Desi I so appreciate your post. I've seen Katie twice, both times the services rendered were top notch. I recently signed up and the site recently discontinued payment via paypal. I also tried a prepaid debit card which also failed. (said something about incorrect address) I was successful with using itunes payment after downloading app on iphone then funding with itunes card found at most grocery stores where gift cards are sold. Mo.Yes, I was going to suggest the same. Protonmail accts are free and you can usually set them up behind a VPN as well and it won't make you verify a phone number, etc. Sometimes it does, but most of the time it's just a CAPTCHA.
Google has gotten terrible at this point and will give up your info to the gov't in a second, so Protonmail is better. And it's not 100% either but less likely to f*ck you (in a bad way).
I strongly encourage a good level of paranoia at this point and especially in this particular hobby.
