Found Spot Light and didn't like it, esp the 40+ ladies with their drama. Unreal.I went there 2 weeks ago on the 17. What I want to know is why is the mirror in the restroom tinted. The only person I knew working in there was Candy from Cheers Station and the pupus that night was fried chicken. We went to Chocolate after that and had 3 better looking girls there. Don't know if they still there.

Does the mama of the bar know about these girls moving from bar to bar, or do all of these bar mamas have an understanding and let these KBG's work wherever they want? The bard are not all consolidated under one Korean entity, are they?Mama don't care if she is not paying them to stay or bartended. Some girls get pay to stay at the bar from 6 to 12 sometimes. So they have to stay even if it is slow. The ones that don't get pay can go anywhere they want just as long as they have there card. Either way mama makes money if a girl comes from a different car cause the guy is buying his drink and the girl drink. So she makes from the girl $5 and from the beer. Better then nothing for the mama.

They like Evergreen and Napa for the option should they have a good customer that wants to keep buying them drinks after 2am but don't want to be forced to stay until that time every single night. I say if Maya takes over Evergreen, she will fail miserably. Places like Evergreen and Napa only make $$$ after 2am when the other KBs close. So your window is only 2 hours and random depending on whether or not girls from other bars come. I say stay with a sure thing. Right now Maya's is the overall top spot. I would hate to see it go from 1st to worst overnight. Don't get greedy! A bird in the hand is worth 2 in the Bush. Remember I always say that a little of something is better than a "ton" of nothing. Decided to not even try Butterfly and Casino then and go straight to D'amours. D'amours: packed like Moonflower. I sat in D'amours for a couple of beers and thought I'll just try Butterfly."That could be the place to surprise me.", I thought. Stepped into Butterfly and it was nearly dead! I had two beers at the bar and this KBG sits next to me and even offers to buy her first drink! Surprised and intrigued, I sat with her for a while longer. We talk story and after a while I am surprised how slowly she drank her drinks. Another surprise was that this KBG drank beer! Most only drink tea so I thought,"WOW! This one might be the one to break the KBG curse!" After she drank 5 drinks (last one being an entire bottle) her speech started to slur, but it was closing time. As I walked her out of the bar, I got to thinking what would've happened if we had more time together.
What do you think brothers? Good catch that might have been real awesome or it's a good thing that it was closing time. Spent the entire night thinking that maybe this time could've gotten lucky. Oh well. Maybe I'll go back tonight seeing as though it's the end of the year. LOL

Happy New Year and a Great 2011 to all! I was thinking the same thing! The last quarter of 2010 seemed like a waste of time just going to a lot of these places. Knowing me, I'll probably resume my rounds though.
I was noticing this. These past couple nights (rainy nights) , some bars were pretty tight with people. During this year, I've noticed on rainy nights, the KB's were usually empty. Why the sudden influx of customers? I've been stocking my head into certain places and were packed on these semi-rainy days. Another thing I've noticed is that some of these KBG's are getting friendlier. I think they be learning! Or is it that the blacklist of certain KB's are finally working? Just curiosity brothers.I stopped going to Korean bars because of the bad customer service. For example, it was pretty obvious I was sitting at a booth and no one stopped by to offer any drinks. So, to get back, I would sit and watch the football game until the end and not leave any tips. I guess they realize that in this new economy, they need to focus on customer service. Let the KB boycott continue in 2011.

You guys remember tiffany from business and casino? The sultry sexy one who stood out about the rest. I spotted her at Hokua gym working out on the stair climber. She looks as hot as before. She's a beauty without makeup. Ass is incredible.

Hostess bars is not the place to go to release when you feeling horny. But, I think its a place to go to get your hormone levels up before going to an AMP. Hostess bars and strip bars is just something to do to kill time. You can stretch the time at a hostess bar and strip bar if you have the control to not splurge quickly. AMPs however, you go in there, do your thing and leave. It's too quick.
Frankly, in most cases, it is a waste of money spending at a hostess bar because most of the time you don't get what you pay for. It's like gambling at a Casino. Most times, you come out losing but, the excitement behind possibly winning money is what drives a person to keep going. The same with going hostess bars. It's the anticipation and seeing what might happen next between you and the BG.

