Had tried to connect with her a few times in the past while in Knoxville for business. Things just never did work out as it was usually pretty late when I got into town. Just spent a wonderful two hours with Dani. She has a few issues as she is trying to get settled, but we've all likely been there at some point in our lives. Ok as I just spent a great few hours with Dani this is as cooled off and fair as I can be.
As I said I experienced no-shows on both Tuesday an Wednesday nights. Let me be fair that each night Kel did call me and told me she was not coming. However, this was at best 30 minutes after she was scheduled to arrive and absolutely too late to get another appointment. The first night she called about the scheduled time and said she was running late, but just needed extra time to eat and let the dog outside. This visit is mostly vacation for me and I'm a night owl anyway so I tell her it's ok, just call me when she is leaving. She calls about 45 minutes later and said it has been a long day and could we please reschedule for tomorrow. I'm not thrilled, but by now it's after 10, so I say sure.
We rescheduled for 9 pm the next day. I finally get a text at 9:45 Wednesday night saying she is running late but will be there. She called at 10 pm and wanted me to tell her how she had verified me. Well she hadn't. Now when we first talked she asked who I had seen locally, and I gave her a few names. In her defense these gals have retired save one and she is really trying to retire. Kel said "you sound cool so lets just talk later". This isn't the first time this has happened so I just thought things were cool. Well now she says she can't come without verification. So now I scramble and start trying to get somone for her to contact. Once I finally had someone available that late I send her a text and she never replied.
So you all be the judge on respectful and grateful.
I was overboard on the freebie comment so I apologize.
I got a text today that basically said she was glad that she did not come, so I'm not holding my breath for the huge apology. I did not reply as it's not my goal to argue with her.
