One street over from the main road (I believe it's 15th Ave SW. The street with Bartells) is where you will generally find them, but they will be various spots throughout the night. As far down as the 7/11 on Delridge. $30 for BBBJ. There are scary people out there too so watch yourself. What if it was your mother, daughter or sister?I actually do think your concerns and compassion are entirely valid. However, we're not the person who put them in their situation. We're certainly taking advantage of them, but even if we didn't they would still be in the same situation. Maybe I'm splitting hairs and rationalizing, but that's just reality. In fact, if we didn't solicit them they would probably engage in more serious, real crime like theft and robbery.

I used to see an Asian polyglot SW named Niah semi-regularly. She was a reliable provider who provided great service, and generally seemed like a nice person who never tried to rip me off or scam me, though she could be moody and I think she was a user. Several months ago another SW told me she was arrested for shoplifting. Since she had multiple offenses she'll be in prison for at least a few months. You can offer help, but at the end of the day only they can change the situation and accept the help. That is definitely not a healthy relationship. If you fell in love with a drug addicted hooker, first you have to ask yourself if you're really in love with her or you're just lonely and desperate. Then ask yourself if she is willing to change and accept help. Offer to take her to counseling, anonimous group meetings etc. If she doesn't take the help and doesn't want to change I would walk away and not look back.

I usually loop around there just to check but really haven't seen much lately. Usually, the time would be about 11 PM to 3 AM. Generally, you will find them (in order) 15th and the side streets up to the park. 16th (the main street) getting out and walking helps alot here, then 14th (east of 15) and then 17th (west of 16). For a few months the shopping center was also a good spot (homeless women looking for dates / cash). Since a good friend of mine owns one of the bars that I've encountered working girls in, I'm not going to give a name, but I will tell you there are 3 dive bars there and I've encountered working girls in 2 of them. If she doesn't have mutual feelings for you, be very, very careful for your sake and hers.

Many prostitutes grow up in abusive, neglectful, or otherwise emotionally deficient situations. Consider what the long-term psychological effects are. If she was abused growing up by someone who was supposed to love and nurture her (father, stepfather, uncle, brother, etc.), she might now as an adult have a really warped perception of what love. This perception might be unconscious. She might perceive the abuse by her pimp / boyfriend as love. I know that might be difficult to believe, and it's sad and warped, and I'm just speculating, but that is the psychology of many woman who remain in abusive relationships.

As other posters have mentioned, ultimately she's the one must take the initiative to leave the abusive relationship. If this eventually happens I think it's fine for you to offer her reasonable help, but for right now be very, very careful with your own feelings. Since she doesn't have the same feeling for you, carefully consider how far you're willing to go. For now I would say it's fine to let her know that if she really wants to change her situation and leave both her pimp/boyfriend and prostitution you are willing to help her, but only if she's serious. If she tells you she is make certain she is, then both of you need to figure out a plan together. There are probably social service agencies who can provide her with resources and counseling. Contact the Seattle Dept of Human Services for more info if and when you think she's truly ready to change.

She keeps the gangs and their trouble outside. But, they hang right outside selling drugs, or whatever they stole that week. You don't want to get wasted and walk away from there. The bar is gay friendly, so you encounter a few lesbians and gay guys. The lesbians will kick your ass in a second. The only thing I can say is if you go alone, are not creepy and can talk to people then you will find the women that are working. Some of the other working women you will know instantly if you have a decent hodar. Tara will kick out anyone that is obviously in there trolling for men. Most of the working girls that stop in there are ugly. But you can talk to them and figure out if it's worthwhile for you.

Yes, they will want VIP prices. This is what I do in other cities, find the person you want on Backpage that does outcall. Tell them you are staying downtown and don't mention what hotel. Ask to meet them at some bar for a drink and then take them back to your hotel. This way they don't know where you're staying. In one city, I told them I would give them $50 to meet me, if they didn't like me or I didn't like them, they could walk with the $50; if we liked each other we could discuss the rate. I gave them the envelope with $50 the minute they sat down. When I determined that the person wasn't going to be trouble and she looked like her picture, I said, "I'm ready to leave. I have $150 do you want to come with me?" Note: I did not mention pay for play. You can do whatever you feel comfortable paying. Getting downtown and parking is such a pain in the ass $50 may not be enough. But remember, once she meets you and has her "go away" money, you have her hooked. She is very unlikely to turn down $150 or $200 more dollars for someone that is 2 feet away, that she already met and determined is not a threat.

I don't know what you look like, but the other option is to put on a suit and go to the one of the hotels downtown that have a busy bar where people from outside the hotel go. I haven't been downtown in a few years but the bar at the "W" Hotel used to be a place where a man in a suit could have a drink by himself and encounter a working girl sitting by herself. The bar at the Sheridan was another; your hotel isn't one of them.

If you're just the slightest bit attractive and can handle rejection then just go to the bars in Seattle and talk to women. Inflate your job status, let them know that you're staying at the Fairmont, buy them drinks. You'll be surprised at what you'll pull in. The hipster women flee when an 70 YO black man walks up to them and tell them how fine their ass is. If they complain, the response would be, "tell him to go away. " The hipster guys will leave broke because they won't know how to say "no" when a woman asks them to buy her a drink and then orders a double shot of crown with a $10 chaser. Yes, the shooting was outside. It was gang-related (I mentioned she keeps the trouble outside; but they are RIGHT outside). I just wish the action would pick up in SD and Socal.It's not just AA, but other parts of SR-99 (Everett in the north, Federal Way in the south) seem like the perfect storm for SWs. It has a high traffic volume, but many sections are also commercial strips with many signaled intersections and ample places to pull off. And since it's generally not an appealing roadway most people in the area are relatively poor.

Tried the drive a recent Friday night around 8 pm from SeaTac up to the Fred Meyers in Des Moines, sadly so little action. I agree it's best to use due caution in a situation like this. Sometimes I will pull over and observe what is happening if I am unsure about a area. There are other times when I will get out and walk around. Look around the area for potential spots where cops can hide. If you see a motorcycle cop use extra caution since they are very hard to spot at night.
