Hi everyone. I am new to the AMP scene. I was wondering which AMP in the southbay area has the best looking girls. Also, I what are the risks involved in going to an AMP, (STDs and police). Thanx!

First of all, the best thing you can do is alot at least one hour of your time and read through the thread going back a few months and your questions will be answered very clearly.
Secondly, y'no how some people, when they go to Vegas, set aside, say, $500 just for gambling. Do the same with this hobby in a new area. Understand that you'll spend AT LEAST $120 for something at any amp. After a few hits and misses you'll find your way. We all did it that way and we all still do when new AMPs open up.
Third, do you mean Inglewood or the South Bay? It's too bad that the two were combined because Inglewood, with it's many, many AMPs and reputation for quickies has very little in common with the South Bay, which includes Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach, Redondo Beach, Torrance, Harbor City and Lomita. So, anyone familiar with this area know that Inglewood, LAX, etc should be a separate section.
At any rate, follow the first two suggestions then go have at it.

Yes Redondo Beach has 4 or 5 AMP's. But if I were you, I would head over to Gardena which must have close to 50 AMP's!! They are all over. Just go in & say you were there before about a year ago. Go in & enjoy. Every place does Weiner Wank, BJ, & FS. I am sure of it.

Sorry this is late. I had a weird work shift for the holiday weekend so while coming back from airport duties, I took Century from Aviation to Crenshaw. The indictment stemmed from an investigation by state education officials of a Los Angeles massage therapy school run by one of the defendants.
Sheriff's investigators served search warrants at several locations in September, including JHJ Education College, Oriental Acupressure in Inglewood and the homes of some of the suspects, according to the district attorney's office.
Investigators recovered $2.4 million in cash and evidence that led to the case being taken to the Los Angeles County Grand Jury, prosecutors said.
Authorities said many of the massage technicians employed by Oriental Acupressure were working under fraudulently obtained certificates declaring them qualified technicians. "

LAX Century Blvd 6-9-04 3:30pm
I made one pass from Prairie to Aviation on Century Blvd. I saw several LSWs. There was a nice figured LSW near Freeman, face=8 body=8 with a niiice rack. There were lesser LSWs past Hawthorne. REGARDING FANTASY CLUB

The place that you went to is "Club Fantasy" not "Fantasy Club". It is what is know as a "hostess dance club". I have well over 15yrs of experience mongering in these downtown LA places. There are still about 8 hostess clubs left in the area ( not taking into account the asian "b-girl" clubs).

I filled up my gas tank at Costco on Friday 6-11-04 at $2.38 for 91 octane. Since then, gas has gone down to around 10 cents less AND we're all supposed to be happy about that. What was gas about a year ago? Well, I think I recall Costco selling it for $1.55 for 91 octane. That's almost a freaking dollar more. It takes me about 25 gals for a full refuel. Went to the very small CAMP on Torrance, near Western about 2 weeks ago. I left happy. It was $35 at the door plus $40 tip for the masseuse. I gave her $10 extra for doing a phenomenal job.
I've been there before, and did a nice long 2 hour massage, which ended very quickly at the end.
I think only 3 girls work there, from what I was told. None of them are stellar looking, all between 5 and 7 in looks.
A free table shower is offered, but may be lackluster compared to other AMP locations.
It's not on the level of the Santa Monica places, given that it's not Santa Monica, but it's nice enough for quick relief.

FYI, with regards to KAMP locations in the South Bay (Torrance, Harbor City, Gardena, etc), keep in mind that many places are either completely legit or have only one masseuse leaving you happy. Due to current trends in Korea allowing for standard massage to both men and women, such places are bound to grow in popularity. Keep in mind that in Korea in a normal massage parlor, men will provide the massage and body wash for men, and women for women. "Hostess" Massage parlours (I've heard this phrase used to distinguish between the two) obviously only cater to men with women providing the massages.
There is even a "women only" place that has opened up on Sepulveda near Crenshaw, that is like the old stereotype of a woman's day spa.
So, the next time you go to a KAMP and don't receive anything extra, don't be so surprised if you NEVER receive anything extra, no matter which girl you pick or is picked for you.
Alternatively, some places seem to be going with just one masseuse making you happy, although not quite Santa Monica happy. You should head out to the IE for that, AFAICT, or to Santa Monica.
Be sure you go to the right place and I'm sure you'll get something extra.

