Looking for an apartment place around Orange County. Never been, so I would love to try one out. If a veteran can PM me with prices and locations, it would be greatly appreciated. Please don't worry about whether I will scare the providers; I am also Asian so I hope I won't have any problems going into the AAMPs.

Sorry guys, been away from the forum for a few days but doensn't look like I've missed much.

Cruised Harbor today for lunch and it was almost completely dead. I did spot what looked like a decent LSW closed by the JiB. I drove up to the parking lot and she went in to the JiB. I said what the heck so I went in also and got me some lunch. Her phone kept ringing off the hook but she did not want to play the game while she was eating.

I left her alone and off I went. Next I spotted a skanky ass LSW on the the corner of Harbor and Washington (nasty looking). All of the sudden I spot the same LSW from JiB across the street by the bus stop. I picked her up and got some chorizo luving for 40. She wanted 60, I was like "you've got to be kidding me!". She followed by 50 and I said 40 and Final Offer. She accepted and drove me to a place where she proceeded to give me a half-hearted cbj. Didn't feel right, and didn't even ask for the number. She carried a bunch of phones with her and her name was Silk. Had a tat on her neck that something about "102".

She claimed getting 100 buck customers for cbj around Harbor. Must be newbies, because I know no self-respecting monger on this board would not pay that much for a lackluster cbj. She even claimed 300 for FS. I set her straight and told her things don't work that way around here. She said she was heading for Pomona (Holt) where she sometimes gets 500 in an hour. Now those gotta be some stupid ass fools paying high prices to "6" on the scale SWs.

Other than that, Harbor was dead and North part of Harbor pass GG Blvd is even worse. It is mostly miss than hits these days. I used to be able to pick up some decent SWs around the Anaheim area.

Harbor 8/23 Lunchtime

My stroll was somewhat similar/somewhat different than Beer Guzzlers. Headed S on Harbor and there was a LSW in white shorts by the businesses just S of Orangewood. I thought today would be my lucky day since I haven't seen a SW in this part of Harbor during lunch for a while now. Too bad she got scooped up by a monger using his work van @ Bakers Square.

Headed S and passed Silk (Beer's girl) who has been reported on before by others and me. Don't listen to her bs. I first met her on Holt and then she started on Harbor after Holt got hot. I'm pretty sure she hasn't been back there and doesn't plan to. She only works during daylight hours, but a couple days ago I saw her working around 8:30-9 so she must be pretty desparate for $$$.

Things were dead S of First and that stupid road construction leaving one lane didn't get me interested in making more than one trip.

Harbor 8/23 7pm:

Only saw 2 BSW in SA. Didn't feel my luck would change so I took the 405 and checked out Beach. The evening stroll (before dark) has been bad recently. Even the BSW's haven't been coming out much at that time.

Yeah I pretty much categorized her as a bshitter so I went with the flow. I wasn't very much impressed with her looks so that is why her cbj was unimpressive.

I usually start out my cruise from Katella and Harbor down south. Once in a great while I am able to pick up a couple of good looking SWs in that area (Anaheim). That's where I picked up Sierra and few other good looking ones, but nowadays is pretty much a miss rather than hit.

A few weeks ago there was even a bunch of BSWs walking around on Harbor. I don't even see that anymore. Looks like LE has really scared them away or locked them up. Too bad, AMPs are too expensive to frequent every week.

Does anyone know when the 22 Fwy construction on Harbor will be completed? It really sucks to have to go through that massive traffic when you are trying to jump from the Anaheim area to SA in search of SWs.

I cruised Harbor again for lunch today and spotted a nasty looking BSW crossing the street on Westminster. Man, she had a face like 2Pac. I also saw the WSW whale that was kicking back about a block south of that. I thought I had spotted a nice looking WSW on Warner by the Bus Stop. Quickly made a U but she stopped at the BS and didn't continue her stroll.

Oh well, another 20 bucks wasted in gas. I don't know, with these gas prices our hobby is becoming more expensive everyday. That and the fact that some of you mongers out there like to pamper the girls with extra cash, the fees are starting to go up.

Aside from Harbor and Beach/Ball, does anyone know of another place to pick up SWs in OC? If you know of any good spots please PM me. Where are you guys? Get out there and post something, this board is dying quickly.