It depends on what kind of employee the girl is. If she clocks in then she probably can't move around. The purpose is for benefit reasons such as insurance, housing, etc. Of course in this day and age those things are probably rare. Most mamas if their bar closes at 2 will allow their girls to move on to a 4 bar after. The girls you sat with probably were new to the bar scene and were just feeling out different establishments before they stick to one place. The confusing thing is sometimes I would see Miki at Evergreen kicking out girls, specifically local girls too. Never understood why she does that, probably just crazy.Miki probably kicks out the local girls because they probably go to the bar, order customer drinks, then sit with a customer, and charges him $20. No money for her so out they go.

Just remembered a night back when club tomorrow was on kapiolani. Four of us went in and sat at a table. We noticed a couple of hotties drinking tea shots. We called them over when they were not busy and ordered a round of tequilas and said, if you girls want a drink, we'll buy you 5 shots each of tequila. They said OK. When they came back with all the drinks, we said go get us some house pupus. They went to the kitchen and we dumped 4 shots of tea each out on the floor and filled them with tequila from a flask one friend had in his jacket. When they came back I said where's your lime. She said I don't like lime (boldy thinking she was drinking tea). She said cheers, I said wait, buy mama a drink. Momma came buy and we cheered. Mama saw we were big spenders seeing all the shots. You should have seen the look on the girls faces, when they tasted the shots. One friend got up, and bought us beers. We cheered the girls one after another, making sure they didn't touch the one with the tea in it. For the last cheers, one friend picked up the girls shot to give to her and before she grabbed it he said, this doesn't look like tequila. He smelled it and said, this is tea. The girls sniffed the shots and said the other were. We said bull shit. We called mama and complained we order tequila and the got tea with a splah of tequila. She tasted the shot and said it tea. We said we are not paying for this. She said wait, called the waiter and made him bring 5 more shots of real tequila for each girl. The girls complained in korean to mama. Mama just left. We made them drink it all. One after another. After 9 shots in 45 minutes, they were toast. They were sandwiched between each guy on each side, so we groped them all night. Funny thing is, one girl had on three panties, for protection I guess. We nicknamed her triple play from that day on. My friend still has one of her panties as a souvenir. We should have switched their panties and put the two remaining panties on the other girl and vice versa. One of the greatest scams of my mongering days. Moral: the kbg's always lie, they make the rules, so don't break the rules, it applys to us to? Level the playing field. They say don't think with your small head. I say, think with both heads because 2 heads are better than one, and surely better than a kbg's one hard head.

Second, as far as play goes, that's not what you are paying for. You are paying for a hostess to come talk to you while you drink. Speaking of illegal, according to LC rules and Hawaii law(s) she can not even so much as hold your hand. If she does it is considered a "sex act" and she can be arrested and charged.
These girls can't drink real alcohol all night, every night. They would be passed out by 10pm or dead of alcohol poisoning real quick. The ones who do drink heavily look old really fast, become crazy or chronically sick, or lose their figures super fast. Why else do you think they are called "Juicy" girls in Korea. They are smart enough to drink juice.
To repeat what I have said before, mongers want the girls to drink so that,"they get chance". Girls drink for the $ and because they think,"If I drink, talking to this schmuck will be less painful!"

Then perhaps the girls should pace themselves when they drink. Drink beer, drink slowly, don't jump from customer to customer too fast, and don't work every night. Yeah I know they want to make money but nobody said its easy. In fact thats the problem, their thinking is they can be mechanincal and make money and the faster they work the more money they will make. I think the worst part is the fact they try to be sneaky about it. Putting tea or whatever as shots. If you can't drink alcohol then say something and put it in a real cup, but don't play a charade as if you are drinking real alcohol.

D'amour has picked up recently as far as customers and girls go. Another area that has picked up is the fights. Two girls got into it over a customer about a week ago. That one resulted in a girl taking off her shoe and going after another girl. Man I would love to see a few hot KBGs go at it and start ripping each other clothes off! A few weeks ago Yujin was screaming at a customer from across the bar. That had something to do with a stolen customer also I believe. Last night it got crazier as some customer tried to pick a fight with the waiter or manager, Paul. Customer seemed drunk and for some reason pushed or hit Paul, so Paul clocked him. I only saw the end, so I don't know exactly why it all started. This certainly makes the KB's more fun. Was out at Maya's last night and they were a little busy. Well, more than anywhere else. Saw that Yuri or Yura, the spinner from Splash has jumped ship to Maya's. Stopped by Camelot and Moonflower. Camelot was kind of stale. Not busy but not slow either. Just went in and had a dead feel to it. Stopped in Moonflower and had a few drinks. Was not busy in there but the atmosphere was better. Talked story with mama for a bit downed my drinks and left. I did notice Alisa pass by a time or two. Looked sexy in her tight white dress that show of her okole and her panties nicely. Weren't too many girls but the decent ones had customers. Julie is back at D'amor and other bars was slow that it is not worth posting. The last bar I went before closing was Club Colorful. A customer was piss and yelling at the bartender over a lady drink that he did'nt want to pay. Thought was going have some action but mama came out.