A friend of mine took one for the team and tried out a new AMP on the corner of Crenshaw and 182nd right by the 405 in Torrance.
The place charged the standard $40 1/2, open til late, had a english-challenged mamasan at the door. Things were looking good, until he went by the rooms and saw windows on the doors to the rooms.

About 4 weeks ago and 6 weeks ago, I went to what appears to be a legit massage only place in the Rolling Hills Plaza (or Mall, whichever one it is that has the movie theatre). Keep in mind that there is a "Shiatsu" place there which is just that. It's basically set up like a Doctor's office with normal hours.
The Massage place appears to be legit only, but I could be wrong. My masseuse was mainland Chinese, and it appears to be a CAMP, but with a latina or two working there. It's possible that more than a regular massage is on offer, but I wouldn't bet on it given the nature of the location.
It's $60 for an hour massage, and I gave $20 tip to the masseuse as she does that Chinese thereaputic touch massage, which appears to be the basis of Shiatsu. The table shower is $55 and done in a very nice room. "J" was very nice and very cute but much older on second inspection. I thought at first that she was 20 or so, but she looks to be late 20's or early 30's.

My few checkpoints on whether a place is legit or not.
1. Does it use tip envelopes such that money never goes directly from client to masseuse?
2. Does it advertize in a regular newspaper?
3. Does it also or only advertize in LAWeekly, LA XPress?
4. Does it appear only in Chinese/Japanese/Korean Yellow Pages and not in the American ones? (Please keep in mind that I've left fairly happy from ones that did list only in the regular Yellow Pages)
5. Are the masseuses all recent immigrants from China or Japan or Thailand?
6. Do they offer a table shower? (This one can be iffy as a new "chain" called "Just Massage" opened up another location on the south side of PCH, near the Albertson's)
7. Do they promise "asian or latina" or "international staff" or "the youngest girls" in their ad(s)?
8. Is the masseuse wearing something sexy? (this seems to only apply to Santa Monica or similar places)
9. As others have stated, is the masseuse wearing a lot of makeup?

I have been living and mongering in the South Bay for the past 5 years. When I moved here, I didn't realize how much a Disneyland this would be for me. I'm not really into SW anymore, my main focus is on the AMPs. I probably visited about 90% of them located in the South Bay since I've been here.
Not all the AMPs here provide any extras, contrary to a few reports. I decided to list some of the legit places I know of, hopefully saving some fellow mongers some hard earned cash (no pun intended)!
1. Crenshaw Spa ( 182nd St in Torrance) Legit all the way.
2. Torrance Spa ( Sepluveda, near King's Hawaiian Restaurant) forget about it.
3. Bay Spa ( Artesia Blvd. Redondo Beach) Legit but good.
4. PV Massage ( Crenshaw near PCH, Torrance) Legit and average
5. Green Spa ( Redondo Beach Blvd, Gardena) Not even a good Massage
6. Don't know the name ( 901 Torrance Blvd) Cramped massage room and small table. It was a good place, but not anymore, maybe YMMV
7. King's Massage ( Sepulveda Blvd, Torrance, down the street from Torrance Spa) Great Legit Massage.
If you're wondering about a place that's not on the list, let me know. Either I haven't been there, or maybe I have but it's a place with exclusive info.

I can confirm Rock the Room's experiences at most of those locations, as they appear to be similar to mine.
I think though that a little more may be on offer at some locations, but ethnicity/language may be the key. I also think that it's possible only a little more than a massage is offered and possibly only by one of the women that work there.
That is my experience, anyhow.
I can confirm that you can get a massage worthy of a punching bag (you feel like one afterwards) at Green Spa.
The places that use tip envelopes seem to be either completely legit or mostly legit. Then again, I could just be going about it wrong.
For instance, in one place that I was convinced was completely legit, only after the 5th or 6th visit, did I wind up leaving happy. The massages were uniformly better than average, but the one I had was spectactular. She has to be the best masseuse that I've ever had. Keep in mind that this place had a small window on the door as well.
It may even never happen for you, depending upon the vibe you give off.
I also think that it may be restricted to those that are Korean only, due to LE pressure. This seems kind of a dangerous tack to take in the long run, given the increasing numbers of Korean-Americans joining the LAPD, including women.