Harbor has its share of SW's but the cops are on them pretty heavily. Funny thing is they are harrased for awhile and then pop up a few blocks away, usually they are moving South. I saw a pretty hot white chick in a white mini skirt and high heels out Monday night.

I guess its completely OK for the cops to stop a provactively dressed girl walking down the street in a known prostitution area, but its a no no to single out a young Arab on an airplane or a black gangster looking dude in a car? Wassupp with the double standard, and where is the ACLU?

If the cops are interested in stopping sex for money they better start looking in every restaurant and shopping mall in OC, because there is a lot of sex for money going on out there, why pick on the street walkers?

I would love to see some non pro girls dress up hot and walk around the street and sue the shit out of the police for harrassing them! That would certainly slow down the police harrasment. What if a girl was just looking for a boyfriend and gave guys in passing cars her phone number? Is that against the law?

It seems as though there are some big holes in this whole process and someone ought to do something about it. I'm too busy mongering, so hopefully someone else has some time!

Excellent point LTP. The sw's are easy pickins for the pussified LE who are afraid to go after real criminals and thugs.

I stopped at the McD's on Harbor in CM yesterday around 3:30 and ate my lunch in my car facing towards Harbor.

Costa Mesa LE had two sw's pulled into the parking lot next to the liquor store there, one cute lsw and a purple wig wearing bsw, kind of skanky.

Anyway, they were going through the bsw's purse (the lsw didn't have a purse) while the sw's sat on the parking lot curb.

Finally, they put the bsw in their car and the lsw was sent walking.

All this time, a black pimp, thug looking guy was lurking in the back of Mc'D's watching every move of the LE from his pimped out Tahoe, and the cops saw him!!! They kept looking his way, but they did nothing, pussies both of them.

The cops know the sw's are not a threat to them and are an easy arrest (outstanding simple warrant) where as the pimp might have an outstanding felony battery or 187 warrant against him and might kick the f**king crap out of both of them so they stay away from him.

I also cruised Harbor last night and didn't spot much. A few here and there, but nothing worth picking up.

Also, the disruption that took place yesterday with the pipes busting and water all over the streets didn't help with the traffic either.

Hey fellas,

I usually do my hobbying in IL and was looking for AMPS that provide FS. I usually head to the apartments here in IL since they raided all the AMPS that were near. So...anyone want to point me in the direction? Or at least point me to where I can find the info? From what I'm reading there isn't much in OC. I don't want to go to TJ either-I already have the Tshirt prove that I was there. Any info would be appreciated.

Harbor during the late afternoon Thursday had several SW's all pretty much unattractive. There was kind of an interesting confused looking ASW near the Calif Palms apartments dressed in a short skirt and checking out the traffic.

There were quite a few hoes walking around with their guts protruding out. Doesn't all that walking burn any fucking calories? Isn't it better to jack off than to be with some of these skanky fay fugly hoes?

In reply to Beer Guzzler's question, though I'm mainly just a lurker here and don't really dig the SW scene, I did notice some action a few months ago down in Costa Mesa when I was at the DMV there a few times. Actually I was taking a fried for some practice runs for her driving exam there and I notice that there were a lot of mostly skanky looking women skulking around the backstreets that I could only assume were SWs. Mainly latinas from what I could tell. Anyways, the action seemed to center along the small streets parralel to and just behind Harbor close to the DMV. The action seemed pretty dodgy though with a lot of dealer types and more than occasional LE presence.

There is a lot of homeless activity around here. Many are females and I suppose you could fuck one in exchange for a forty ouncer or for whatever their smoking preference is if you're that desparate.

Costa Mesa PD tolerates the bums as long as they stay below Wilson street and away from Triangle Square. "Gotta put them somewhere." Is there attitude.

There is a little park on Harbor across the street from Baskin Robbins behind a bus stop that us longtime locals call "Bum Stop Park" where they hang out do their drinking and drugs without harrassment. I watched some fat chick take a hit off a glass pipe then pass out. She must have been smoking H because I don't think crack will do that to you. A couple of her drunk bum buddies start laughing and feeling her up "Hands in her pants pulling her tit out and the works!" right in broad daylight. My yuppie buddy who I was with at the time freaked and called 911. After he described what was going on and where, the cops told him that most of there officers were at a crime scene investigation and they would get there as soon as they could. Well we finished our ice cream and left. He dropped me off at home and just for giggles I decided to drive back by there to see if anything happened. The chick had come to and was laughing and drinking with the rest of the bunch and still no cops. Thats how much of a shit they give.

