's based upon my past experiences.
The things which I worry about the most these days are girls passing-out in my car and / or dying, illegal drugs in the car, her suddenly getting sick and vomiting all over, spilling drinks, etc. That kind of stuff. Same. I rarely go out to Aurora anymore as I'm very engaged in my other hobbies but I did go check it out last night. Not many SWs out at all and most of those were standing in front of the Emerald motel. I saw zero around Lowe's after a few passes. There are some lookers out there and nobody has ever denied that. I was driving down Aurora today around lunch time and I saw a BSW (Nova) near 95th who was actually bottomless. She was wearing tight black stretch pants with the front and back cut out. Unless you have other business in Seattle, I wouldn't travel out here just for Aurora. You'll be disappointed. The hos all look good out here but that's all it is, an image to hook you in. I've seen a lot of complaints about how overly-dressed most of the hookers here are, but that's just a tool which they use to get your money. You'll get a very limited menu, 15 minutes or less of time, no smiles, sometimes even restricted touching and possibly an attitude in a run-down motel room for a more money than she and the experience are worth. Go to a city on the east coast and visit a strip club, you'll probably have a better experience. You'll notice that actual reports about dates have dropped to almost being non-existent in here, that's because I don't think most of us who live here are really picking any of these hookers up these days. Went out last night around 7-8 pm. A lot less girls out there. Girls were clustered in 2 areas, buy the motels and also at 138th. Maybe a total around 10-12 girls. First time I didn't see any girls at KK or Firestone area.
I took the scenic route down Aurora from Shoreline south around 8 pm on Wednesday night and saw a handful of SWs walking between 95th and 90th. Three looked pretty good. I was able to get away for a few dedicated hours the other night and met Latina Bonnie near Chick-Fil-A. Spinner, wearing only a thong and sparkly bikini top like some showgirl in the cold and rain. Sort of going off-topic for the forum here, but I have a friend who is from Colombia and he's really struggling here in Seattle area, barely getting by. However, he just bought a brand new townhouse which is under construction in city center Medellin. He showed me the plans and it's going to be really nice. He can't do shit up here but he's able to do that down there. He keeps telling me that I should buy-in. I looked into Medellin and it's rapidly changing, becoming the IT capitol of South America, among other things. They're building a bunch of mass-transit projects, etc. I also like the Amazon region, if you haven't been then you should look into that, absolutely fascinating down there. There are remote tribes of people who have very limited contact with the outside world. Hire yourself a guide who knows the region and go deep into the forest, you'll never forget that experience.