I found about 6 AMP (probably CAMP) locations alongside the 210 from Pasadena into Glendale. It would seem likely that there are more, similarly placed.
I found listings for over 20 AMP's of various kinds (mix of CAMP and KAMP) in a Japanese yellow pages which also has an online version.
I even found one massage place that appears to be aimed at upscale folks with annual memberships and hours that run til midnight. The setup sounds like some of the fancier setups in China, with Chinese and Thai masseuses. I think some of the masseuses might be Koreans or Korean Chinese.

I just want to add my thoughts to a couple previous post about massage in South Bay area. I too have lived here for about 5 years and been to many of the Massage Parlors in the area.
Here are my experiences at some legit ( or mostly so) places>

Good to hear about the South Bay area. Just want to add that there are happy endings to be found along PCH in Redondo. It's been a couple of months since last visit but "chiropractic health" on Ave. B was such. 50/100 if I recall correctly. They had 3 technicians to choose from.

It may have been $40 at the door. It's been nearly a month (maybe a little more) since my last visit. As far as what I gave the girl, please keep in mind that I tip appropriately for the service rendered in accordance with what is normal for that service. What services garner what fees usually, can be found in the FAQ.
Also, I always tip at least $10 per half hour for a good massage, simply because I like getting a good massage. If she is a very good masseuse and also leaves me happy, then she'll get what is appropriate for her level of service.

