Liebermann, are you saying that Popi/Pepi is now working at Paradise under the name Pink? That's kinda strange, especially considering that Paradise used to have a different girl that used the name "Pink." Nice to know where she is now, I haven't seen her for a loooong time since I refuse to pay Rainbow prices. But now I know where she is, thanks for the update. BTW, as CaptAm22 says, Panorama is now called Sakura. That's how they answer the phone. Same management owns and/or runs Osaka (World) and Sakura, so its possible that the Candy that Ynot saw at Osaka is the same Candy I saw at Sakura. The only thing special about her that I'd add is that she had great muscle control and nice technique. Not that she was a cold technician, but like Ynot says, nothing great or special but no disappointment.

Sakura still has Naomi. There's another girl named Chantel or Channel, about 35+, cute enough, thin-med build. I haven't seen her but she seems to be a sweet and genuine charmer as far as I can tell from talking to her in the hall. She seems to have quite a competitive streak so if you end up with her, I'd recommend commenting on the great service you've gotten with other girls. If you think you can pull off the lie, tell her that you've seen both Naomi and Candy and that you wish you would have gotten one of them again. Trust me, trust me, trust me on this. I'm positive that this is how you will get a peak performance from her.

And thanks to everyone for holding the line on prices. Ynot, it seems that Paradise, Osaka and Sakura always push hard for the $160, but always cave in when you go for the clothes. Its just part of the game right now. Maybe there's some value in not returning to the same place for a long time after a hardcore upsell attempt. Then when you do go back, let them know that you stayed away because you hate to squabble over the tip when other places will cheerfully accept $100-$120.

There were a few times that the girl came down in price to 100-120 when I went for my clothes, but I continued to get dressed. When she asked what's wrong and reiterates that she accepts my offer, I tell her I'm leaving anyways. I say she ruined the mood or karma and that I'm going someplace that will cheerfully accept 100 without even batting an eye.

Both the girl and the mamasan will practically go through the roof when you do this, but stay calm. On a few occasions I've had to wrestle each piece of clothing from them and had to actually physically struggle against both of them to get out. It was totally nuts. They are not shy about using all of their strength to hold you back. And you can't do anything that would hurt them, you can't shove or take a swing so you end up dragging the two of them to the door. One time the mamsasan had herself braced in the door way and didn't move until I pulled out my cell phone and threatened to call 911.

But no matter what, you can't get mad. Do not show anger. Stay calm and pleasant, but demand what you want. Anyways, after one of those episodes where you walk out even after they come down to $100, they will NEVER again ask for $160.

Now keep in mind, guys, that I'm just as new to the girls and mgt at Osaka/Sakura as everyone else. I've been in both places 2 times each and have yet to tip over $100 for fs. Also remember that Sakura advertises one flat fee of $40/hr so when you pay mamasan remind her that you expect the full 60 min.

I know I said I'd be gone and here I am crackin' the whip. Everyone's doing great and I'm pushing for more. BAM! Kick it up a notch!

Your right their use to be a Pink working at Paradise with great muscle control that also worked at Tokyo and World. But this isn't the same Pink now working at Paradise. Pink @ Paradise is Poppi/Pepi from Rainbow. The funky good looking A cup 20 something slim girl with an upbeat attitude. I agree with Realfun. We have to bargain hard and not fold into the girls demands for 160. I use to pay that cause i was young and naive to this hobby. I thought that's what everbody paid and that was the standard rate. but i realized that this girls are hustlers and they try to get the max out of their customers since they are only going to be at the AMP for a week to a month. Why should they try to please us if there going to be eating rice in Korea counting our money. They often don't get repeat customers. 100/120 for FS is still alot of money. Considering these girls come from a 3rd world country. Our hard currency converted to their currency will buy their familes a castle and a life supply of rice. In Korea it costs 20/50 US dollars to have a hot young girl for a whole day of fun. So 100/120 is more than generous and 160 is highway robbery. To the guys who don't care about paying 160 cause they can afford it and it don't matter to them. That's great for you, but have some respect for the other guys who can't. Keep the market stable and RIGHT. Don't flood the market for EXPLOTATION. Explotation leads to inflation and inflation leads to destruction.

P.S.
Think of bargaining at an AMP as Haggeling at a market in Istanbul. The services are always marked up but no one ever pays for the 1st given price besides a fool who got suckered. I know we are Americans and we like our fixed cost system. But we are not buying a can of soda pop.

She didn't ask for more $ but the nature of my complaint was that she didn't have the sensitivity to figure out that I had had enough. No sense in flogging a dead horse. A post FS cuddle or massage would have been more pleasant and less frustrating - and I did try to express that.

More news update, not just from TV, and related to LM shops again, although no one here has been going to those, I'll still throw it out there. Was going to go for old time's sake last night, but they were all closed early, apparently according to the new ordinance. Now, I thought they'd have until like the first week of Oct. but I do know they lost court appeals on Thursday for overturning the ordinance, and apparently gave in on the hours issue. I'd still like to hit early, perhaps before 10p in the next week, to see if they complied with the privacy doors issue (rendering the business completely useless in our case). As far as AMP busting, i'm guessing Rainbow may be an isolated instance, and is really more a target by it's neighbor than the others (even Paradise, which is close to a major rent a car business). I may have to give up the idea and hit an AMP after all instead. I'm interested by the idea of Pepi/popi being at Paradise. Anyone else that's seen her since the move, please let me know if you're getting by with the 120. Who else is there right now?

Stopped at Paradise wanting to see Pink (aka Pepi), but she was busy with another customer. Told Mamasan that I would come back later...

To waste some time, I decided to cruise the usual sw areas. Not looking for a date, just for entertainment and curiosity. I only saw a few very nasty looking girls. One girl was so messed up, she took a tumble right on her face as I drove by (the sw waive and walking was more than she could handle). Believe me bro, no one would say I look mean. Or tough or stern or anything like that. Most of these girls think I have a babyface. Most will under-guess my age by about 10 years. Most of my life I've been treated like a pushover. If anything, people tend to think I look naive.

After she got done bitchin', how was the service? Most of the time, once she returns to the room after taking the money to mamasan, she'll act as if you had tipped her the original amount. If you say you only got down to 130 then its probably because she could "sense" that you'd pay that much.

You can't get sucked into appearing to be emotionally engaged in the negotiating, the way she is. If she appears disappointed, don't express sympathy or concern. Show no emotion, shrug her off. The more expressive she gets, the more aloof you become. Stand firm at 100. After about 30 seconds of her pleading and you staring blankly, act really bored and restless. For example, if you're standing by your clothes with a towel on as you negotiate, then throw up your hands, turn your back on her, drop the towel on the floor and lay down on the table - face down and turn your face away from her. As she prattles on about how much you need to pay and why, just say "yeah, yeah, yeah... $100, that's it. Come on, lets go."

If she refuses to accept it then look slightly miffed and get one more $20. If she refuses that, then take all your money back from her and leave. Don't bluff, don't threaten, don't show emotion, don't even speak. When she begins to freak out (she will as soon as you begin to get dressed), continue to look bored, amused, content, etc. Don't even look disappointed that you just wasted your time.

Strider, you got played hard by one girl. I don't know if that's enough to read too much into that. That's unusual for Tokyo to be like that. I don't think it shows any kind of trend. No matter how hard you negotiate, you can still occasionally run into some chick that's just totally hardcore. I once had a so-so 40ish chick demanding a $200 tip. She was pissed that I got her talked down to $160, and she DEFINITELY wasn't even going down to $159. I split. On my way out, mamasan seemed to back her up. I was a total cherry in the AMPs at the time and I remember thinking these people must be high. That was at Tokyo.

Also, I don't know if this applies to you, but don't dress to impress. This isn't the place where you want to show off that you make a decent paycheck, unless you don't mind paying extra. Even if you're rich, go in with jeans and a t-shirt and raggedy shoes, and underwear with holes in them. No hair gel or expensive jewelry. IF you got a fat wad, save it for impressing girls you're trying to pick up.

Mostly, maybe the best bet (at least at first) is to go see a girl that's been reviewed as being easy to negotiate with. Like Naomi at Sakura or Jennifer at Paradise.

OK, guys, I need a little help. I will have time to go down there soon and I don't have time to shop around. I know that not everyone here is posting every visit so here's a specific question: of everyone you've seen at the AMPs (either for a session or even in the halls) who is the youngest slender girl available now? Naomi's service kinda went down hill for me a little, (she's still real nice, but with me she's just gotten a bit too fake, overacting, etc) and for some reason lately I'm in the mood for a real young looking girl. I'm sure you already know my response - Pink/Pepi. She's the only one I'm aware of that matches what you're looking for and provides the great service. I'm sure you've already considered her. I'm just wondering how she's taken to accepting lower tips.

There is one other current girl I've seen at Paradise, but I can't remember her name. If it comes to me I'll post. She wasn't anything great. Average in just about every catagory. She doesn't match the description of what you're after. She has a couple extra pounds on her and her service was uninspired. Not someone I would recommend.

I've found that the same philosophy works best at the AMP. I don't negotiate anymore (start low and move up from there). I name the price and that's it. Also, I only take in what I want to tip. I put 120 in my pocket - then it's truly "all I have on me". Maybe I'm just paranoid, but I'm wondering if they check your pocket to see how much cash you have when your in the shower or sauna. It may be just a coincidence but I haven't gotten the upsell when I've had only 120 in my pocket. When I've had a little more in my pocket, I've gotten the upsell. Again, call me paranoid (I probably am), just something of noticed. They seem to know how much cash I have on me.

Strider, actually the point I was making was to bargain the way you say you're used to doing it in your line of work. I used to get all wrapped up in a tit-for-tat debate about how much the tip should be. I would get sucked into the girls' emotional appeals. Basically, I acted like I gave a shit about her feelings and like I cared about what she thought was fair.

Truthfully, I do care about her feelings. She's a person in a less than ideal situation. But letting her see that side of me during the negotiation phase is expensive. I can always express my true, caring feelings for her later on, when she has her legs in the air.

Has anyone spotted a girl that appears to be less than 23 y.o. lately?

Found myself in Rockford yesterday. I went by Tokoyo but there were a few characters on the street looked a bit scary so I didnt feel comfortable parking there. I swung by Rainbow, but with some past so-so experiences there , I thought that I would try Paradise. By the luck of the draw I was rewarded with Pink. WHAT AN EXPERIENCE. Sweet, sexy, reserved, young ...What can I say. I paid the house fee of $40 for an hour. I had great very soapy shower with some nice contact. a good half hour massage. I gladly paid the $160 for FS. She was worth it. Sorry if I screwed up the curve, but sometimes you pay for what you get. There was a nice CBBJ and some great FS. No attempt at a second cup, but by that time I was drained. In my book she is definitely worth the $$ and is a person that should be treated very well.