I have seen a couple of female bums right around the DMV,the local businesses there and over at Airplane Park that were soliciting but they were very nasty. Airplane park has got a lot of bums hanging out also. A goofball I worked with for a while got a BJ off some homeless skank in the park parking lot a long time ago. That's a good question and the reality of it is that they really didn't have a valid reason to question him, and I'm sure that the cops knew he was their pimp, but their hands are tied because they didn't have a justifiable reason to hassle him.

I guess I was just venting because I was and still am pissed that they are hasseling the girls and the mongers in CM.

I didn't read Beer Guzzlers initial question. I just took Hypos post as an opportunity to rant about my neihborhood.

I have seen girls working locally in weird areas. Usually once then never again. It is just a matter of keeping your eyes open.

Here are some "Once in a blue moon." spots where I have seen activity more than once:
Lincoln Blvd. between Beach and Brookhurst.
Katella beween Beach and Harbor.
Garden Grove Blvd. between Western and Harbor.
(All three of those runs used to be hot spots but are pretty dead now.)
Brookhhurst just north of the 91 on the west side near a seedy hotel.
Harbor just north of Ball near the seedy hotels.
17th,1st and 5th west of Harbor.
Euclid Between the 22 fwy and 17th.
Bristol North of Edinger to 17th.
Valley Veiw just south of the 5 fwy near the Ralley Burger.
19th St. in my hood CM between Harbor and Placentia. Homeless skanks. "There is one toothless hag that I see every few weeks hanging out at the pay phone by the California Stop market."
The occasional "Hitch Hookers" that pop up along PCH anywhere from San Clemente to central CA.

Here are some real weird spots that I have seen activity that I am certain was for real once:
Santa Ana St. just south of Bristol. Hot MILFish blondie dressed in business attire sitting at a bus bench gave me a deliberate bare beaver shot (Shaved too!) as I passed. I went around the block and saw her get into a beat up van driven by a hispanic man. Definetly an odd couple.
Fairveiw just south of Baker. Another MILFish blond displaying her thong while sitting at a bus bench. Watched her get up and walk away rather than getting on the bus and then later as I was exiting Stater Bros. I noticed she had returned. Saw her get scooped up.

Here are a few really really weird scenarios that I doubt will ever happen again in the same spot:
Hamiltom St. between Harbor and Placentia in CM. I met a girl at the end of my driveway while getting the mail. Hot young thin blondie. She bummed a smoke off me the asked me if I needed a date. I had a live in girlfriend who was home at the time and had to decline.
My front door step! Some chick knocked on the door and tried to sell me some $14 bottle of "Miracle Cleaner". It looked and smelled to me like Simple Green and water mix in a generic squirt bottle. I declined on the cleaner and asked her if she had anything else to offer. "Girlfriend was long gone when this happened." Negotiated $50 for halfnhalf. Finished her doggie on my beanbag chair and out the door she went never to be seen again. Decent looking blond a little on the thick side. She forgot the bottle of cleaner and it did work good on cum stains! "Yeah like thats ever gonna happen again in my lifetime."
Culver St. south of the 405 near Harvard in Irvine. I was working on a year long project at UCI. While me and my crew were eating lunch at the Subway two girls and two guys showed up "Young white hippie types." One of the girls bummed a smoke off my buddy and they struck up a conversation. We learned that they were hitchhiking around the country and were hanging out in the area with some friends for a few days so they could go see the "Kiss/Alice Cooper Halloween concert." as I recall. But they looked like they had been camping and hadn't seen a shower in a while. The next morning I saw the youngest and possibly under age girl of the two walking around all cleaned and dolled up get picked up by one of the of the Mexicans heading to our job site. I was behind them and followed them a bit until they turned off into a secluded area of UCI that hadn't been lanscaped yet. The third day as I was pulling into the Carls Jr. for lunch a beat up van stopped short in front of me and some guys in the back through the same girl out the side door wearing only her panties then chucked out the rest of her clothes and split. She gathered her stuff and ran into the Carls restroom. Her face looked like they thumped her. I did an annonomous 911 call on that one at the pay phone then split elsewhere for lunch. Never saw any of them again.