I had to work early today so I passed near the airport. On Prairie Ave, just north of Imperial Blvd, there are some motels where some action could be had. Also, while filling up at the Arco on La Cienega and Century, there's a red box full of escort ads. Actually, you're in walking distance of the "Live Nudes" place next to the Carl's Jr. Also, the Jet Strip near Lennox and Hawthorne Blvd is a nice spot for hottie strippers. I've never had takeout but you can get some high mileage in the lap dance rooms there. Pricey way to get your rocks off though, IMHO. Thanx for your info regarding fortunebowl area. I went there the other day around 4p and found nothing but the old rundown apartments that have seemed to have hidden from me for over 20years. I don't see many sw's in the area - though i'd expect it near the liquor store or inside wienerdog. We should have lunch some day and compare notes. Untill then, I'm proud to share my 1st post with you all.
Cruised by Virgil(?) and Fountain(k-town) going up and down virgil as far north as SM bvd and even a little on vermont. this was around 2-3pm Sat. If you don't mind all the traffic, and a quasi-slummy area then I highly suggest this place for 'shopping'. I was soo shocked at what i seen that my heart is racing even now (2hrs after). I wish I wasn't so paranoid of getting pulled over, otherwise i would have tried to get some service. At first i didn't think these were chicks of 'service', which is why i spend so long going up and down the street. I don't want to spoil a good thing, so all's i'll say is that I know these girls weren't walking home from school because they were walking up and down block with only a tiny purse that barely fits on their shoulder. Damn near EVERY single one of them had on one of those new trendy mini-skirts that so many teens are wearing this summer with the slight ruffles on the ends. They were mostly hispanic. I went by Lorenzo's KAMP in Gardena the other day to check out Coffee. They say different strokes for different folks but I wasn't impressed at all. IMHO the only redeeming quality that she had were a pair of very nice breasts. Other than that there was nothing that impressed me. I think that she's about 40 y/o. It's me again, long time listener - 1st time caller. I went to this spa place in lomita near a Chevron & chinese restaraunt. At first I thought I was wasting my money because they displayed all these lotions and oils in the front; I guess it's an aromatherapy type place. Anyways, the staff is also misleading since they are not foreiners and appear to be regualar massage school graduates. They are aprx 30yrs old. I went to Acutherapy on Century Blvd. I think only Koreans at this amp. This is the place with what look like one way mirrors on the front windows. The usual $50 for admission. I got this little spinner and thought, oh boy! She's going to be tight. After the clothes came off I saw the tell tale sighns of motherhood, so she was not quite so tight afterall. She requested $100 for evrything and I complied. It was an average experience. I did enjoy having the mirror in front of the bed to see this from 2 views. I will note at this time that in over ten years of mongering, I have been pulled over only twice. Once was just misfortune....I had picked up an sw in Long Beach and had her smoking my schlong on a dark, quiet sidestreet with lots of cars. It just so happened that an undercover officer in a raised pickup rolled down that street and spotted us only because he was in a raised truck. A black and white came by a minute later and we had cleaned up and were fully clothed by then. They let us go. The other time was an f-up too. I was headed home on PCH from a friends house and saw a couple sw and wanted a closer look. I turned around the block and according to the cop(who was one block behind me at night in the dark) I did not come to a complete stop at a stop sign and
Cop: "let me give you an honesty check....are you out here picking up prostitutes?"
Me: "No officer, why in the world would you think that?"
Anywho, back to Century. It was a Sherriff that pulled me over. I believe that West of the 405 is LAPD, 405 to Inglewood is county(Sheriffs), and east of Inglewood is Inglewood PD. Cop says "show me your hands". I stick my hands out the window. I'm guessing the cop was a bit surprised to see a pair of white hands poke out of the window. I hear a nearby resident say that there are cars driving up and down the street to pick up hookers and the cop says that is why he is pulling me over. Cop comes up to the window and asks what I am doing. I say that I am driving around. Let me note that I am very disappointed with myself. I got nervous.....mostly I think because I did not know why I was pulled over. Its been a very long time since I've been pulled over for anything and I usually have been able to completly keep my cool when I've been pulled over.
So then the cop asks where I stay. Instead of being smart and telling him I live in city XXX, I tell him that I do not stay in the area. He asks the question again. He then asks if I am on probation. I am totally thrown by the question and say "huh?". He asks the question again and I say "no". Then he asks if I have a gun in the car and I stupidly say "I have nothing in the car that should not be here". He asks the question again(see a pattern here). I say no. He asks for a drivers license and asks if I am "whoring". I say "what"?(I truly did not understand the question...wtf is "whoring"?) and he rephrases. Instead of doing the smart thing and saying "no", I say:
"have you seen me talking to anyone?"
"approaching anyone?"
"doing anything but driving around?"
He and his partner proceed to lecture me about the dangers of picking up sw in the area. He also tells me that he did not know who I was because he could not see me. I never really believed racial profiling before this, but it seems that he would not have stopped me if he knew I was not black or a pimp. One of the cops was causcasian and one was either Latino or South Pacific(Tongan, samoan, etc.). I couldn't determine for sure. The Latino/Samoan one also told me that they(Sheriffs) don't care if guys are picking up sw's(bullshiot, I've seen Sheriffs cars arresting prostitutes in the area), but that Inglewood PD will "haul your ass away". They let me go.
So the lessons learned are:
1.) I won't be picking up sw on Century anytime soon. Hopefullly the bastards don't stop me on the way to and from HP as I frequent there often.
2.) Don't f-ing talk to the police and if you do, give direct answers using as few words as possible.
3.) Cops can pull you over whenever they like, PC or not.
4.)Avoid Cherry.
Responding to an earlier post, just out of curiosity if LE spots a monger and a girl in a car LEAVING a motel (no tell or otherwise), where is his (her, there are sows in these cars) rationale for stopping them? The deed is done, there is no money evident, nor evidence of prostitution activity,, for all the pig knows it could be a boyfriend and girlfriend whom have nowhere to go to get it on due to a roomate situation, so why is LE able to stick their snouts in such a situation? Are you suggesting that there are areas of town in which a solitary male and female are no longer allowed to drive down a public thoroughfare without being hassled by LE? This sounds like something the attorneys and the ACLU should be looking into. The key phrase in reasonable suspicion is REASONABLE! If any pig ever stopped me and a girl leaving a motel, you can trust that the entire thing will be recorded and my attorney will be pursuing the matter forthwith. Pig Bratton if you and your minions are reading this be forewarned. Mongers with tape recorders are monitoring your every move, be afraid be very afraid!