I know I deserved it, LOL. Sorta felt bad for Lina as any time I seen her after that day its almost like she gets "iced out" by customers and the other kbg. Don't understand as she is one of the cutest one's there. My friend bought Lina a drink not to long ago, she even said they treat her sorta different, maybe because she's Chinese and/or she broke the rule of getting drinks from another girl's customer?

So back to my friends experience with Eddy, not sure how outlandish this sounds but the first round he usually has to buy her FIVE drinks, and it's only TEA. And anything after that is minimum TWO drinks. From all the $$ he spent he only got the GFE experience, no HJ and no FS. Also he bought her into the room only to have her leave the room to "work" THREE different tables while he waits in the room doing NOTHING.
Me and my friends keep telling him she's all BS and cancel her, but it's my friends first experience with a KBG and you know how that goes. I showed him this board yesterday and pretty much changed his mind about continuing to be eddy's customer. Anyway she's a ROB.

Lina is "famous". I met Yujin and she showed me her accoutrements, leading me to believe she is famous as well; thus the direct competition. Yujin is way more intense than most. I wouldn't be surprised if she was ever in trouble back in her homeland.
I don't know why they treat Lina like that, but a girl in New Casino once told me the conservative girls get disgusted with the girls who play hard. Lina is a nice girl and the last I saw had many customers.
Did Lina know or ask if you already "have a partner"? Nowadays girls ask this question or one like it before asking me for a drink. With money as their priority they are not capable of having feelings and seeing a normal future with any guy. It is always about what knid of monetary compensation is in it for them. I had similiar experience where a BG threw a fit and made a big scene when I was sitting with another girl this particular night. I told mama who came by that me and this BG was not fucking each other so I can sit with whoever I please and to set her straight. This happened to me more then once and the way I took care of it was.
1) I would not sign my bill unless they changed it.
2) I would sign the bill then challenge it with my credit card company and see how fast these rip offs stop.
Jane gave me the same five-drink thing once, complaining that the bar was too far away to walk back and forth every time. I told her it's an old bargirl trick and not to pull that with me, so she stopped. Her track record with me was good, that's the only reason she wasn't fired.
That hit-and-run in the room on your friend is another old stunt. I was never really into the boycott thing per se, but D'Amour is asking for it by teaching or allowing their girls to do these things. Maybe they'll be happy when they get dead slow like Butterfly or close like New Casino.

Just found this forum by accident yesterday literally by searching "yujin damour" in google and shocked to find actual results! And yes there is a reason why I searched for her.
Been sort of Yujin's "regular" customer for couple months (only go every other week). I read couple pages back that someone seen Yujin yell at a customer across the room, that probably was me. I bought that short Chinese girl Lina a drink, fully knowing that Yujin is going to get mad if she sees that (yujin was "busy" in a room at that time). Sure enough she got super pissed off when she "caught" me, she started to punch and slap me in the head really hard (lina got scared off) and full on kicked me (got a bruise on my leg) , she left and came back and flew Lina's shot glass to the ground cracking it, then she came back a third time and flew a stack of coasters at me. I know I deserved it, LOL. Sorta felt bad for Lina as any time I seen her after that day its almost like she gets "iced out" by customers and the other kbg. Don't understand as she is one of the cutest one's there. My friend bought Lina a drink not to long ago, she even said they treat her sorta different, maybe because she's Chinese and / or she broke the rule of getting drinks from another girl's customer?

Also I'm still a newbie when it comes to KB / VB, only been doing this for a year and a half, but damn what a rollercoaster for me. I'm only in my late 20's.
And if your wondering the only thing me and Yujin did was DFK. I don't spend too much on BG nowdays, just go KBG just to cruise with friends on weekends. Just got back from San Diego and man it seems I missed a lot as the forum (in general) has a higher than normal amount of posts. I will give a report about SD later or you can PM if you are headed up there soon.