I wouldn't suggest that anyone should waste their gas cruising any of these areas. Just keep your eyes peeled. Shit can pop up anywhere. Just last week a woman offered to blow me if I could spot her $20 for bus fair so she could get to LA. This was in Palm Desert at an AM/PM. She was about the quality of the $45 hos that used to roam Harbor back in the haydays. If it wasn't so godamn hot out I would have probably taken her up on it. Her mouth would have felt clammy considering the temperatures my dick had been in all day. I just gave her a couple of bucks and went on my way.

On the contrary, I'm fairly confident that the picture is real. Likely to be 19 too, old enough to have all drugged out. She won't likely to be all dolled up for you so her face could look unattractive. The pictures doesn't show anything about her body. She's likely to be all flappy with two flap of breasts, falling down bottom, the effect of drugs. She probably would do anything though.

Be extremely careful in CM, anywhere for that matter.We need to be extremely careful anywhere we cruise. The issue of hassleing the SWs, well, they are out there acting suspicious as hell. Cops just simply do their jobs. Can't fault them for that.

We all know the precautions of picking an SW up. Stick to the rules and we'll all be ok.

Tata used to work LA on Century then she left her pimp and went solo doing CL and escort sites. I've seen her a few times and she's good but she will try to charge to much for her services. Harbor 8/29 evening.

What's up guys, I was wondering why this board has been slow. But after a quick drive down Harbor I can definitely tell why. The streets where dead around 10 PM tonight. I did spot 3 SWs (2 BSWs & 1 WSW) being harassed by LE South of McFadden. Looks like those pigs have been cleanning up the streets well :( I wonder if Beach has any action in the night time. I noticed that the Kayla in the Orange County CL has the 619 number while the same pictures show up in the los angeles CL with the 213 number. I have seen many reports on how these guys steel pics and sub a different number. Then they do the bait and switch, upsell, etc.

Last night I drove Harbor from Orangewood down to the 405 (from 8:30 to 10PM). Saw some SW activity, of course none that I could get to on time. CMPD was having a field day yesterday impounding cars for whatever reasons. I don't think any of it was hobby related.

I saw a monger pick up a lsw near the front of Carls Jr. He then drives towards the back of the parking lot. No sooner than he got to the buildings in back of DT and CJ an undercover car (silver Chevy Malibu about a 2003) pulled him over, blocked his van and the two cops jumped out. They were both wearing Levis and dark blue or black shirts with "POLICE" on the back.

I couldn't figure out if they were Santa Ana or Costa Mesa LE from where I was parked and I didn't want to get closer.

Why did they pull him over before he did the deed, not during, not after but before.

I don't think the lsw was an undercover cop because she got in his van and I didn't see the undercover car following them after the monger picked her up.

They then got both of them out of the car and sat them on the curb and searched his van.

No marked police cars ever showed up while I was there and I stayed parked there till 9:15 watching.

They handcuffed the monger and kept him on the curb, the lsw was not cuffed and still stitting when I drove away.

Don't know if this was a drug bust or a monger bust.

Did anyone else see this? There were alot of solo male drivers crusing thru that parking lot while I was sitting there.

What's up guys? I know I haven't posted much lately, but then again, nothing has been happening out on the streets these days. I cruised Harbor yesterday in the afternoon and didn't find much going on.

In the spirit of sharing my mongering experiences. I took a stroll down Harbor last night and things look like they are picking up. Be wary when mongering because LE is still out there in force. Asian night/karaoke clubs and social dance clubs are all called hostess club in LA. They are the same in charging you the time with the girls and they dance with you, but the feel is totally different. At least the price.

laugh if you will, but the messages work. parra--who regularly employed eight or nine strippers--spent approximately $4,000 per month on advertisements for his lol and ambrosia escort services. though an overwhelming majority of pictures in escort ads are fake and almost none of the girls are truly independent, a seemingly limitless stream of men--everyone from doctors and lawyers to engineers, software developers and unemployed freaks--responds. on the supply side, there is also never a shortage of would-be strippers. parra’s files contained hundreds of applications from an assortment of women.

the business is simple. when potential customers call, they talk first to the escort agency’s female "booker," who often pretends to be the model in a specific ad. this woman screens for **** callers, pranksters or police and makes legitimate customers feel comfortable by engaging in friendly small talk.