I will be honest and up front with you so don't take it personally. First, what do you mean you found yourself in Rockford. Were you lost?

Second and more importantly. What the hell is wrong with you? With the economy the way it is prices should be going down. Why would you pay more? Liebermann is right....are you going to take her on a date? Would you pay $5.00 for a cheeseburger when everybody else pays $1.35 because it was really good? I don't think so.

These girls no matter how nice or how good of a job they do will begin to believe they are worth more and subsequently demand more. Some of us are on limited budgets and don't want to be priced out of the hobby by sweethearts like you.

Do us all and yourself a favor and take it easy on the unnecessary tipping. Thanks on behalf of all dedicated hobbyists.

FS prices at AMP's are the same as prices set for real estate. This means that we, as hobbysts, set the prices by paying the asking price or we stand and dictate our counter offer of what is reasonable and therefore maintain a strong standard between 120 and 160 for FS. And that payed price sets the going value.
The girl's attitude and personality is suppose to be above and beyond a GFE experience...that's why she is being paid for a service! As a matter of fact, that's one of our top ratings... "Attitude & Personality". If those are negative, then we advise to avoid seeing that girl no matter how pretty she is.
Rockford is the last horizon where the hobbyist can look forward to a nice situation and most of us have to drive 50 miles plus for some relaxing and stimulating massage therapy.
If you enjoy paying 200, then I suggest you check out Peking Spa in E Chicago, IN. Their the prices have been set as a standard at 200 probably by hobbyist willing to pay that amount and eventually it became the bargain price.
We have to learn to get up, and walk out when 120 or 160 is not enough for fs.
Once we set a trend and condition these bitches...along comes someone that just throws 200 at them and ruins all of the hard work we do to keep prices reasonable for us.

Had a bad time today @ paradise! I wanted to see Pink(I've seen Pink many times at Rainbow&Paradise). Pink came into room and was happy to see me. She greeted me with a hug and kiss. After the table shower and sauna she brought me back to the room. I gave her 120 for FS(that's what I gave her and she accepted the last time). She wanted 160. I went through this crap last time with her and got her down to 120. So I thought we had a understanding at 120 but she insisted on 160. She said everyone pays 160. I told her I always pay 100 and 120 for her cause she's special. I got dressed and she then said ok to 120. I said no I don't like be treated like this and told her there are 5 other AMP's and I don't get hassles like this. I told her I won't be seeing her again. I asked Coco for the 40 house fee back. She didn't like that and said I already had shower and sauna. I told her I come her a lot and I shouldn't have to beg back for what is mine. I told her to keep the 40 and forget about it. She said then my next massage will be free(house fee only). I left and didn't even want to bother checking out another AMP cause i was 40 down and I lost the urge for a massage if you know what I mean.

My point being if everybody keeps setting the cost for these girls at 160 that's going to be the fixed cost. I've been getting away with 100-120 for some time now. If we keep that the standard that's what the girls will expect. Anyway by me leaving I hope set the standard and next time for some other lucky guy who offers Pink 120 she will accept without attitude.

Remember 100-120 is alot of bucks for these gals especially when they send it home to their family in Korea(Their rich). These costs even lower than an escort in Chicago are still high. If prostitution became legal in the US you would see a drastic drop in the price level. The costs are only this high cause we are paying black market costs. Even if we pay 100-120 plus the house fee 40-60. We the buyer are getting screwed literally and financially.

Kaman - welcome to the Rockford board and thanks for a good report. I did a forum search on your other posts. Only 5 posts total so far but all of them are excellent. You seem to know your way around the hobby/amps. I can see where your coming from. With your past experiences at Green and Ace it must have been quite a blast to have the best that Pink/Pepi/Popi can offer. She's been a Rockford favorite for well over a year. When things go good with her, you get an experience that's in the top 90 percentile for AMP action.

You get what you pay for and if the girl goes the extra mile she should be rewarded. After they split their tip with the house and pay expenses and bills the girls aren't really making money hand over fist. Especially if they are sending some home. I don't think "these bitches" get many bennies like retirement, insurance or dental. Some of the girls have issues (gambling, drinking, reckless spending habits, immaturity, hopelessness, etc). I've seen girls become absolutely giddy when I give them a measley $20 extra as a post-service tip. "Little bee sucks the blossom, big bee gets the honey; poor man picks the cotton, rich man makes the money." (can anyone name that tune?)

Kaman paying $160 one time isn't going to do much damage. He went with his gut and had a good time. Somewhere among my reams of posts I mentioned that I negotiate hard upfront but occasionally VOLUNTEER an extra tip after we're all done. I also have no problem buying gifts for very special ladies, and Pink/Pepi is someone that's gotten a present from me.

As I become increasingly busy and my visits become less frequent I'm sure I won't negotiate to the hilt on every occasion. I've often been surprised at how good the service is even after a girl acts severely bummed when she is forced to accept $100 for fs. But sometimes the girl has me pegged because she knows that I reeeaaallly want to see HER and that I won't walk. Sometimes its just better to keep the karma intact and cough up $140 quickly. And if she can get it out of me (or anyone else) then she damn well deserves it.

Kaman tipped $160 after he had received a great shower and massage and must have sensed that great things were on the way. Oh, shit! Turns out he was right. Clearly he's not the only one tipping $160. Clearly we (rockford's heavy amp posters) are not the only ones tipping $100. One or two experiences in either category aren't going to be enough to tip the scales.

Liebermann, just because he paid her initial asking price doesn't mean that he was blatantly over-paying. The "500" comments are out of line. Its not as if Pink asked for $160 and he countered with "How about $180?" Why ask why he stopped at agreeing to paying $160. The fact is that he did, right? If she would have asked for a $200 tip my guess is that Kaman would've known that that price is a little out of line and would've hemmed or hawed a little. My guess is that he didn't have that much on him. My guess is that he's the kind of guy to not go into an amp with too much more than $200 total.

BTW Liebermann, is there a reason why you didn't report on the service you got from Pink when you tipped $120? I kept forgetting to ask you, and when I was at Paradise recently I was reluctant to ask for Pink because I didn't have enough on me by the time I got to Rockford (I only had enough to tip 120) and I didn't want to use an atm in Rockford. That info would've been useful for me. I saw Jennifer instead. Nice tan and long light colored hair. Service was OK, a little too technical; she's one of those girls that likes to "get fs out of the way" first then do massage. I hate that. But she's very attractive and skilled and some guys might really like her. $100 got it all but I think it tainted the session a little. She's a bit older and not into games or disappointments.

BTW, Kaman, if you want a girl with a similar build and nice attitude, I recommend Hannah. She's not as "nutty" and slightly less cute than Pepi but she's definitely tops. Since you really might have set a precedent with Pepi, don't despair because Hannah's a close second and she'll accept $100/$120 very easily. Hannah is a little more down to earth and "REAL".

Anyways, point being that in the whole city of Rockford there's probably no one that can match Pink's $160 service even if you did tip them $200. She's a legend. About the neighborhood around Tokyo: I agree that it doesn't look very inviting. But I've gone there all times of day or night and never had a problem. The people in that area really do look rough, I'll hand you that. But they seriously keep to themselves. I've brushed up against them plenty of times, including around bar time on weekends and no one EVER pays any attention to me. Not once have I ever gotten as much as a dirty look or snide comment. Just about any shitty slummy area I've ever been in that looked that rough had me scared for real because someone would inevitably talk to me (Harlem 2am on a sat; East St. Louis on a sat afternoon; the wrong side of the tracks in Amsterdam, etc). Try Tokyo during daylight on a weekday for starters. Its a great amp with the best mamasans and the most kick-ass cheesy muzak that really suits the place.

And of course y'all knew I'd have new information to post. Paradise has another girl that came over from Rainbow. I can't remember what her name was at Rainbow, but her name now at Paradise is Ruby. Pretty average all the way around, pretty face, long black hair. She's kind of laid back but very accomodating and fun.

Hey fellow hobbyists! Just stumbled across this not to long ago, so I figured I'd join the party. I've been visiting Rockfor and Belvidere for quite some time now. It's great to see a resource like this.

I've been to quite a few of the places in Rockford - but the past few times I've gone and visited the Exclusive Lingerie Boutique. Judging from past posts, it seems like this place is inconsistant like every other non AMP (but then again, haven't visited the Euro MPs in Chicago).

It's been a while, but to the best of my remembrance all the lingerie shops take plastic, or have an ATM that does (which makes it hard, like in a strip joint to use the excuse, "No I dont have money with tonight, I'm just checking it out...." They always try to point you to the ATM!)

Bath is right, the board has taken a bit of an ugly turn lately. Kamen took a beating in negative responses to his post. Some may have been a bit harsh and angry. He is entitled to his opinion on what a fair tip is. Kaman, I hope the responses you got don’t piss you off and prevent you from posting on the Rkfd board again. I for one, appreciate the fact that you took the time to post and share information. Not enough people do. With all the action going on in Rkfd, I’m amazed that it is always the same handful of people posting. It doesn’t help to be rude and chase people away just because they don’t agree with us.

I see the term “team” on these boards a lot... i.e. “took one for the team” ect. In a sense we are a team - we share information and work toward common goals. The common goal around here lately has been to hold the line on prices. People got pissed at Kaman because he went against the team goal without even the slightest bit of resistance. Members of the team felt it was necessary to say something in an attempt to get him (and the lurkers) to conform with the team goal. However, the rude comments and angry tones weren’t needed.

The truth be told, paying an extra $20, $40 or $100 for an AMP session wouldn’t hurt me. I could afford it. As far as “worth it”, ya it probably is when you compare it to an escort or an AMP in another city, but I haven’t been paying it because I’m trying (in a small way) to help out team members who can’t afford it. Maybe over the long run, some of these members will post information that can help me out. Personally, I’ll continue to work toward the team goal in terms of keeping prices down.

With that said, I’ll play devil’s advocate and stir things up a bit more. If anyone has an opinion, feel free to express it. Maybe we should tip more. Maybe we should forget the theory of holding down prices and raise the roof....Give them what they want and more. The reason I throw this out is because of the many conversations I’ve had with AMP girls in Rkfd. I always ask how they like working in Rkfd compared with other places (for example, California). The answer is usually the same - they don’t like it. “Hours to long, make more money in California”. They all want to get out of Rkfd. Maybe by keeping prices low, we are doing a disservice to ourselves by keeping the best girls from wanting to come to Rockford. Maybe the best girls (who have a choice) are avoiding our fair city because they can make more in other cities and work less hours. If this is the case, where do your values rank? Is price the most important thing or is quality the most important thing?

