The key to your question revolves around trust. When a SB requests an allowance up front (pay at start of month and meet during the month), once she has the money her benefit has been "booked". Your benefit is "deferred" and you expect it to be fulfilled during the month. In effect, it requires you to trust her, but she is not required to trust you.
As an aside, there can be several reasons why SB request their monthly allowance up front. The SA site (and many other sources) set that as the norm. The SB may be trying to minimize their own risk in getting stiffed (guys play and don't pay). The SB is just looking to take your cash and never meet (large score cash & dash). After the SB has the cash, she may try to change the arrangement to be more beneficial to her (less meetings, won't stay as long, limited activities). Some SBs need to keep the money and activities separate so they can avoid the transactional stigma (I. E. Feeling like its prostitution).
So, to keep from getting burned (and wasting my time), I use the following approach when a SB requests her allowance for the month up front (assuming its not for the last reason. There are other ways to address that).
I propose that they receive their monthly allowance at the end of the month in which we have met according to our arrangement. At this point, most scamming SBs disappear. Some SBs will claim that isn't fair to them since they have to trust that you will provide for them later. At this juncture, I point out that they proposed that I trust them when they wanted their allowance up front. So, if they aren't willing to trust me (pay at end of month), why should I trust them (pay at start of month). For those SBs too dense to understand this perspective, I don't want to involve myself with them and we part ways at that point. For those that understand the trust dilemma, I propose the "pay as we go" approach until such time as trust has been built.
Results: I successfully avoided those SBs that I wanted to avoid (scammers, dishonest, thieves, manipulators). Two SBs accepted the option of getting paid at the end of the month. Over 20 SBs went with the pay as you go approach. Of those, about half converted over to monthly allowance once trust was built. The others didn't convert over even though the trust was there (don't fix what ain't broke). Many of my arrangements have gone beyond 2 years and its split 50/50 on monthly versus per meet.
Every SB & situation is different so I don't try to make them all the same. I do what works for the two of us. However, I don't front the cash. Each SB knows what to expect from me and I deliver, as promised. They stay happy and I avoid requests for cash for all types of "emergencies" .

I use a google voice number for all of my texting and today I got a weird message telling me I can remove all of my information from online by going to guaranteedremoval.com. At first I didn't think anything of it, but then I googled my number and sure enough it shows up on a predatorsalerts.com site along with my SA profile pic and says I offer money for sex. The pic really is me, but my entire head is completely blurred and I've never used that pic anywhere online for it to show up in an image search. The one thing I find scary about this is that I have sent my real face pic via text, but I can guarantee that will now change. I'm very careful about my privacy, but it still doesn't sit very well to see that there even though it couldn't be traced back to my real identity.I wanted to follow up that I also submitted a remove request to Imgur and they took the picture down. The posting is still on the site, with the number, but the image is gone. Maybe if enough people request removals, Imgur will remove all of their content and block them. The entire site is a clear violation of the TOS.

I suggest reading the profiles well and put some thought into the messages, refer to something in the profile make them feel special. I think some quality messages to a few is better than saying "Hey" to 100 girls. Keep the chat light and use some humor if you have it. If you are liking them, give them your number, sometimes they will message, sometimes they will respond with their number for you to contact. At some point drop "I would really love to meet you soon as possible. ".
I found if you waiting more than a few days to meet is not ideal.

This a million times over! They are not going to be living with you, and how long do you really see and talk to them in total? Being nice, asking the right questions about them (everyone loves someone who shows interest in their activities / hobbies) and acting like you care go way further than the money as hard as it is to believe. My Advise: Be a god-damn gentleman! I wanted to add three things.
1) Stick with your spidey sense as others have said. Don't let your spidey sense get overruled by Mr. Happy. You will get your dick wet, and they are out there. You just have to play it safe. I'm very good at reading people, talking, etc. And I got fucked over once in the beginning too. I would of posted her info, but her number and profile were already probably down before I even came in her.
2) If you are going for the #2 or #3's, once you get their number (I've always received a real cell number) I have always been able to plug the number into Facebook search bar, and immediately find their FB page. You know almost 100% then. I haven't run into a fake FB account yet, but follow your spidey sense again when looking at it.

I wanted to follow up that I also submitted a remove request to Imgur and they took the picture down. The posting is still on the site, with the number, but the image is gone. Maybe if enough people request removals, Imgur will remove all of their content and block them. The entire site is a clear violation of the TOS.

This is almost full proof. Every Pro I've run into, I don't find anything on the facebook phone search. This is an excellent first step! You can pay a few bucks for a phone search too, but FB is pretty bullet proof.Good tips and you are right that the Pro's will not want to text much and have normal conversation. One of them from SA told me recently, "so be sure when you're ready and quit calling me until then". And I hadn't called her and was just texting. But she was obvious. I stumbled on the Facebook number search by accident. I think it boils down to two things:
1) You have to have a Phone number when signing up for your Facebook account. Most people did that along time ago and forgot. Even if you delete your number, I think it's still searchable.
2) You actually have to go into security settings and say "Don't be searchable by phone number" or lock it down to friends only.

How the hell can the site delete a persons account without telling them why. It's just one day your deleted with no reason why. How can they do that?