the booker also pumps potential customers for information. on internal "show information" sheets, she records the date of each call, customer name, phone number, address, directions, model sought, fee amount and "special information"-- which could note anything from a client’s airline flights or specific desires. if a deal is made, the booker usually sets an upfront fee of $150 ($70 for the girl; $80 for the escort service). that price covers a striptease of less than 30 minutes. men perceived to be wealthy could be charged $200 or more for the same dance. cops say strippers hit "the jackpot" for themselves when they lure additional fees from customers.

but the booker’s priority is securing reservations. a handwritten instruction manual found at parra’s bellflower office reveals the game plan to play on callers: "if he asks what you do for $150, say you can’t say too much over the phone, but say, ‘we will have a good time, lots of closeness, touching, getting naked. you’ll be satisfied.’"

contingency scenarios included:

"if you are comfortable with some people, you can say ‘full service.’ if he asks for a specific act, then there are three [options]: 1. hang up. 2. try to work around it. 3. book it; then hit and run"--escort parlance for tricking a customer into paying for sex but fleeing with his cash before delivering on the promise.

prosecutor murray believes the hit-and-run scam was standard operating procedure for parra and nava.

"their goal was to find potential people to rip off," said murray. "they thought they had a fool-proof plan because men wouldn’t feel comfortable calling police to complain. they were selling sex without the intention of engaging in sex, and then laughing at their victims."

the degree of frustration george felt when he discovered nava wasn’t a prostitute—or, perhaps, wasn’t one unless she received additional incentive--may remain a mystery forever. george can’t speak. nava isn’t talking.

but 25 minutes after entering the apartment, nava used her cell phone to call parra--who’d been waiting outside in his late-model, dark-colored hyundai. she’d later tell her lawyer that george wanted sex, she wanted out, and parra wanted to protect her. police believe another version is likely: george merely wanted his money back.

neighbor hull remembers she was working on her computer when she heard a "really loud thump" that shook the building. it was parra--a tall, heavyset man--trying to kick down george’s door. parra lawyer christian r. jensen said every "reasonable person" dealing with the potential rape of an employee would behave as his client did.

"charles george died at the hands of daniel parra," jensen told a jury. "we’re looking at the mindset of mr. parra on the evening of jan. 29. all the neighbors heard a commotion. they said there is something going on in there and it’s bad. what were mr. parra’s actions? he was using any means necessary to get in. three times, he tried to get in through the window. he is desperate. a witness says he’s going to call police, and mr. parra says, ‘go ahead.’ he’s not doing anything secretive. but this work can get dangerous. people can get hurt. people are drunk. people are on drugs and have weapons. it’s a violent situation. mr. parra eventually gets the door open."

there’s little disagreement that when the door opened, nava fled silently by parra on her way to the hyundai. parra then entered the apartment wielding his industrial-sized flashlight. moments later, a witness at the apartment complex saw a distraught george, dressed only in his underwear, trying to escape through his front door.

"parra was wearing a military-style jacket that night," said prosecutor murray. "and people saw the arms of someone wearing a military-style jacket grab mr. george, spin him around and pull him back inside the apartment. then there are a series of crashes and thuds."

terror likely consumed george’s final moments. evidence indicates he attempted to lock himself in his bedroom, but parra kicked the bedroom door down with such force he cracked it in half. when parra finished beating his customer with the six-pound flashlight, he casually walked out of the apartment, paused only to call an alarmed bystander "stupid," climbed into his hyundai and drove away with nava.

paramedics found a bloody george lying on his floor in a coma. he was taken to mission hospital regional medical center but never regained consciousness. he died the next day.

an autopsy determined george had been bludgeoned with a heavy object. the coroner found numerous defensive wounds on the victim’s arms and hands; bruises to his torso and rib cage; and lacerations to his lip, face, and all over the back and crown of his skull, which had been shattered. a massive brain hemorrhage caused death.

investigator bill vining, a 24-year-veteran of the orange county sheriff’s department (ocsd), is known among colleagues as a low-key yet tireless sleuth. he’s been assigned to murder cases for the past six years. vining says citizen tips commonly help solve murders. but there would be no tips in the george case. escort-industry employees don’t like to talk to homicide detectives.

when vining and fellow deputy dan salcedo arrived at the crime scene, they found "a real whodunit." neighbors who saw the killers didn’t know their identities, and the getaway hyundai was using fake paper license plates. detectives started from scratch.