Just some things to think about, I need to go get laid.

SoulVitamin - you raise some intriguing points that I hadn't considered. I feel like I created a monster with this price-reduction-plan. When I started a few years ago it seemed that $120-$140 was the norm, I never heard a girl even ask for $160. That was before I knew how or even cared to negotiate. All examples below exclude Rainbow, which has been a steady $140 all along, with the occasional request for $160 which is easily refused.

Roughly speaking, throughout 2000 I paid $120/$140 because that's what they asked for.

In 2001 I started negotiating and occasionally got it for $100, never more than $120.

In 2002 I found it nearly impossible to get it for $100 even if I walked, and $120 was the going rate.

Then an interesting thing happened in the beginning of 2003. More often than not, I had girls demanding $160, yet I found it easier to get them talked down to an even $100.

For all practical purposes, between the middle of 2002 to present the number of AMPs in Rockford nearly doubled. Here's why I say that. At the time Paradise opened in summer 2002 there was: Rainbow - always fully staffed and open long hours; Tokyo - not as many girls but just as many hours and nearly as much traffic; between Royal (Fuji at the time) and Osaka (Sun at the time) you had very few girls there and very little traffic; and Sun had very limited hours. So its almost as if Fuji and Sun were the equivalent of one amp + Tokyo + Rainbow = three.

Once Paradise built up their clientele a bit, Sun changed to World, expanded their hours and got a little busier; Fuji became Royal and became much busier; then Panorama opened, changed management a few times and is now Sakura. I'm not sure how busy they are but they advertise pretty steadily. Point being that customer traffic and full staffing and full hours are now spread out among all six AMPs.

Point: I think the girls may not be making as much as they'd like due to the increased competition. What other city the size of Rockford has that many AMPs AND LS's to support?

At Royal I heard a couple girls complain about how much they have to split with the house compared to what they were used to in other cities. I'm not sure of the situation in other AMPs. At Royal and Paradise it seems that the younger girls there have a little less control over their assignments and movements around the country. At Royal but more so at Paradise they do complain about the grueling schedule. It would follow that they have a little less to say about the wages they can negotiate.

At Tokyo, the more mature ladies seem much more in control of their assignments and schedules; some even quit the AMP circuit to pursue other interests and then return later to make some quick cash. I think it would logically follow that they have more say in negotiating a better cut of the action for themselves. Most of the time their complaints are about some of the clientele that neighborhood seems to attract. (Not to put anybody down, but I'd guess the types of characters they refer to probably don't spend much time on computers anyways, if you know what I mean).

So through much trial and error I became really good at the negotiating game. If I walked out of one place, I may have ended up somewhere else paying the same price I just refused to pay at the first. I kept playing one against the other. On a few occasions, I had my mind made up that I was definitely going to end up seeing Yoko at Rainbow because that's what I really wanted. But on my way, I'd stop in at World just so I could refuse to pay $120 for fs and walk out.

I saw the increase in competition and I saw the opportunity. At first I thought it took a little long for fellow hobbyists on this board to follow suit. And someone here made a good point, that maybe I was getting some special leeway because I was such a frequent visitor. And that's probably true, since it wasn't uncommon for me to go 1-3 times per week.

But after MUCH persistence by SEVERAL hobbyists negotiating hard on SEVERAL occasions, it seems that we had somewhat of an affect. No way was one guy or a one visit going to make any kind of impact. And that goes true for overpaying. If one guy overpays every time he's not really doing any damage to all the supposed hard work that everyone else has put in.

When I read Kaman's first post here I was educated, amused and happy to see a new guy. I could see in his post that he respected our campaign to hold down prices, but at the same time found himself in a situation where he just went with the flow. Any of you that saw Pepi at Rainbow probably paid $60 for the hour (to get credit towards the free visit) and then tipped $140, = $200. And then you rip on Kaman for paying $200. D-U-H!

I can't believe that anyone here would think for a second that one guy (supposedly) overtipping one time would really set us all back. I can't believe how Lieberman blew things way out of proportion and attacked the guy with comments like "...why stop at 160 and give her 500..." WTF is that all about? Liebermann, when you say you left with a smile and showed them that you wouldn't be pushed around what you don't realize is that these girls are more perceptive than you give them credit for. Believe me, if you were no longer in the mood for what you originally set out to do, they could sense it on some level. You say you play to win. Winning would've meant that you would have gotten what you set out to do, either at Paradise or somewhere else. You didn't do what you set out to do, so you didn't win shit.

Check it, dude: you left the house with your balls full; and one hour and $40 later you returned with your balls full and more frustrated than when you left. You say they have no way of knowing what happened when you left. Man, I would love to get into a game of poker with you. I know Pepi and Coco well enough to know that if you left their place in a state of mind that prevented you from being able to fuck a wh*re then they could sense it like a dog smells fear, I don't care what kind of smug smirk you had on your face.

Liebermann, admit it: you had Kaman pegged all wrong, and you owe him an apology but who really gives a fuck we can all move along without it. When you and others consider these girls to be no better than sub-human bitches and ****** then you've got them pegged all wrong, too. And, more often than not they'll have you pegged dead on and they'll play you more than you'll play them. Word.

To Carpe Dium and Schtick: I appreciate that your comments towards Kaman weren't as venomous as Liebermann's and I see that you guys have tons of great posts in other cities. But I don't see where you've contributed much to the Rockford board or the scene to justify you jumping on him for doing damage to what you guys supposedly take credit for. Where are all of your posts about your several price-busting, risk-taking, time-cosuming, Rockford AMP visits?

But for a "certain type" of customer, God love 'em and all due respect etc, that extra $40 will buy a lot of Old Mil' and schwag-weed.

Tipping is always a fine mix between quality and cost, and how hard up you are at the time! For me, the price is right for SWs, but man, I like to get pampered and be able to stretch out and fully enjoy the experience. So after a tip, I know I'll be spending at least a Ben Franklin in any massage parlour. In my experience, treating the women like women usually will get you better service (especially repeat service). Of course, you're always going to run into the milkers and crack ho's. And hey this ain't California - the lower the price the better!

Hey all!

Finally made it to Chantilly Lace out in Rockford. One of Rockford's infamous lingerie modeling shops. Freaking lame. This was my first and most likely last time out there. I read in other posts that this is where the hottest lingerie girls were. Well, not this night.

I guess the modeling shops there are getting sweated down - so all the doors in each room have been sawed in half - allowing for easy access if someone wants to check in on a session. Once the session begins, they put a screen in front of the door, but still it's f'd up. It's the same across the street at Exclusive.

But in my mind that was a minor inconvenience. The bad thing about this was the service. I was in the mood for a two girl. So I walk in, there are two girls who look good - all wearing black and made up. Skinny. So I get the 2 girl.

Well, they dissappear for about 5 minutes to load up on coke - came back all giggling like freaks and sniffing their noses. Went back in the room and the "modeled". Ugh. Anyone know for sure how much money these girls make? Is it a split of tips or maybe the house gets a flat amount per customer and girl gets whatever is over that. If so, that might explain why they want more tips. If for instance the house gets $80 per customer (exclusive of the house fee) then the girl only gets the amount over $80. That may explain why they are more insistent on the higher tips. Just thinking out loud.

Was driving by Rockford on Thursday night, some type of big accident on the bypass had all traffic getting diverted into town so I figured I'ld look around even though it was not my original intention of doing so. First tried finding Jenny, a girl I had seen in town earlier but she was not around the area I sw her nor the place I dropped her off. Seems as if the cold weather has finally arrived and there seemed to be no SW out in the normal areas. Also the reposrts of the LS being closed early are correct I was in town about 11:30 and they all appeared to be closed. The fee splits are different all over the place. What I'm about to say normally isn't the rule, but it's a good rule of thumb.

In Northern CA, girls typically split the house fee. Try getting a refund there, it might happen, but quality is usually pretty good and mamasan tries to make it right. In South CA, I think the girls get no house fee (I might have this backwards). But, try getting a refund there, and you'll be lucky to _only_ leave angry (depending on what place you go to.) In one of those areas, North CA I think, the girls split everything, even tips (b/c most of the girls live there). In Toronto, iirc (also haven't been there in a while, damn job) girls get tips only and some percentage of the service fee. House fee goes to the house. The reason I'm not sure is b/c some of the girls live at the place. If no one lives there, then I think the house keeps a smaller percentage. It also depends on how much of a take is going on. In Hawaii, everyone gets a cut, even the taxi dude. Reference fees are huge in HI, I think the reference is a straight fee. Girls and house take a percentage. In England, girls get a small fee off the house (it might be pooled), and split the service fee; or, house gets the house and splits some of the service fee; or, girl gets all of the fee. It depends on what house you've been, too, and how much of a taskmaster the madame is. In Ireland, a lot of the houses are IRA owned, or so I hear. I took a lingerie tour. Guys you don't have anything to worry about. Business is same as usual. The shops just changed their closing hours. Today I called Royal, they said they've been open normal hours all week, they just didn't get to the phone in time on Wed night when I called. Sakura says that Sakura and Osaka will be open on Fri. Tokyo is open as usual, they never closed. I think the mamasan was trying to tell me that they'll close a bit earlier on weeknights (about midnight) but I'm not sure if I could understand her right.

I called Rainbow pretty late tonight (thu), like between 12:30 - 1am I called a few times and they never answered. I called Paradise a few times throughout the day on thu, no answer all day.

As I was driving around Wed night it seemed that everyone except Tokyo was closed and Sakura was the only other amp to at least answer the phone. To top it off, LE was real heavy all over the city. As I cruised down State from I94 to 7th, then down Broadway to Harrison I saw about a dozen squads. And just about no other traffic.

Overall I think its pretty unlikely that there'd ever be a connection between heavy patrol officer presence on the street and any type of AMP crackdown but it was just eery to be seeing far more squads than civilian cars and all the AMPs and LS's closed.

So while things were looking pretty dark on Wed night, it turns out that at least Sakura/Osaka, Tokyo and Royal will be open. I hope Paradise and Rainbow are back soon.

BTW, to Bath: I don't think the game would cause the AMPs to close. Most of the girls don't care about American sports.

I swear, everytime I try to post here, the server is down, I'm not complaining...just stating a fact.

Anyway, I had an error about the fee splits: if the girl _does_ live there, then the house takes a greater percentage. Oh, and in the UK, massage parlours are considered dodgy.

