I have found a number of jewels on Facebook. A friend request starts the convo. There are scammers on there so you have to be careful. But there are also legit women looking for a little extra income.That sounds very risky. A lot of women are dumb and would be offended at such a request, and then can report you to FB. And then they could easily close your account.

Yes there are encrypted messaging apps, but plenty of women on there aren't going to want to use them. For me personally, my primary goal is that a woman can't figure out who I am and for that, it doesn't really matter how I pay for the phone. It just can't be associated with my name online. I bought a cheap SIM on Amazon with a recurring monthly prepaid plan and put that in an old phone. I also mainly use Google Voice for messaging. The NSA and the FBI aren't policing sugar babies or prostitution unless you start trafficking women or dealing in other illegal activities way more serious than this.

I guess that's cool to weed out the scammers. Is it worth it to verify on our side? I see some girls saying verified accounts only now. Should I ignore that, and just keep messaging without verification?

I sure wouldn't verify myself and don't even have a photo of me on there. And I have more SBs on deck than I can possible get to, so it's all good.

It was set up more as a social media site rather than a dating site.
The things I noticed on this most recent round were.
1) Most useful features are now behind a paywall (still free to message though, so there's that).
2) Bots EVERYWHERE. Like 90% of the profiles I was clicking on had a join date of today / yesterday.
I think it's a lost cause unfortunately.

The chat feature was awesome, and little bit of game and the promise of Wendy's and it was on and popping. This died with the rise of Instagram and snapchat when they tried to pivot to that model.
