For those searching for her, I passed thru the area at 10:15am-10:30am. Jaime was wearing peach colored slacks and a white camisole top walking up Mauna Kea toward Kukui. On the Bethel street bus stop, right across the street from hawaii theatre was a local full-japanese fat fuck 200 pound diabetic woman wearing glasses. I pick her up and she says she needs to use the bathroom so I agree to take her to safeway, and tell her 10 minutes is the limit, and she leaves her purse in my car. It then takes her fuckin 30 minutes to go to safeway to use the bathroom and then to longs at 2:30 am in the morning with no lines.
She comes back, and I tell her I'm pissed and was ready to ditch. She then tells me to stop treating her like an animal and treat her like a woman. We go to kaakako and before we start she proceeds to recline and I give her the money because she asked for it. Big fuckin mistake, I knew it was a mistake once I gave it to her. Once she had the money, she proceeds to tell me that I treat her like fat shit, and that she is a homeless person and a thief.
I refuse to be serviced because of her shitty attitude, and she won't give me my. 30 back. So we argue for another 15 minutes and I then drop her off. So $30 and gas for driving around for basically nothing but arguing. This has have to be my worse experience and no girl I picked up has ever raised their voice at me let alone acted like that.
So lesson learned: do not give the money until service is actually performed. And if she insists, and you know her, make damn sure she will not rob you.

In the past there have been bills in the legislature to impound vehicles for those arrested for DUI or for not having proof of valid insurance. They have not passed partly because of the cost to the counties to safely store these impounded vehicles and the liability if the vehicles get damaged or items in the vehicles go missing while in impound. It was also argued that since the person charged with an offense is considered innocent until proven guilty in court, that it is unjust to impound their vehicle before guilt has been established. But I agree it would be very hard to explain to your SO why your vehicle was impounded by LE if you were arrested for a Prostitution offense. Or worse, if you were driving your SO vehicle at the time and it gets impounded.

Impounds have been done in California before. I have seen with my own eyes, cars being loaded on flatbeds and hauled off. But usually they would pull them over for suspected criminal activity but take the car because of registration, licensing or insurance. Unless of course it was a stolen car.
Oakland takes your car regardless how your case goes that means your car is taken and sold unless you buy it back from the city.

VSYou are right, LE have been making a conscious effort to establish a greater presence in the are over the past few weeks. One of the girls mentioned that they're going to lay low for awhile and just go via BP's, CL or party up with people they're already familiar with.
Seen Mary cruzin River st sitting on grass with others recently. Couple weeks ago she was with two young cuties talking. I slowed down but Mary never looked over as normal. I usually do this every year, but I'm not sure how many people pay attention to it. Over the last couple of years, I've noticed that during Spring Break or near it LE usually steps up their presence in Downtown. Any really attractive looking women on the more mahu side, or 'new girls' I'd be really careful about approaching. I don't know if it was posted but I recently saw a small black car parked on the makai side of Kukui Street near Pali. I was more than halfway through the turn by the time it came into view. This vehicle appeared to be "shaven" but it reminded me of a Subaru WRX. It was night and I was negotiating a turn so I only got a few glances. It had the compact cop lights on the roof and an older chubby-looking caucasian-looking guy with glasses was behind the wheel. Luckily my signals were on.