Getting info is usually done by talking to the taxi people, or other guys waiting in line. Doing this for quite a while and throwing wads of cash around helps, too. Gradually, you start piecing things together. Then, to confirm, talk to the girls. It's easy to convince them that you're "in the know" if you can talk shop. These girls love talking shop. They always want to know where you've been, if they're a lot of other girls of their race (e.g. Koreans, Chinese, Thai (the big three, btw, in order, you're hard pressed to find other asians, like Flips, Japs, Malaysians, Singapore, Taiwans, etc.) If you can put together rudimentary sentances together in their native tongue, with some info, and always compliment them, they'll open up even more. It also helps to be less white, and not black (no offense, they'll service you, but they probably won't talk to you, unless they like you).

I didn't know that the women stayed there in Rockford. Honestly, I've only been to a couple, but it doesn't look like there's enough room for beds. Also, another weird thing about Rfd, the prices are very "sticky" (economic term). What's the stnd price? $1.6? Then you guys bargain down to a bill and a Jackson? or, just a bill? Isn't weird that it's like one price or another? That's like over 33% off. I think, therefore, that the service price in Rfd is less subjected to a fee a split w/the house, coupled with the fact that women do live there, then the house fee covers their living expenses. To cover house expenses further, possibly a really small percentage goes to the house of the service fee.

From this reasoning, particularly the "stickiness" of the prices, I can safely conclude that girls will adjust the prices upward or downward from the past previous sessions. In other words, as others have been saying, if you go around and drop 5 bills on the girls, they will come to expect that.

For more anectodal evidence, I offer cases in Hawaii and Northern CA. These girls really like their regulars. The white girls in HI confirmed this. They brag about how lucky another girl is to have a regular (I've heard this at southern CA, too, but I've only heard it at the same house, so I don't have independent sources).

Also, I'm not sure, but I'll say 99.999% of the mamasans were former workers, too. Either by favor or payment, they get to run a house, and keep the girls in line. It's a whole different culture. There are lots of articles in the free presses, not sure about the internet.

Also, as for the article that says that the girl might be trafficked in, I'm not so sure that it's as bad as it sounds. Like we all know that AMPs are fronts, most of the girls in their countries know what they're getting into. NY, I'm not so sure about, but most of the others, especially with the high security of our borders (at least from what I've been reading), girls coming in know what they're getting into. I'm not sure, but I think some girls (if from anywhere, it's Korea) actually pay a premium to come work here.

When I first discovered AMPs I was in a certain phase of my life where I tended to over-dramatize (everything, not just the hobby) and one of my "habits" led to a bit of paranoia. I assumed and imagined that the girls were much more trapped than I actually think they are. I'm sure there's a potential for things to be rough and tough for some of the less fortunate ones. But I've come to believe, as you do, that for the most part the girls have some idea of what they're getting into. I'm sure the "sell job" that's put on them by the recruiters tends to sugar-coat the whole situation.

But now I lean towards the theory that the typical worst case scenario is that its an economic trap more than "slavery." There are news reports about women around the world that are told that they can be taken into Europe or the US for jobs, and then end up truly being enslaved in brutal conditions. However, its not uncommon for an AMP girl to have her own apt (or maybe share it) or go in and out of the AMP system.

My guess is that the recruiter plays up how much the girl can make, and convinces her that if she's disciplined with her money that she can pay off her debt within a reasonable time, and then use her legitimate immigration status to get a regular job, maybe go to college, and lead a normal life in the US. Then her little stint as a massage provider can be her little secret that no one ever needs to know about. My guess is that, right off the bat, they start to pump up the "debt" from the get-go.

These are just my common sense assumptions.

You can just tell that some of the girls are a bit immature and get caught up in alcohol, binge shopping, gambling, etc and never make progress towards paying any "debt." You can tell with many of the 30-somethings that they seem to act as if they really thought by now they'd be living the American dream - outside of an AMP.

They're so full of bright-eyed enthusiasm up to about age 24. Around age 26 they seem a bit hardened and cynical. I believe they think they're getting smarter and think they understand the "big picture" a bit better, and I think they think that this "understanding" will help them plan their escape. From about 28 - 32 they seem a little burnt out as they see that although they "understand" how things work, they still seem to be spinning their wheels. By 36 they seem to accept their lot in life and from 40 on all thier focus and energy goes into honing their craft in an attempt to get take some of the business away from the fresh meat.

OK, blah blah blah, me just talkin shit and guessing.

About white girls competing for regulars: I've seen that in an american mp up here in Madison. It can get maddeningly sickening. There was one girl at the RS that was notorious for going completely beserk if one of her so-called "regulars" chose someone else over her. Hell, I got anal for the regular fs price because a girl wanted to keep me as her regular. I took that ass one time and never saw her again.

As a matter of fact, the RS answering machine that lists weekly schedule makes a comment at the end: "...customers have the right to see any girl they choose..."

Last thing, Chief, about the 33% price spread. Yeah, that's odd, and I think there's two things at play here. I think the competition has gotten pretty stiff (ha ha) between the AMPs in Rockford. I think they are really trying hard to show that they are capable of pulling in the bigger bucks. However, like you stated, they would rather keep you as a customer for 100 even than lose you completely to the competition.

I don't mind at all, really, that nearly every girl I see asks me for the $160 up front, no matter how well known I supposedly am. Its her job, I'm sure she's getting pressured to do it. We all gotta make a living, right? She's a person in a less than ideal situation. She's not a ***** ***** subhuman. And the people that have got a lot of control over her rep in the circuit, her cut, her debt, her assignments, etc are most likely twisting her arm to squeeze every penny out of us she can.

So I figure the least I can do is to be a little kind and understanding, and not get bent out of shape because she's just doing what she's getting kicked in the ass to do. But in the end, binness is binness and I'll lowball 'em if I can. And if she's nice to me anyways, then I can be nice to her on the back end.

If I get fs for $140 total (40 house + 100 tip) then slipping her an extra $20 is actually only tipping her just over 14%.

I think it makes good business sense to drive a hard bargain, but it also makes sense to tip for good service when you get it.

This was the only place I walked out of after going in and seeing the women. You walk into this place, and there will be there old crones there waiting to service you. Of my two visits, I did have one massage. It was nasty and it sucked. If you have a hardcore old woman fetish, you'll love it. Otherwise, do yourself a favor and don't waste your time.

And the worse thing about it is that it's the same price! What's up with that?!?

reading that Rockford Register Star article reminded me that was basically how the late, dearly departed and sorely missed spa's of Michigan City Indiana bit the dust.

Albeit the beginning circumstances were somewhat different: LE sent a cop into the spa and he would up going full service with the spa worker and on more than one occassion and the girls were busted. When the trial came up, the cop going all the way with girls hit the newspaper, next thing you know WLS TV is down there interviewing the Chief of police,etc.

Next election, a woman used the abundance of massage parlors in Michigan City Indiana as a platform to get elected and poof, they were closed, only recently 1 has had the courage to reopen but they aint what they once were.

Took a quick run through Rockford early tonight, thought I'd report on it.
Broadway is still torn up and detoured; cruised around 7th and saw an LE car and van at the convenience store a few blocks north of B-way. There were a couple of obvious WSW's both north and south of there, and they looked alone, but they looked better than any I've seen in the Forest City for a while, and it raised my suspicions. Exited out off the detour by a side street, and saw a safer looking bet, but I was already spooked and had decided to call it a day, and stuck with my gut.

Went to Osaka by the bowling alley. Manager said they also own Sakura off of harrison. Naomi was working. I guess this was the Naomi from Sakura since Sakura was closed and so they brought their staff too Osaka. Recent posts said she was hot, but I thought she was average. She really wanted to give me a massage but I saw another girl in the hallway I liked better and chose her. I'll try Naomi next time she seemed willing to give a good massage. Made the trip to Rockford last night. I checked out Paradise and Rainbow first...they were closed (time was about 8:00 PM) Finally wound up at Tokyo, and was satisfied with the FS from Coco, Not sure if she's been discussed here or not. She told me she had been there for about 1 month, and had fond memories of the beaches near LA. She is very pretty, just slightly larger (but then I like snakes!) and had a good attitude. Seemed a little shy but warmed up as we got into the session...I will try her again. I offered $140.00 for her service (+house fee), and she made a weak attempt for another 20.00. I knew you all would be all over me if I caved in to that one. I realize that 140 is above the maximum some of you are paying. Just can't bring myself to go to the 120 level!

Hit the streets yesterday afternoon and early evening. Not much out on 7th. Went to the Hideaway, only one girl (Mary – nice body) was working. I was going to hit the Paradise Lounge, however the road construction would have made me park too far away and I don’t feel safe walking around there after dark. Thanks for the advice; decided to try SW action vs. AMP and am glad I did. I got an al;-mighter for a couple of benjamins, which is just slightly more than one shot in an AMP from what I read here.

Reading all the back posts, I went down 7th, saw some real prospects on Buckabee, then part of broadway, and then 3 or 4 on 251 heading south. Not that I found anything appealing, but there was action. Then as I was about the give up and consider it a mere scouting experience, I saw a slender cutie on 251 just north of 20. I turned around and headed back, and she crossed the street to a liquor store, and she stood there looking my way. I was nervous as she pulled out a cell phone, so I pulled into the store parking lot and sat. She came up, opened the door, and hopped in. She said her name was Felicia, and that she normally doesn't do "this" but she needed the money. I said I needed a room anyway, so she recommended a place and off we went. On the way over we did the mutual LE check.

Once checked in, she told me more of her life story (seemed to be making up parts of it as she went along) and asked what I wanted, I described an extended time of companionship, she quoted a per hour cpnsulting fee, and I offered an all night fee which she accepted. Went to Exclusive Last week and it wasn't business as usual. I'm hesitant to go into details with the info released last week. All I could say is that they are extremely paranoid and probably have good reason to be. The end is near it appears. It is a shame and I hope I'm not jumping to conclusions here. I've lived through it in Chicago & Cicero years ago and the recent events in Rockford seem to reflect the time when the hammer started to drop in those areas. Granted, Chicago will never be dead, it's just more difficult and not out in the open.

Since we're all dreaming around here, my dream would be that it'll all blow over and be back to business as usual. I'd dream that a guy could roll into town and get a little companionship and be back on the road in less than an hour & a half, fully relaxed.

The sad reality is, though, once they start to take it away, it goes full circle, and never ends up the same. Sometimes quickly, sometimes slowly, they'll take it away, little by little, and my opinion is that some day we'll be left with nothing. Chicago is saturated with jackshacks and elusive SW's, I'd hate to say it, but it seems this town is headed in that direction.

Sometime in Aug 03 I posted all the phone numbers. A couple of the names of the amps have changed but the numbers and addresses are correct. If they answer and say they're open then you should have no problem. The service remains good in any of them that are open. I can give a thumbs up to Royal.

