I generally use the hotel chain that I have status with and call in advance to verify they are open / have any special procedures. I also have a reason prepared for why I'm there in case they ask. Worst case, meet the SB in the parking lot, check-in and come back out to get her or let her in through a side entrance depending on the vibe you get at the front desk. These places want to make some money so doubtful they will be asking too many questions.