"we interviewed the witnesses and determined that the victim had apparently hired a girl," said vining. "that’s about all we knew at first."

there were few additional clues except that the killers accidentally left two pieces of clothing near george’s body: an orange spaghetti-strap top and a black, full-face ski mask with only eye slits. both items carried dna, but whose?

some phone companies erase specific details of local calls after about 48 hours. vining and salcedo quickly obtained george’s records and discovered two calls on the evening of his death: one to an escort service called society x in torrance and another to a voice-mail pager belonging to a female named gypsy. the detectives then tied gypsy to the escort-service website they found on george’s home computer.

during the week after the killing, parra and nava fled north in their hyundai. they first told friends george attempted rape; later, they’d say george had succeeded. they were clueless that ocsd detectives executed 13 countywide search warrants in the case and were methodically closing in on not only their identities but also their soon-to-be hideout location.

a paper trail revealed parra’s half-chinese, half-latino heritage; his gulf war service in the air force; his studies at a cerritos community college; his divorce from a marriage that produced a son; his work as a bouncer at a los angeles bar; his 1997 arrest and acquittal on weapons charges; and his violence-prone escort operation run from an office on bellflower boulevard. in one instance, parra threatened and then sprayed a can of mace into the face of a disappointed customer who tried to get parra’s license-plate number.

the detectives also learned about parra’s relationship--at times, romantic--with nava and that he’d recently purchased a hyundai like the one used by the suspects in the george murder. parra listed his ex-wife, mary jane parra of shasta county, as a reference on his credit application at the huntington beach dealership. tipped by the ocsd, deputies in shasta county drove by the ex-wife’s trailer-park home and found the hyundai. the unwitting woman soon learned that police wanted her ex-husband and nava for murder.

"we surrounded the trailer with shasta county deputies and used a bullhorn to tell parra and nava to come out," said vining, who found $2,000 hidden in nava’s shoe during the arrest. "we surprised them, but they eventually came out and invoked their fifth amendment privileges."

parra and nava had lived as fugitives for only eight days.

deputy da murray is a west point graduate married to an fbi agent. he’s arguably the most hard-charging county prosecutor in orange county. in a courtroom, he impresses judges with his memory, captivates juries with his oratory and frightens murder defendants with his passion. he defeated famed defense attorney leslie abramson in a vietnamese-gang double-homicide trial earlier this year. murray had no sympathy for nava or parra, whom he mocked as low-life con artists willing to do anything for "the almighty dollar."

but murray had a problem. some prosecutors thought parra should be charged with second-degree murder and nava shouldn’t face any charges. after all, parra hadn’t premeditated murder and nava hadn’t even touched george. in fact, after her arrest in shasta county, another orange county prosecutor then supervising the case freed the stripper. the original prosecution theory was simple: nava responded to george’s call, danced, legitimately took her fee and fled with parra’s lethal if unnecessary assistance. using this scenario, nava wasn’t culpable and parra faced prison time with parole possibilities if convicted.

to murray, however, both parra and nava committed first-degree homicide. killing a person--even accidentally--while committing a serious crime such as robbery is felony murder under california law. using this statute wasn’t far-fetched. in their investigation, vining and salcedo discovered that a string of parra’s clients had been threatened, beaten and extorted over the years. the detectives and murray concluded the escort service was essentially a burglary/robbery operation in disguise.

"parra targeted his victims," said murray. "how do we know he intended to steal? it all goes back to his business practices. it’s a scam. it’s nothing but that."

detectives found evidence that:

*a parra employee accepted money for sex from a man, then said she needed to put the cash in her car for safekeeping but returned with parra, who displayed handcuffs and voiced threats before fleeing with the man’s money.

*two vietnamese brothers staying at an orange county hotel gave a parra stripper $200 for sex, and then watched as she quickly sped away in a truck driven by parra.

*a customer suspicious of a parra escort tried to cancel his appointment only to have a handcuff-toting parra arrive and threaten to call police if he didn’t pay additional sums he called a "cancellation fee."