I don't know about LS's or street action but I know amps continue to be a solid bet. Sure, things are different now, but if they are open then service is reliable. Tokyo is also a good bet if you're not too picky about the girl being 30-35.

Please report back with a report of your experience.

P.S. I edited this report because I had the date of the post wrong.

Also after thinking a bit, I realized that if they don't know you then the screening process may be a bit tighter but my guess is that if you're calm and play the game that you should be OK.

was in rockford over the weekend and spoted lots of cops and a few very ugly sws. kind of hard to cruise around since broadway was still under construction. after trying the ussual good spots tried s 11th and wound up finding a wsw named lynn, she told me she was hoping to find a headhunter- a guy looking for head. she was however extremely drunk and smelled like a brewery so decided to let her go. wound up back in the ussual haunts and met up with laurie a late 20's wsw, had dated her a few years agao she remembered me but i did not recognise her she was lots worse for the wear. did do her, she had been complaining that there were too many cute young girls out taking away her business and to beware of them since some of them were ****. i however did not spot any of them.

Was in Rockford last week. The Lingerie place was about the same, open doors, but they had them screened off. Service was about the same except for they seemed a bit scarred. That was the day of the local law enforcement new "checkout" to make sure everything was kosher. I've seen the same blond about 10 times and she is excellent.

Broadway was all torn up and difficult to drive around. SW were really down that night.

Rockford is changing, the last two times I have been to the Lingerie joints I have been offered offsite experiences. Business is really down internally at the joints. This is major change in the way things have been in the past. Also, picked up Blond, better than average SW close to the downtown area, went back to the hotel. She work at one of the Lingere place and also noted that business was down. Major changes going on in Rockford. Darn it, this was one of the better places in Midwest.

Cruised into Rockford Friday for a little Daytime R & R and decided to visit someplace new. After cruising by Royal, decided their were just too many cars there for 1:30pm and drove East on State. Ended up stopping by Osaka, someplace I'd not been before. On arrival, I was greated by the very attractive Sara and led to the room. She, of course, informed me of the half hour and full hour charges ( $40 / $60 ) and I opted for the hour. As a started to undress, I asked if anything other than a massage might be available. She asked what I was looking for and I whispered in her ear "Everything !" She held out her hand and I put a $100 bill on it. Slight frown on her part and she said " No, everything 140. " I looked into those beautiful eyes, and layed another twenty on it. Again she repeated " 140 ". I said " Sorry, that's it!" and started for my clothes. She said " OK, OK" and the fun was on. Sara is fairly small on top ( I'm really partial to that ) and has the very soft skin. Sauna was good and her shower was excellent, but it was her massage technique that was superb. Very Very good massage. Of course the extras were fabulous too, though no DFK or DATY. I would difinitely recommend Sara.
There was at least one other girl working, but I only caught a glimps of her as Sara and I walked down the hall to the shower. She was sitting on the floor in one of the rooms. Young, but I couldn't really tell much from that short viewing.

Got burned today at Royal and won't go back. Girl's name was Candy and she said she was new to Rockford having been there only about a month. I had actually stopped to see Hannah, but she was busy and the Mamasan suggested I'd like Candy. Not very good English skills, but knew enough to say " Boom Boom - I cum, you cum $200 for eberything." I said no way and the negotiating was on. I acted dissinterested and finally got down to $80 ( plus the $60 house fee) She moaned about it but finally said " First time with Candy, I gib you a discount. Ok, OK? " She took the money and left the room. When she returned for what we had agreed to, she ended up giving me a not-so-spectacular handshake.

And that's it!

I'm done and Royal is off my list.

Mac Man - first let me say, congratulations on negotiating the cost of fs down from $200 to $80! Unfortunately, she used her language barrier to her advantage. My guess is that if you would've complained about not getting fs she would have been indignant and declared that no one EVER gets fs for that price. We had a huge discussion going about negotiations and one of the points that came out is that although getting the lowest price is a great goal, at a certain point you have to deal with "you get what you pay for."

SoulVitamin brought up the idea that by driving prices too low in Rockford, the city may become unattractive to the most desirable providers.

At any rate, I doubt that Candy would ever knowingly agree to $80 for fs. When she took your tip of $80 she should have made it clear that she intended to do less than fs. I believe that her trouble understanding english isn't an act. Most likely she returned to the room in the mood to do as little as possible.

There's no shortage of reasons to stay out of Royal. I really like Hannah but even she put a rush job on a friend of mine. But I'd advise against holding the grudge for too long. If you want, boycott them for a while and send them a message. Give your business to the other spas. But as soon as they piss you off one time, consider giving Royal another try.

So much of hobbying is hit-or-miss and there's not much chance that you can guarantee a top-notch experience every time.

BTW, welcome to the board and thanks for some great reports. So when/how many times have you seen Hannah, and what did you like about her? Or, were you just seeking her out because of the recommendations on this board? Even though she shorted my friend on time, I really like her. I've seen her 3 times and Candy twice. Both of them juice up pretty easily, and I like that in a woman.

Actually, I was requesting Hannah based on posts here. I had never been to Royal before, but thought it best not to let them know that from the outset, especially in light of all the recent happenings around town. Didn't want them to think I had anything to do with LE.

I have been to several of the other AMPS around, and for several reasons I liked Royal least. Didn't seem as clean as some of the others, and although I liked their shower table (compared to Osaka's), I hated it being right by the entrance/ exit door.

The last I knew, had a sign out that said they were closed due to "water problems". The reason they were getting reported and subsequently inspected, DID relate to water damage that was seeping into a neighbor's wall. It's just that their closing seemed more timed closely to an article that came out in the Rockford paper that's been discussed here previously in the October 13 to the 20th range (best check the link there, it's too long to go into everything again). Needless to say, Rainbow hadn't been ticketed yet on the girls living there-issue, but citations were still to come. If that means they close permanently, that's anyone's guess right now. Why these places dont rent a cheap apartment for their girls, I have no clue; it sounds like they'd make enough money to. Paradise had also closed, with no similar "water problem", I believe. If you believe some of the alleged fiction written here, they may have still been taking regulars in without the open sign on. I havent been out that way at night in a week or two to see if they still look closed. I know last Saturday driving at night (fairly late tho), Royal and even Tokyo (which has never been closed late to my knowledge) both were closed. So was Osaka. This WAS a little after 2 am though, so I dont know if one of those closes by then. I just know that was surprising for Tokyo, especially since their business was "grandfathered in" under the old laws (see the article) compared to the newer places. ANything you can add to this REAL? It sounds like you've been going to Royal more lately. I've been leaning more towards wanting to go back to Exclusive for the first time in a while, and JRDandy's comments gave me some interesting insight on how it's going there.

Good news! A friend of mine that works for a Rockford politician (who will remain nameless) has been having more and more success lately, in convincing the government and community leaders that the hobby isn't going away and that its better to find common sense solutions for the problems brought up in the article.

It seems that "the powers that be" are seeing the light that EVERYONE (hobbyists, providers, business owners, neighborhoods, tax payers, etc) can ALL save tons of money, effort and hassles if we can settle on sensible solutions that are addressed in recent anti-hobby newspaper articles.

I guess they realized that they can play the shell game all day, but that darn pea isn't going away. Closing places down only moves the activity around. Hobbyists will resort to other means. The only winners in that scenario are hotel/motel owners. Grown ups are gonna do what grown ups are gonna do. All that will be accomplished is giving us more hoops to jump through and more hassles like phone tag and scheduling hassles, etc.

IF there really are issues like supposed code violations and creepy guys skulking around all embarrassed and paranoid looking then lets address/fix those issues. When you squeeze the tube at one end, all the contents will just go to the other end.

If there was a liquor store that catered to down-and-out alocoholics and there were problems with bums loitering, pissing and littering, do you think anyone would be talking about banning the sale of alcohol in the city?

Has any amp client ever been injured from an unlicensed massage? I heard about one guy at the Rising Sun in Madison who got his hard-on bented by a provider. It was a serious injury and he had to go to the hospital. But I heard the story from a 20yr+ veteran provider. Shit happens.

So at last, some common sense solutions are being addressed. They're talking about moving amps to acceptable locations and inspecting for hygiene. They're coming up with ideas for discreet parking and entrances to remove the fear of the negative stigma that society has placed on the world's first business venture. They're talking about allowing adjoining residences, like the bars near Tokyo that have apartments upstairs.

Its going to save govt, LE, amps and clients tons of money and hassles. Its happening, guys, it really is.

And now to report on my recent experiences. I returned to Paradise to see Kim-chee again. I got there and Coco was all freaked out. Kim-chee had just died in room #2. Apparently, she had spent the night there and since the building isn't zoned as a residence, well, naturally, she died. Again, an awesome opportunity for another long-time unfulfilled fantasy of mine. Coco said she'd hold off on calling 911 until I finished. I figured that was worth another $20 in addition to $40 house and $100 tip. No time limit and no condom. I was probably in there an hour and a half. Got to sakura twice last week.

Recently I was in Rockford and did my "downtown strip club tour".

My first stop was the Flag, on North Main street. It's close to a McDonald's, about 3/4 of the way out of town. I walked in and it was dead. The bartender, his buddy, and an empty stage. Mac Man and bostonpride33 - You and Soul Vitamin bring some healthy balance to the whole negotiating issue. As I had stated earlier I started fearing that I had helped create a monster. What started out as a hopefully business-wise cooperative effort to hold the line on prices and resist the REAL amp owners' efforts to drive the fs base-line tip to $160 morphed into an apparent hobbyist mandated zero-tolerance policy on tipping a penny over $120.

Hopefully we can all carry on with a more relaxed sense of fair play. Yes, its the providers' natural tendency to squeeze everything they can out of you. Some are too nasty about it and their begging / cajoling / pouting can ruin a session. But, some are too nice, like when Pink silently returned $20 to a client who offered $120...and that was before the session, a session which was complete, decent and unrushed. She just did it because she was under the impression that $100 was the going rate.

Both those extreme examples are rare. Most girls fall somewhere in between. Obviously, most girls will at least make a play for a little more. She's a hooker, that's what hookers do. That doesn't make her a skeezin'-b*tch-ho-****.

Personally, I'm into the negotiating thing to approximately the same level as the girls are. If she wants to go for it hardcore, I'm down for the show-down. If she'd rather just dispense with the hassle, well, that's worth $20 for me and I ain't taking it to the mat, either.

If ever a girl is very sweetly trying to persuade that extra $20 out of me by trying to convince me that I should tip more because she'll work extra hard, the session will be extra special, etc, I tell her to "show me." I promise that if the service really is special, then I'll tip after. I say "Good service first, extra tip after." There were only a few occasions where this offer was made and the service was substandard / lackluster. I didn't tip extra. Most times the girl knows better than to ask for it. Only once did a girl look at me expectingly as if she thought she deserved it. I didn't cave.

