Make sure you inform your attorney ASAP and have him provide you instructions for what to do under various circumstances.
Always assume that every customer or potential employee is trying to take you down. Then, just run your business according to these very specific rules. I read the complaint against Yoyo and Mayflower. She was indicted for bribing a federal government official. That is just plain stupid. Gogo Spa evidently is being indicted for immigration fraud probably from hiring girls on tourist visas. Pretty easy to prove. A girl is working at your location. She is on a tourist Visa. That is illegal. I haven't seen the complaint for Empire, but my guess is that was what took Ivy down, too.
Here are some rules for operating a clean business, which is to offer private entertainment services for $50-60 per hour.
1) Only hire girls with work papers. Either a US citizen or an immigrant with a green card. The I-9 form on file would be sufficient with photo copies of appropriate IDs and status verification.
2) The girls do NOT collect any fees upfront. The only fee to be collected upfront is the $50-60 house fee for the room by the mama-san. Girls work for tips paid by clients based on the client's own criteria for the quality of the experience. Girls should be advised to hire an accountant and report her tips as Hawaii State and Federal income (this is what took down Apple).
3) Train the girls to NEVER discuss money for anything. If the guy leaves a tip, great. If not, tough luck. This leads to customer scams such as happened at Gogo Spa at least on one occasion. It also happened at Plus Spa and others. The mama should maintain security system to capture such deadbeat clients and share that information with all other AMP owners.

However, if you run your business properly, you will be able to either get the charges dismissed or win the case out right because if you don't do anything wrong, you won't lose. Just remember to charge each girl a fee for legal services. Maybe $2 per appointment. These are non-violent crimes, so I doubt there will be any allegations that won't have bail. I haven't seen any ads for her posted so I guess she made her Million and is now enjoying the fruits of her labors.