Last night, Friday 7/30.
I got a case of the munchies, so I decided to truck down to Del Taco on PCH in HC. Pulled into the drive thru to get a few tacos and a strawberry shake (Del Taco got the best shakes). Nah. I used a jimmyhat (but she was really keen on jumping on top without a cover! Don't know why though). That's why I call it the monger duffelbag. While I was waiting to get on the 105West entrance from Vermont Ave, I spotted a likely BSW working the Magic Carpet Inn area south of Vermont and Imperial. Her body definitely looked to be an 8+. However, LE is all over this area, probably as it is a good spot to reach both the 110 and the 105.

There was absolutely no LE (lurking, that is) but no girls either from La Cienega to Figueroa. However, there was a wicked accident at Western and Century that had traffic on westbound Century backed up for blocks. I counted maybe 5 cruisers and 5 ambulances.

I spied that one superfine BSW near the Tam's. This was the one BSW near 104th that just wouldn't talk to me. Face=7? (youthful, clear complexion, no missing teeth but not my cup of tea) body=9 niiice C-cups and an small, tight chassis (usually the black girls have the extra rumpage going on but this one has a nice, tight, small apple ass). BTW, she was wearing denim daisy dukes with a red, string bikini top. I had to try once even though she was at the payphone next to Tam's which was busy with customers.

I continued north where LE was nonexistent until I hit Florence where I saw 2 cruisers. ALso, there were three BSWs, all thick 7s at best.

I had to drop an employee to his place near Lennox and Prairie. I took the time to cruise Century from Prairie to La Cienega before heading back to work. Nothing EXCEPT a thick WSW at Fremont just before the 405 rampway. She did that look at me and I shot it back. It was kind of funny though since the streets were sort of barren she did the look at me all the way from Buford! That was like at least 100 yards away from where she was! On the turnaround, I used Fremont and the driveway of the Polish Flower shop. There was a dark-tinted white Ford SUV parked there. I got bad vibes but not of the LE kind.
Me: Hi. You're looking good. Need a lift?
Her: You have $100? (WSW, drawn eyebrows, face=6.8 body=thick 7.5 and big rack, wearing a black evening gown)
Me: (rolling eyes) Sorry I asked.
Even if she was hotter (BTW, that painted eyebrow look does nothing for me. How about the rest of you guys?), that white Ford was in the back of my mind. Literally and figuratively.

This Inda chick works the Century/Figueroa area near the Tam's. She's around 5'5" and wears not too obvious clothes. She's well-spoken. It's just that in the 5 or 6 times previously that I've encountered her, she always says, "50? I promise you'll have a good time." Usually, I'll smile at her and tell her, "Next time then."
$25, CBJ (she wouldn't do otherwise), 5 minutes. The problem was it was daytime and she had me park on a certain street out in the open. I had trouble getting hard. She seemed to act like it was a normal thing to do it like this, so exposed. I didn't get relief but at least I got her voicemail.

She wanted me to get out and walk to the motel where she had a room. I smelled ROB or worse!

Unfortunately, she aimed slightly askew, and I shot myself twice all over my own shirt. :( Sad, but relieved. ;)

Has anyone ever seen some action close to the El Segundo and Hawthorne intersection? Last Friday I was on my way to catch the 405 south on El Segundo and a few blocks after the library passing Hawthorne on El Segundo I see a WSW, about a 6/7 in some high heels around 8:45ish. Just when I turn around to catch another glimpse I see her hopping in to someone's car.
Just thought maybe someone had seen this girl or spent some time with this girl?

As for the area, met up with a mixed (mostly Latina, some black and italian) SW around 109th and Prairie. Goes by Rachel, out from Pomona to stay with family for a few months. Says she's been at it 2 months (just this summer), 20 y.o., tight thin body, nice average A-B cups. Took her to a motel on Imperial. $20 for the room, and $50 for CBJ and mish. Doesn't like other positions, otherwise it would have been perfect.