On the same token, I think it would be foolish to not follow through if the girl does work hard. Even if the chemistry really isn't there and the session seems pretty typical, if you can tell that the girl is really putting some heart in it and trying to make it special then be kind and thank her for her effort.

Bottom line: its part of the game. I'll play it. And I'll play it to win. But I won't be a dick about it, and I don't expect them to be bitches about it. When I go out I've already accepted that I'm spending $160. Give or take $20, its not going to make or break the experience.

To answer your question, it really depends on the girl, her mood, and if her bills are due. From what I've seen, the asking price is usually the same as the Ling. Shops (without the house fee). My impression is that the girls that will agree to takeout are just taking advantage of an opportunity to get some extra cash, so things are open to negotiation.

Don't count on all of the dancers being as friendly as the one I ran into. I usually buy them a drink to get a feel for them, and also to get them a little more relaxed and happy. Some of them will start groping you at the table, which is always a good sign. When I get to the back room for the lap dance, I feel them up and see if they ask me to stop or encourage it. So there's no real hypocrisy between printing a report where an interviewee condemns amps and also having an ad for said amp. Realistically, we know that newspapers do editorialize and have their own "slant" even in theoretically "objective" news reports. But in theory they should give notice of when they are presenting their official editorial opinion. And even if they purport to be anti-amp, there's no hypocrisy for them to continue to post an ad for the amp.

What kills me is how Bill Mohr can't see the difference between sw activity and in-door hobbying. How he fails to see the difference is beyond me.

Kelly at Paradise is about as average/typical as you're going to get at an AMP. I can't think of anything to say about her that would make her stand out. The Hideaway used to have more dancers earlier in the evening. I wonder if they're having hard times. The dancers vary a lot in what they'll do during a private dance. I've gotten two bbbj there, one without my asking or her asking for anything. Other dancers won't do anything beyond the dance, although they all allow a lot of touching. The girls vary in looks too, from no more than a 3 or 4 up to 8-9 (rarely). With some of the other strip clubs closing (there used to be a couple of them on 7th, both closed now, and one just off Main, too), it's the best bet for some action. About the wallet thing, I agree that it would be foolish for an amp/ls to go through your stuff and steal anything. No cell phone, wallet, extra cash, etc. I even make sure I empty my pockets of the miscellaneous trash that can accumulate in your pockets, like business cards, work ID card, post-it notes, etc.

If I'm in a new place, I'll even take my car keys everywhere with me in that little pouch. Think how easy it would be for them to go through your glove box while you're all hot and lathered up.

I'm hoping someone here can shed a little light on what's the angle on wanting to ID someone out in public with a girl; besides getting jumped I can't think of why. Or, why would an AMP/LS want to learn your identity without your knowledge or consent.

I've gone from one extreme to the other, from overly cautious and paranoid to totally careless, and everywhere in between. I'm done with paranoia but I'm still cautious. Why tempt a thief. I put the house money in my right front pocket. Minimal tip money in my front left pocket. Two more twenties, one in each back pocket. The only other thing I carry in is my car key and maybe some mints.

So, once I'm inside I can be generally relaxed and carefree, but I will pay very close attention to exactly how my pants are positioned. I don't really care if they see how much money I got, I just don't want them going through my car while I'm in the shower.

I don't want a positive comment about one AMP make a negative implication about the others. Especially now that management of Paradise, Sakura and Osaka have changed hands so much lately, I wouldn't even venture a guess on those three. But I do have something good to say about Tokyo. My gut tells me that they would be the most trustworthy. I've stated previously that I think the most rock solid management/mamasans are at Tokyo. Definitely the best place for beginners or those that are feeling a little concerned.

Although I haven't heard of any problems around here, I've read that some of the AMP's in LA will take your car keys while you are in the shower and check out the car to see if you are LE. I hide my wallet, cash and cell phone in different locations in my car so if they find one, they won't find everything. Another reason for multiple locations (hiding) is because not all the neighborhoods are terrific.

I also take out any receipts in my pants pockets that might have a credit card # on it. Finally, I do take in a small (pocket size) bottle of alcohol to cleanse myself with if I get BB oral.

Well, there's muscle control, and there's muscle cuntrol. Anna at Paradise puts the "****" in "cuntrol." In the past I've reported on girls that had some phenomenal strength, but I've never met anyone that could "work it" the way Anna does.

Chief, nice to hear from you again. You're right about the two LS's close to Broadway and 7th, just down the road apiece from Tokyo Oriental Health Spa. I think there used to be 3 LS's within a few blocks, I could never remember which name matched up with which location. There's Brandy's (closed) and Kelly's and one other.

BTW, Tokyo has two decent personality girls. I've only seen Linda for a session. She looks like the Anna I described at Paradise. 30ish and nothing special but nice warm service. Linda isn't quite the technician that Anna is, but Linda is a great girl and I always have a great, relaxed, unrushed session at Tokyo. No matter what treats are offered at the other AMPs, I'll always work Tokyo into the mix.

On a side note: before I entered Sakura I was distributing my cash around my pockets the way I normally do: house fee in one pocket, $100 in another, and one or two more $20's in the others. By luck, I had $8 crammed in one of the pockets and I was too lazy to take it out, so I put the house fee in my shirt pocket and just left the extra odd $8 in my pants.

So when the session was over and she got up to get me a hot towel I saw her eyeing up the $20 on the table. As soon as she was gone I switched the $20 bill for the $8 and layed back down. As I got dressed I told her she could have the tip on the table. She was a little surprised and disgruntled. Oh well, too bad.

I'm pretty sure Osaka also has the same two similar dopes working there still. I haven't been to Royal for a while. They don't answer the phone. One time mamasan told me that I should still come even if they don't answer the phone but I hate driving out of my way just to see a note on the door saying that they're closed for one day due to a plumbing emergency. So if they're too damn lazy to pick up the damn phone I hate to think about poor the hygiene and service would be.

So I'm splitting all my time and money between Paradise and Tokyo for now. And I'm very happy with both of them.

BTW, the manager at Paradise used to be the manager at Sakura. As far as I know, Sakura and Osaka used to have the same owners/management. So is there now a Paradise connection? Is Sakura and Osaka still connected? Does anyone know what's going on with all that? IMHO, Sakura and Osaka should team up at one location and shut the other down. I really don't see the point in having two small-staffed half-assed AMPs instead of one decent one.

I took the opportunity to see Anna at Paradise AMP this week, due in part to some glowing reviews here. When I got there Paradise was very busy. I went to the room, paid the $40 house fee, then got a nice table shower from the Mamasan (who was pretty good looking). Went back to the room, and waited for about 15 minutes for Anna to come. I had asked for her specifically, and had to wait a while because she was busy.
I am not sure how many girls were working that afternoon, but apparently not enough. I noticed a few guys come in and then leave, because they didn't want to wait.

Service Man, I'm glad you got decent service from Anna, although rushed. Apparently, I've heard that getting that extra-muscle-control-service isn't a guarantee. I have a question for you, if you don't mind sending me a PM (I notice you don't have the PM option turned on).

I try my best to only go to an AMP, or LS etc or even schedule with an escort or whatever, during their slow times. But sometimes I don't have total control over when I have an opportunity to play and I end up having a session during a busy time, and unfortunately I know that I have to drop my standards a bit. You'd expect certain time slots to be busy: all day Friday (pay day); Fri and Sat night, getting busier the later it gets and the closer it gets to bar time; and hit-or-miss busy rushes anytime on minor holidays (Labor Day, Memorial Day, etc).

But there are some time slots I've been surprised to find busier than I'd originally guess. The main one is just at/just after midnight on Thursday night. Which makes sense. For guys that live paycheck to paycheck and don't have a floating hobby fund available at any time of the week, they can access their Friday paycheck with an ATM at just after midnight (maybe even a short time before). Thursday can typically be dead all day and all night and then right at midnight the AMPs will be packed.

Daytime on Monday can be fairly busy (or the first work day after a holiday weekend). Turns out there are many working family men that are unable to "sneak away" anytime between Friday (rushing through work to get out early; or getting a jump on weekend plans, etc) and then on Sat and Sun they're glued to the family. Monday, when they return to work, is their first chance in a few days to be out of the house.

IMHO, the best times to go are Tue, Wed, Thu between opening and 4pm. Any weekday may produce a small rush at lunch time but its usually pretty minor. The second best time slots would be the same days 9pm-11pm. 4pm - 8pm can get a small rush due to the commute home then the dinner hour. Any later than 11pm is too close to closing time and the girls may be getting that "I-hope-this-is-my-last-client-of-the-day" attitude. To be really picky, I'd say the later in the week the better. Thu better than Wed, Wed better than Tue. The farther you get away from the weekend the more bored, relaxed and eager they are.

Generally I try to avoid weekends. But if I must, I really almost never ever go near closing time. The worst is when you have to sit in the lobby for 30 min because they don't even have one empty room. Then 30 min waiting in the room. All the while you hear a half dozen guys getting herded in and out. When you finally get your girl, you suspect she just had at least 4-5 back to back appointments and then you're either her last of the day or she's still got someone waiting for you to finish with her. And you know the mamasan is telling that next guy that she'll be with him in ten minutes.

Saturday and Sunday you also want to avoid arriving right when they open. Especially on Sunday. You know she just had two long days and late-late nights. She wakes up Sunday grateful that the day will be slow to steady. You'd think she'd be ready to crash once they close down on Saturday night, but its not uncommon for them to have a few drinks and unwind a bit. Yeah, not much enthusiasm at opening time on Sunday. Otherwise, weekend days aren't too bad. 1pm to around 9pm is hit-or-miss slow to steady, with the possibility of one or two minor rushes which are hard to predict and probably just coincidence. Obviously, try to be aware of the ending of some type of televised sporting event.

Another reason Sat/Sun day time isn't so bad is because the girls are psychologically revved to be busy; they expect the door to be buzzing. The weekend is the meat and potatoes of their income and they welcome the business and work hard to show enthusiasm. I still prefer weekdays for myself, because I think that's when they're more likely to be relaxed and natural and their true personalities come through more. During busy times they're more likely to put on their "AMP worker" act. I guess that's splitting hairs a bit, but that's just my preference.

Disclaimer: all the above is just what I've observed and been told by the girls and mamasans. Some of the info may be a few years old. I'm willing to hear other opinions. Some of this is from a different time, i.e., before Paradise/Sakura and when Rainbow was still open. Some of this won't apply to the AMPs that get less business, like Tokyo, which is occasionally dead all weekend. In which case, going at opening time on a Sunday would be an excellent time slot.

