Apologies for super long post in advance.
Been on the SA site trying to set up an regularly recurring arrangement sort of deal with one girl for awhile now, with really no luck. Normally they don't respond, just stop responding once contact is made, or they want something crazy for an allowance. This went down a couple of weeks back, and it's the furthest I ever got, but it still didn't go down. I can't post her link because she must have deleted her profile (I had my friend who also does this try it and he couldn't see it either, so she didn't just block me).
Anyway, she was 19, blonde and looking for help with college expenses. According to her she had several bills, a couple of them upwards of $$ that she had to take care of. I told her that we could get together and I'd knock out one of them, and if things worked well between us we could repeat and look at taking care of the others. She seemed really grateful and enthusiastic. Ok, cool so far.
I booked the hotel (did not want her coming to my spot), at a nice second-tier type place about an hour from me, which was close to where she said she lived. I checked in with her via text during the week to make sure we were still on, otherwise I was going to cancel the room. She assured me it was still on, so I let the reservation stand.
The night arrives and I get over there and check in about an hour beforehand. Now I brought some of my stuff like toys and lotion and things that we had agreed we were going to use, plus I brought a change of clothes in case I decided to actually stay the night. Wasn't sure if I would or not.
So she texts me about 15 minutes before arrival and says she will be about 30 minutes late. Ok that's no big deal, although I was getting antsy at the thought of getting her up in the room. You know the feeling. I'm just killing time, and finally right before she's supposed to get there I get another text asking if I'm there already and what room. So I give her the details figuring she's just pulling up. Not 5 minutes later I get another text where she says she can't go through with it because she just got her period. Er, what??
Sure, anything can happen, but really? Right at this exact moment? We could have easily picked a different day if there was any doubt.
I try to be understanding, in case she's just got cold feet and it's not really her period, but she stands by it. So I say 'ok some other time then' and let it go at that. Now I'm up in this room that I spent over $100 on and no girl is coming over. Great. At this point, I tried to salvage the situation and check Tinder / STG / etc. To see if I can find anyone I'm interested in enough in the area to come over so we can utilize this room.
But in the middle of that I had a thought.
This girl (if it really was a girl) knows I'm in the hotel, knows what room I'm in, knows I have "x" amount of money on me at least.
Am I being set up?
I didn't stop to think about it after that. I swept up all my shit in a whirlwind and threw it back in my bag, checked the place over as close as I could in a hurry and then I peaced out, going out one of the side doors without checking out. Head was on a swivel all the way to my car and then I bailed like Fast & Furious / Mission: Impossible, trying to check in case I was being followed, but there was so little traffic in my direction I would have seen anyone.
Now, was I just being dramatic? Probably. But I tell you I had a feeling. The hotel was not a crime-magnet by the hour notell by any means, but anything could happen. When I got home I took stock of everything.
She didn't know my real name, and I used a text app. Even the private picture I showed on SA was not me, but fairly close so they wouldn't be shocked when they saw me. The hotel had my real name, but I wasn't too worried about that.
I went back to her profile and I couldn't see it, so my first thought was that she blocked me. Then I called my friend who doesn't even live in this state and sent him the link and he told me it was gone, too. Alright. Still, even with all this cloak and dagger bs I had going in my head, once I calmed down my primary thought was that this was a 19 year old girl who needed money and thought she could do this, but at the last minute realized she couldn't, and made up some crap to get out of the situation, then deleted her profile out of shame.
After all, she never had to tell me the story at all, she could have just went silent, and when I opened the door, instead of her it could have been goons with guns.
But guys, I have to say, for that little bit there when I was snatching up all my crap and grabbing my coat and all I felt like that door could kick open any second.
I know this is a super-duper long post with essentially no "action", but I wanted to post it in case it makes anyone else think about their strategy when it comes to these meet-ups.

At this point, I tried to salvage the situation and check Tinder / STG / etc. To see if I can find anyone I'm interested in enough in the area to come over so we can utilize this room.
But in the middle of that I had a thought.
This girl (if it really was a girl) knows I'm in the hotel, knows what room I'm in, knows I have "x" amount of money on me at least.

I've done a lot of pre-planned hotel nights where I see SA girls and it does require some planning. I always line up plans with about 3-4 different girls when I go to a hotel. HG.I have heard too much about people having a hassle with the auto renewal stuff. When I want to chat, I use the app and do the 7 day trial for $20 or whatever it is now. I did one a few months ago, but don't recall exactly what it was. It doesn't auto renew. The only catch is you can only use the trial once. So I usually get all the intel I need and let the 7 days expire. Then, I will make a new account and wait until I need to gather some more intel.... Also note, if you use Apple, they no longer allow the app in the store. If you are savey you can find ways to get it.... I just use an old android tablet for the app.

But I will say in my case, the 4 or 5 times over the last 3 years I have paid for a premium membership, I always wind up saying to myself. I'm not going to do this again. For me, it's easier and cheaper in all aspects to find what I need on STG, CityX.