I would pay to see her taken out in cuffs all drunk and being crazy with HPD. She wants you to take her to lunch because she wants to eat and not spend her own money. That girl is getting big. I hear she was bigger and went away to LA, Korea and Japan for a while and lost a bunch of weight. My buddy took her to eat a few times and she ordered enough for 2-3 people and ate it all! Another time he said she ordered extra at the end and took it home to her partners in crime. Oh, and yes, it is a guise for making you think she is your girlfriend and she would ask him to buy her things. He dumped her fat okole real quick but not without some play. No sex buy FIV, BJ, DFK and HJ in the bar and once in his SUV. When she gets drunk she goes especially crazy but she also plays. Like I said just got back on island so I went to shower and then straight to KB with the friends. We were at the bar planning our attack and drinking our 1st beers when I needed to head to the bathroom. Lina did ask if I have a partner and I did tell her it was yujin. She then said yujin should be "okay" with buying her drinks. I already knew yujin was going to get mad if she sees that so I knew what I was getting into. Its almost like was doing it on purpose to see some action thus the "I kinda deserved it" in my op.
Don't get me wrong yujin is cool, but she can get too crazy as some of you know. That's messed up man to say that you deserve it simply because you knew she was going to get mad. Showed me the kitchen and the potential it had. There's also a room that she was going to turn into a private dining room for 20 peeps, once the kitchen got renovated.

There are only certain girls I trust, in places with bartenders (local Guys) I trust, that I have ever used plastic. Rooms are a thing of the past for me, but I knew Lina would be the real deal and not ROB me. Like many members have said, 'Just AMP already'.
I don't know what the issue was, but years ago I saw a local bartender ask the customer, "You trust da bahtenda?", before actually doing whatever it was he was going to do. He wasn't joking; probably was going to make a special drink like nightclub bartenders make. Especially in today's bars, like D'Amour, I think this is an important concept.

The staff seemed pretty friendly, though.
It looked nicely renovated but I don't know if it was like that from Empire days.

I guess what I mean by "cool" is that Yujin never pressures me to buy her drinks when I go to D'Amour. Several occasions I went to D'Amour with a friend because he wanted to visit Eri. When I see Yujin I told her that I just wanted to drink beer and did not want company so she said okay and left and wasn't sour about it. Spent to the whole night just drinking beers by myself and not getting bothered (while my friend wasted $$ on Eri, haha) Yujin would smile and even rub my hair anytime I passed her when going to the bathroom. I think the most I bought her in a given night was three on my own accord, she even catches my beer sometimes.
I forgot to mention the next time I went to D'Amour (after that incidient with buying Lina a drink) , Yujin came up to me with a nice attitude and told me she was "cool" and that she wouldn't bother me if I wanted to buy another girl drinks.

I'm not sure if it's the way we look but we got this "WTF are you doing here" stare from a lot of the KBG, BTW we're in our late 20's-early 30's and wear shorts, slipper, and regular tshirts. We don't have problems at other bars. So we walk in and nobody greets us. So were kinda standing there like monkeys looking for a table. We finally just sit down and then maybe 5 mintues later a hostess finally asks us if we want beer and even have our I'd's checked. A bunch of KBG pass us but none come up to us to ask if want company. Our server doesn't ask us either. After two beers we leave and go somewhere else.

I thought I was going to get a BJ (not that I was in the mood as she looked insane) but no; then she staggered out. She was flying-drunk but of course denied it. Man what a nutcase. She was bouncing off the walls.
Then I was in Pharaoh and bought this hottie from LA a drink, because she reminded me so much of the smokin' Ruby from S Lounge except older with a rough complexion covered with Bondo. Almost the same import car show girl body and long legs. But alas, I wasn't drinking alcohol (she had a problem with that) and she didn't want to drink alone, and left on that basis. She didn't want or need my money and preferred to go back to doing nothing. I don't know what planet she's from. Whatevers.
I just hope widgets masquerading as hostesses are not the wave of the future.
To me julie is best kbg that I've seen. She knows it's just work / business. I never see her cry, get angry, or even get wasted like other girls. She can speak japanese and like to dance and sing. If you like to save money just watch her sing and dance to other customer cause most of the time she sing the same fricking song.Sorry for the late response but getting caught up. I had the same experience as you, multiple times. From what I saw at Maya's it seems geared more towards an older (read: 'wealthier') crowd. Sure, there are some hot girls working, but something tells me they have to target the big fish and let the younguns like us flap in the wind. On the positive side, try sit at the bar. The two older K-Bartenders are really friendly and chatty. I had a good time cruising with them before going to the next place.