I'm sure about one thing, though. Paradise is almost always very busy on Thu just after midnight. You're better off going there before 11pm or just put it off or go somewhere else.

I'm hoping that this info benefits the AMPs as much as it does other hobbyists. Its better for all of us if the slow times are less slow and the busy times are less hectic.

Once again, I'm hoping for suggestions/discussion on this.

I am glad to hear that Sara is back at Tokyo. I will try and visit her the next time I go, she is really great. She can be kind of a stickler on the fee sometimes. Last time I was there I saw Linda ( I believe her name was). She told me she was from LA. Here's another twist on busy/slow times. Last year I had more than a few girls and mamasans tell me that the slowest time of the year is from around January to April. I'm not sure why. I'm not sure if that just applies to AMPs or the hobby as a whole. Any theories?

There've been more than a few guys who say they rarely do AMPs, and prefer other providers (LS, escorts, SWs). But if you're going to do AMPs at all, I'd say over the next couple of months is the best time to go.

After an AMP has had a few very slow weeks or months they will literally bend over backwards to get you to be a return customer.

I didn't see Sara on my last trip to Tokyo. I saw a girl named Young. Probably mid-upper 30s, med build. Actually, I should say that the overall experience was better than typical Tokyo. The mamasan at Tokyo knows me as a regular and has always remembered me and my tastes and taken care of me. And she's done a better job of remembering/accomodating me better than the other AMPs have done.

The other AMPs haven't done as good of a job at this. The manager at Paradise knows me very well, I was on a streak of going there for a while. Plus she remembers me from her days at Sakura. She tries to impress me by remembering my name and "acting" like she's going to really set me up with a great session. But she doesn't really understand or remember what kind of service I like, and this is despite the fact that I've tried to directly tell her what I like. I've never told the Tokyo mamasan what I like, she just figured it out over time. I could hear the Tokyo mamasan coaching Young before my session.

That Paradise building must be cursed, the new manager reminds me a lot of Coco, the previous manager (although Coco was way over the top). But like Coco, this new manager at Paradise has the same way of trying too hard to be the best AMP and the sessions can end up slightly strained. Or else on the way out the manager over-does it trying to be super sweet as she attempts to fish for compliments. But in the end, Paradise is probably just too busy for her to remember what individual customers like.

And fairly often they're just plain too busy. But they have a huge advantage with the best location; which leads to more business; which leads to more girls; which leads to better girls; which leads to more business, etc.

Sakura and Osaka keep getting new mamasans, there's no continuity. The one at Osaka shows promise if she sticks around and gets some decent staff. The main mamasan at Royal isn't always around, and there's a constant rotation of assistant mamasans. The main one at Royal doesn't really have it together anyways. She remembers me enough to know that I'm a regular that's easy to please and a nice guy that doesn't cause trouble but that's about it.

So, if you're going to be an AMP regular, I recommend Tokyo. Its the real deal. If you're a nervous newbie, I also recommend Tokyo for your first AMP visits.

If looks and youth are important, then of course Paradise is best.

But most importantly, if you're new to wsg and looking for ways to make the biggest possible contribution to the hobbyist cause and earn the most appreciation and respect and show your gratitude to those that have gone before you: then visit Royal, Sakura and Osaka and TOFTT.

Regarding the slow period that RealFun has mentioned. Yes it does happen. When I went to the Q spa I saw some puzzles on the wall, and when I inquired Gina mentioned that she puts puzzles together during the winter because it is so slow during that time. I believe that this occurs when the weather is shall we say frightful. If the winter is mild then hobbyists will still be willing to drive. So, I would wait until we have a nice snowfall or a good old-fashioned cold snap. Then take advantage of the timing.

I have seen Sara 3 or 4 times and she does aim to please. She is one of those full figured types with medium sized enhancements (but it is hard to tell). Good points, Bath. One of my favorite strategies is to go during or just after a good snowstorm. Mainly if I know that the freeways are clear. 99% of my drive to Rfd AMPs is on the freeway.

People tend to look outside, see snow, and say, "Fuck it I ain't going out."

But as long as the freeway is plowed and there's not a ton of precipitation then the weather hardly matters. Once the car warms up the drive is pretty similar to going on a misty spring day.

For me, as long as I don't have to go through an inordinate amount of effort to dig out, like, if I just brush off the car and get on the interstate then I don't mind that little extra effort.

And usually I'm rewarded ten-fold. Its much easier to get a girl horny if she's bored. And you won't get rushed at all.

Yeah, for an AMP fan like me, "Its the most wonderful time of the year!"

Recently I stated that the worst is when you have to wait 30 min in the lobby just to wait 30 min in the room, etc. Well the best is when you arrive and see several indications that its been very very slow for days. Like, the shower room is dry and it takes forever for the water to heat up. I must say it's been quite some time since my last post here in Rockford. Last year I had a very unpleasent experiance at Rainbow that I swore off all AMP's. First time there, no 3rd degree or hesitation when I asked for Hanna, maybe I look familiar. I was pleasantly surprised by her appearance and demeanor, cute and very friendly. Lots of other little cuties running around, place was Grand Central Station.

The manager at Paradise does look pretty good and it pisses me off. The first time I saw her she was a worker at Sakura right after they changed the name. I didn't get a line up and I asked for Naomi. They said she was busy so someone else would give me the shower. It was the current manager at Paradise, she used the name Chanel back then.

As she showered me we chatted. Just to be flirty I kept trying to convince her to let me see her instead of Naomi. I wasn't serious because I really wanted to see Naomi. Three sessions @ $140 ea = $420 and two visits to Paradise = $400, at least the way you did it ($200 ea). If you're on a tight budget, then go to cheaper places and negotiate tough. On new years eve there's a chance that she was a little more tough with negotiating becuase she knows its a big night out for most people. I don't think you made a mistake by going on that night, but I think she may have been more bold.

Also, she may have been rushing you because she may have been anticipating making big money that night. Another factor may be that she figured if you're quick on the draw you might be quick on the shot, too.

Master Monger, great report. I'm glad you enjoyed Rockford. Osaka is open, I called and checked. But its tricky to find from the sign on the street. If you are interested in trying it out, see my post dated 5-29-03 and look at the directions for World Spa which has changed its name to Osaka. The phone number is the same.

Jerry P, Osaka and Sakura are your best bets for trying to get fs for $100. Royal and Tokyo might. There are no guarantees, on any given day you may run into a provider or mamasan that just won't accept anything less than $120. Which is why its always a good idea to keep trying to negotiate as early as possible, before you've gotten the shower and sauna. Once you get those services its tough to threaten to walk and expect your house fee refunded.

Just remember, if you plan on being a repeat customer, then whatever you tip will set the standard that they'll expect from you later. Its extremely difficult to get a lower tip once you set a precedent.

But don't despair about Paradise. Just because you tipped $160 once doesn't mean that you'll have to tip that every time here after. Since you'll be hunting around in other places anyways, just avoid Paradise for a spell. Chances are that when you return they won't remember what you had tipped. If they do, then you can just say that after thoroughly enjoying yourself at several other places for much less you refuse to pay more than $100. In the end you'll probably have to pay at least $120, but that's still a pretty good deal, especially considering the higher quality of the girls there.

Mad City Dave - welcome to the forum and thanks for a great first report. I wonder if the girl you had is the same as the one Master Monger had at Tokyo. Could you check out Monger's report and tell us if his description matches?

If you want to save a little money, you can definitely negotiate for a lower price. I was just at Osaka less than a week ago and I paid 60 for the house and 100 for the tip. Man, there's been no shortage of discussion about how (and why) to negotiate the lowest price possible. If you have questions feel free to pm me. That might be the only advantage to the Sun, that the prices are basically set. You don't have to engage in the whole price battle, from scratch, on practically every damn visit. One other advantage to RS is the variety of ethnicities. Besides that, I think AMPs have RS beat hands down.

RS hot tub and sauna: no f'in' way. At one time I was stupid enough but now I'm not brave enough. The facilities at any AMP are cleaner at the end of a busy day than RS has been in years.

Bath/shower: I think we all know the winner in this category.

Massage: even though you chose the short program at Osaka, Blue really should've taken a little more time. The time you spent waiting for her indicates that it may have been busy and she may have been working alone. Not an excuse, just reality. Try to go during a time that's less busy and/or go to a place that typically has a larger staff. Also, if she tries to cut the massage short, suggest that she keep going.

Don't judge AMPs overall based on one experience. On the whole, the vast majority of the girls are EXCELLENT massage providers. Massage abilities at RS? Puh-lease. And even if there was one rare RS girl that could give a massage, if she tried to kneel over your ass the way AMP girls do you end up laying sway-back because of the shitty mattress. Sometimes its tough to get deep penetration or a good firm rhythm going in the mish because of the saggy mattresses.

So when you pay the house, 50% more money gets you 100% more time. Service: fs is usually available at RS, but often not, depending on the girl. AMPs are more reliable for that. An AMP girl will almost never work during her period. Several times at RS I've gotten back to the room with a girl that I'd seen dozens of times, and she tells me its that time of month. I'm thinking, why did she even come to work?

True, the AMP service routine can get a little tired after several hundred visits, there are so many commonalities: deep tissue massage, followed by walking on the back, then the light touch massage often with hair and tits ever-so-lightly brushing accross the body, followed by the sneaky condom in the mouth trick for asian and/or cbj, followed by a strong kegel ride and nipple play and the rush to finish. If its dead when you get there and you don't hear anyone coming in and the session is beginning to go long, you have nothing to worry about. But even if its busy and you're going over on time, you don't have a strict clock thing going on, like RS with that blasted buzzer. At an AMP you may hear the mamasan outside the door give a holler to the girl. So you know you have to wrap it up but you don't have a specific deadline staring you down, like at other places where they write down the time and expect you to be on your way out on time. I know, the purpose for that is for the next guy to know how long he has to wait for that girl, but that's little consolation when you're with the girl and oh-so-close but you have a specific deadline closing in...

Now, if you don't like the service at an AMP you can tell the mamasan. The language barrier will be a hassle and you'll be lucky if she can even get the gist of your complaint. But she'll be sweet and sympathetic and she'll promise better service next time. If you return soon enough and remind her she will probably remember, and there's a good chance that the next visit will be somewhat better. She'll upgrade you to the VIP room or give you her best girl or let you stay an hour for the 30 min price, or maybe you'll be able to tell that the girl is just minding the details, like making sure that the post-session mop-up of the jewels is done with a fresh hot wash cloth.

Don't even get me started about trying to deal with the management at RS. Take my advice: if you get shitty service at RS spare yourself from having insult heaped upon injury, don't take your issues to the management. Smile on your way out; slam the chick on this and any other forum of your choice; then boycott RS for as long as you think is necessary.