*nava visited the orange county hotel room of an out-of-town businessman and got $150 for a dance and additional sums for promised sex before calling parra, who entered the room, broke the client’s jaw with a flashlight, emptied a can of pepper spray in his face and stole his laptop computer.

on murray’s orders, deputies re-arrested nava as part of a criminal enterprise that killed george.

the trial focused on a few questions: was nava’s stripper ad selling legal entertainment, illegal sex or simply the allure of intimacy? or was it a clever vehicle for thieves to enter houses, apartments and hotel rooms of unsuspecting men?

george douveas, deputy alternate defender for nava, wasn’t amused by law enforcement’s conclusions. douveas called murray’s case "novel and creative" and his logic "legal gymnastics." he asked: if parra and nava were crooks, as the prosecutor alleged, why didn’t they steal george’s wallet containing $312, his checkbook and a gold ring laying on a table?

murray had an answer. he claimed the defendants didn’t have time to steal on that occasion because they’d caused a commotion in the apartment complex by beating george to death. according to the prosecutor, burglary is committed when a person enters a dwelling merely with the intention to steal.

but douveas wouldn’t flinch. the usually soft-spoken defense attorney said murray’s theory of a criminal conspiracy by parra and nava was ridiculous. he noted that nava performed 150 legitimate stripper shows in six months and encountered trouble only twice because of "aggressive clients."

"the evidence indicates this wasn’t about greed," said douveas. "it’s about personal escorts, strippers. we’re not here to discuss morals. stripping is legal, and it’s a legitimate business protected by the constitution. they had an office. they paid rent. they paid taxes."

they also targeted horny men. according to douveas, everything from brewing companies to hamburger chains to automobile manufacturers use sex to sell products. he said escort businesses are like any other business. they want advertising to grab the attention of potential customers.

"if you can use sex to sell beer, you’re going to use sex to sell a stripper service," douveas told the jury. "but you’re selling sex appeal. you are not selling intercourse. it’s the illusion of sex. the ads are racy, provocative, and they’re also vague."

douveas and jensen, on parra’s behalf, argued george was either too horny or too foolish to understand he wasn’t paying nava for prostitution. "the ad said, ‘gorgeous latina. if you think you can handle this hot body, call,’" said douveas. "it was not an offer. it was an opinion. it’s so vague. . . . unfortunately, some men try to take advantage of the girls."

both defense lawyers said that customers "who wouldn’t take ‘no’ for an answer" are the reason strippers like nava must travel with powerful male guardians like parra.

"there is no sex, and yet mr. murray says that because the girls won’t commit a crime [prostitution], they’re committing another crime [stealing money from suckered customers]," said jensen. "it’s absurd. it defies logic. it doesn’t make sense. this is a modern society. these men are not vulnerable. they know it’s illegal to pay someone for sex. where’s the false promise? if the girls promised sex and didn’t deliver, there’s your false pretense. but that’s not what happened here. it’s all a word game."

it took the jury took less than two days to reach a verdict in early december. jurors found both defendants guilty of murder, conspiracy to commit burglary, two counts of burglary, two counts of robbery, assault with a deadly weapon, and two special-circumstance counts of murder in the commission of a burglary or robbery. a slouched parra said nothing as deputies led him out of the courtroom in handcuffs. tears filled nava’s eyes as a pained expression swept her face, but she also remained silent.

a male juror, who spoke to the weekly on condition of anonymity, believes he’ll long remember the arrogance of parra’s operation. "they had no conscience," he said. parra’s escorts routinely memorialized their scams with handwritten notes such as "guy wanted sex; took money and ran" or "short show. client angry. took money" or "drunk asshole. took guy’s $." in another document, nava wrote, "hit and run" and then drew a smiley face next to her words.

after the verdict, murray looked satisfied. "the key was that these two defendants engaged in felonious conduct," he said. "they schemed to steal from would-be johns, and now they will have to suffer the consequences of what they did--particularly to mr. george."

the consequences are bleak. parra and nava remain locked in the orange county jail. early next year, they’ll both be transported in chains to their new, permanent home: state prison.

there, nobody pays for sex.

Realistically, do you expect any less than $40 + $100 for half hour? That's the LA rate for years and the OC rate is higher for similiar quality.

The second car disappeared quickly, but I was gun shy enough I was not going to bring up business - I did ask some leading questions of her, but she kept the answers very uncompromising.

She told me she had to pay her brother-in-law some money and when we got to Carl's Jr, she stepped out of the car to make a phone call. She said it would be awhile before he got there and she would wait. She did give me her number which later proved to be bogus. About 10 minutes later I came back, just curious to see if she was still there, but was no where to be seen. There was another SW (really bad looking) hanging there by Carl's. I talked to her for awhile and she asked if I wanted to be her first for the day - she shared her woes about rent/cold etc. but she confirmed this other gal, who I dropped was working. I gave Jeannie $5.00 to help with her rent and left.