Anybody know if coco (sp?) still works at camelot? The last time I went there I didn't see her. I seen her one time at Evergreen. My friend keeps on talking about her so I figured I ask here if anybody here knows where she works now. Fairly young girl in her mid 20's, hapa girl. Maybe part korean or japanese? She has a large tat on her back and has wavy hair. She also likes to fake a broken english accent but speaks fluent english / pidgin. BTW, she was my friend's ex-gf in high school so we know she faking all that accent stuff. Also she likes to do the fake drunk walk too. Not to sure why but one word of advice, it's a turn off. The girls were probably busy with customers they know will spend mean kala. If there were girls in the first booth as you walk in (on the right) and they still didn't make a move then screw them, I would have left too.
Speaking of Maya's, it seems a few girls have left. I guess they are making the 90 day pilgrimage back to the mother land. At the same time she picked up one or two while I was gone. Met Yujin (?) very briefly. Seems nice and is decent looking. Does anyone have an intel report on her yet? Ah, well I guess I will head there tonight and lay the foundation.

I was reading on several posts that Maya's was a good spot to go to. We went there twice and both times we didn't have a good experience. I'm not sure if it's the way we look but we got this "WTF are you doing here" stare from a lot of the KBG, BTW we're in our late 20's-early 30's and wear shorts, slipper, and regular tshirts. A bunch of KBG pass us but none come up to us to ask if want company. Our server doesn't ask us either. After two beers we leave and go somewhere else.
So like I mentioned in my first post I'm new to the KBGs, but this was the first bar we went to where we did not have someone seat us at a table and no girls offered us company. Is it worth it to make a third try, maybe the two time we went it was an off night? Thats just typical service at Mayas, unless you know someone there. Even sitting at the bar can be bad. Once I sat there for about 15 minutes and finally the gentlemen next to me had to call the bartender. As far as the girls not going to you, my advice is think of it as maybe its for the best.

It used to be way better so don't get your hopes up and rush over there, just sayin' it was a bit better than previous. Club Good Time in Kalihi soon to be another victim of the economy. Michelle is more for younger crowd and hanging out, looking at the girls and talking to the girls. It's not like a KB. In fact, some of the girls in there have no clue what makes Michelles bar different from a Korean bar. The young local guys I know and even don't know, don't really go to KB. I have friends that I try bring to KB and they don't like. Some feel its mainly FOB Korean women that you buy them drinkie drinkie. They rather go strip bars. I guess younger guys would not want to spend money buying drinks just to have a female sit next to them. They rather see naked chicks. Decided to check out Colorful since all the talk intrigued me but no reviews as of yet. Nice clean place and it was packed. Lots of booths, some hidden behind a wall, all new. Typical PC bar, good service, actual food for pupus and older women. There were about a dozen working that night and they looked to be in their 40s and a few in their 60s. Decided to check out Colorful since all the talk intrigued me but no reviews as of yet. Nice clean place and it was packed. Lots of booths, some hidden behind a wall, all new. Typical PC bar, good service, actual food for pupus and older women. There were about a dozen working that night and they looked to be in their 40s and a few in their 60s. A couple of hot looking ones caught my eye, and of course they were the busy ones. I drank a couple of beers and left.
BTW, the chubby Filipino (?) from all over PC is there. The nasty one. Stop at Colorful Friday but they had a blackout so went home. The flip chick must be Clare.

Actually I been wanting to make a report on kbs since the new year but this year seems the slowest I've seen it ever! Except for the guys on the couch, was all E class guys like me or F hehe, very subdued and quiet which is good if you want to concentrate on the game. After 3rd quarter got bored so walk in secret and surprisingly they had full night time crew girls working the mostly be and see croud which is normal for vb. This place was recently partially acquired by Danny and Lan of Romantei / Banzai. It'll probably end up a merged bar of Korean, Viet, and local girls. Where is cheers station located?It's along Kapalama canal mauka of Dillingham and makai of King. The nearest kb is CK. Too lazy to look it up now but I'm pretty sure I saw it on Google street maps.