When you pay $190 for an hour at RS, the time starts when the girl gets the tip to the front desk. Ten minutes to shower and 5 min to get dressed, you get about...no, make that EXACTLY 45 min with the girl. 45 min or else.

At an AMP, the time starts when you get taken to the shower. Sure the shower takes slightly longer, but its oh-so-nice. Often times I choose to pass on the shower or I quickly shower myself so that I have more play time in the room. At an AMP you'll pay $160-$220 for an hour and get at least 45 minutes with the girl. Less if its busy... but, on the flipside, probably more if its not.

At an AMP you'll pay $140-$180 for 30 minutes. I don't think I've ever had a "30 min" program where I didn't get a minimum of 30 minutes in the room with the girl. The shower time seems to not count. And again, its pretty flexible. So, for $20-$30 more than what you pay at the Sun you get at least the same amount of time and very likely more.

The language barrier with AMP girls can be a hassle at times. But, at least there's a reason if the girl can't properly respond to your wishes. Ironically, at RS, a shared language isn't a guarantee of good communications since so many of them there are addicts or crackpots or compulsive chatterboxes. For the most part, AMP girls come accross as drug-free and attentive; and if you can look past the language barrier you can find that the vast majority of them are highly intelligent, with a great personality and sense of humor.

Just so you know, this is the short answer as to why AMPs are better than the Rising Sun Bath House in Madison, WI. I'll still visit RS from time to time, but its just a different vibe. Its rickety and seedy and you have to get past some useless dude that spends his day watching TV and dropping money in a box. I have my guard up a bit more and never really let it down. I have lower expectations and they're rarely exceeded. Its good for when I've got extra cash and I'm extra horny and not enough time to drive to Rfd.

By spending 2 extra hrs on the road (round trip) (with my hectic life, I don't mind the solitude and I don't have a long commute to work so driving is no big deal) and a few dollars more at an AMP I get an experience that's all female, cleaner, more relaxed and more pampering.

But I also look at the big picture. I want to reward the system and institutions as well as the individuals that provide better service. That's why I'm so big on promoting Tokyo. I think that in the long run the best mamasans will remember you and ACTUALLY reward your return visits. Unlike Paradise, where IN THEORY they really really really really hope you have a nice time and want you to come back. If you get the Tokyo mamasan to know you and like you, that desire to have you return again and again will translate to substantial and concrete improvements in service.

IMHO, my 2 cents, yadda yadda. Sorry to swamp the Rockford board with a bunch of Madison luggage. But here's why their loss was your gain, and let it be a reminder of just how good things are here. Much of my RS comments also apply to LS's.

Tastes vary and everyone's looking for different kinds of experiences, there's really no one thing that's better than another. I just can't agree that RS is better than Osaka because one lazy Blue didn't want to leave the room to get a fresh hot cloth after the session.

Dave, please don't take this as a blasting of you. I'm glad you're here and I hope you give the AMPs another chance. My beef is more with Chuck and his merry band of bozos. Browse through the back posts here to find out how to maximize your amp experiences.

I understand your comments regarding Rockfords AMP and Madison RS.

I agree that the table shower is extremely nice. I love being waited upon. The cleaning is extermly personal, need I say more?

The RS in Madison is very dated. However the mattresses on low bed frame are very nice for cardinal action. Plus more time than not, FS is the standard operatiing procedure. I guess I am not the best negoiatator when someone is holding the family jewels. The RS with the given tip = house fee is a known commodity. I must admit that Blue was a hot looking. I had a good time. Although the communications barrrier was evident.

I guess it boils down to - is the overall experiance worth the differance in .6. I have been seeing Ryan at RS and I think the answer is not. I still may consider Rockford's AMP's given my schedule of passing through that area. Given the information on this great forum I would negioate tighter. I did like that table shower, and the additional services were memorial.

RealFun - I take your comments positivly and not personally. I will continue to follow the accounts of this forum. Given my travels through the area, I will likely try these services again.

After reading Master Monger's report I had to go check out Tokyo and have a session with 'Blue'. I went there and the mamason told me that they only have 2 girls working (Sara and Linda; who were both busy at the time I went). I didn't feel like waiting so I left and went to Sakura(its the one near the bowling alley). I thought I would have a session with Sunny. Strike 2. The mamason said Sunny doesn't work there any more.

Dam I miss Rainbow more than ever!

I disappointedly when to an LS because I didn't feel like getting the rush treatment at paradise.

Man, what happened to the good old days of the AMPs! Where you got the full hour and there was no price haggling. Back then you used to get, dare I say it a tongue bath. Nowadays its just a quick 5 minutes massage -> hurry up and "finish" -> and get out.

Anyone else feel the same way? Is there a place to renew my spirit?

Seems the Rockford board has been concentrating on AMPS lately. Thought I'd put my 2 cents in for Hayley at Exclusive. A while back she had a post with her phone number for she and Jackie (I think). She now offers outcall to your hotel as well as working at the shop. I took her up on it and it was fun. She doesn't DFK but does kiss, she's very sweet and intelligent and tries to please. Her breasts are a little too large for me but she makes up for it. Does a good bj but no CIM, which is OK. After that I saw her at the shop for an abreviated session, which was very nice. She basically is a very nice girl who happens to do this for a living. She did say that a lot of the girls at Exclusive do not offer FS, but I think Jackie does, although I've never seen her. Hayley has had a couple of sessions by O'Hare so I think she is on ***. It seems that Hayley costs less than FS at an AMP but not by much, the way you guys negotiate the prices. Next time I'll see if Hayley will take a shower with me.

Dave - thanks for not taking the comments personally. I think its pretty clear that I have an axe to grind with RS, and definitely not with you or anyone else that goes there. Obviously I used to go there quite a bit, so they must have done good, to an extent. I had a few run-ins with some girls and got no support from management so I just turned my back on them. I'm sure there's plenty of good reasons for hobbyists to still love going there. I guess I just wore out my welcome there, and they decided that their own dysfunctional agendas are more important than customer service for a repeat customer. C'est la vie. Their loss is someone else's gain.

Brother, you ain't lying. I, too, have noticed a downhill slide in overall performance. There's got to be something we can do about it. I do actually believe that several months ago our coordinated efforts succeeded in driving down prices.

A few years ago, all the AMPs except Rainbow almost never asked for $160+ (all comments will be about tip only). 120 was the standard; 100 if you haggled. Then over time 100 became rarer and eventually impossible. For about a year and a half 120 was the minimum. But you still never had anyone seriously expecting 160+. It wasn't rare for a girl that didn't know me to make a half-ass attempt for anything from 140 on up to 200. HOWEVER, the haggling had a flirty, fun, sporting tone and I could very quickly talk her down to earth and get it for the standard 120. I chalked it up as a "sucker check" and let it roll off my back.

Then 2 things happened almost simultaneously: 1) there was a noticeable increase in hardcore attmepts for outrageous tips, 160+; and 2) it got much easier to get fs for 100. For me as a repeat customer there was another disturbing element to this. It used to be that a mamasan would recognize me as a heavy duty repeat customer and the girl would easily accept my upfront offer of 100-120. If a new girl let me in and there was no mamasan, or if there was a new/temporary mamasan and the girl had never seen me before, she'd try to charge me 140-160 but then accept 120. I expected and accepted that.

But now, no matter how many times I go... no matter how close the visits are (even 2-3 times in a week)... without fail, almost every time, the girls still try to push for that 160. You have to hold the mamasans responsible for the increased pressure for bigger tips and the drops in service. Especially when the same mamasan sees me in her place several times and the girl is still giving rushed and lazy service and busting my balls for 160.

To sum up: the mamasans now have amnesia and show no appreciation for coming back to her spa. The girls whinily naggle (nag+haggle) for 160, just to accept 100 in the end anyways. Then the service is not as good as it used to be. WTF?

The only place that this isn't true is at Tokyo. The girls are typically hit or miss like anyplace else; and maybe overall score just a little bit lower (but not much) than Paradise for looks and the average age is closer to 30, where Paradise is closer to 25. But I will reiterate again that the mamasan there remembers me and makes sure I'm treated like a king every time and its only rarely that a girl makes a feeble attempt at 20-40 extra tip.

At AMPs other than Tokyo, for a short while recently I just offered 120 or even 140 with minimal haggling to see if that would improve service. Nope. Service is the same as if I stand firm on 100. I simply refuse to go up to 160 but somehow I doubt that it would help anyways.

We had in depth discussions on this board about fighting to the hilt to negotiate price and Soul Vitamin mentioned the effect that may have on quality in terms of looks. I wonder if its also affecting quality of service. Good point Soul Vitamin, and we should be able to strike a balance. It would be worth $20 per visit to me if I knew that the haggling would be minimal and with a fun and sporting air to it; and that the service would be at a certain quality level.

As it stands now, I try to offer 100, and sometimes go to 120. If service is exceptional I offer 20 more after the fact. I'd be willing to tip 120-140 upfront if I was confident that the quality would be there. I'd even continue to tip that extra 20 on the back end; but probably a little less often than I do now and only for very exceptional service.

Master Monger, I was just givin' ya shit about the dfk. I know they clean ya up down there really really good. You mention in your first post that at Tokyo to say that you want "Mona 99" or "Blue 99." Are you now saying to use the term "99" at the other places, too?

What do you suggest for getting improved service here in Rockford? I know much depends in how you carry yourself and to be confident and firm etc etc. I suppose that it helps if you're so good looking and hung that you can make the girls swoon over you and forget about the time and bring in their friends to show off your equipment. I don't speak any asian languages and I don't plan on learning any, so I won't be having any long conversations with my finger up the snatch of a girl I haven't even paid for.

So, while I'm giving mamasan the house fee I should tell her some code word that connects me to you (most likely through the internet, which they generally despise) and I'll get a lower rate. But since I'm older, short, balding, ugly and have a small dick, can I expect the same mind-blowing gfe that you can charm out of the girls? When it comes to things I have no control over (age, height, looks, size) I wasn't dealt a very good hand. But, regarding things I can control, I think I've done pretty good for myself. I'm street smart, confident, self-assured, etc. I don't have low self esteem about not being a hottie like Master Monger, but I am pragmatic and realistic. If given half a chance I know how to please a woman.

But on the whole, what can we all do to improve the service we get? Maybe we should all agree that, upon paying the house fee, we should tell mamasan that we are looking for better service and if we don't get it we'll go somewhere else next time. I think the mamasans that know me know that's my M.O. in general, but maybe if, for a while, we all make a point of mentioning it every time we go somewhere maybe it will start to sink in. Maybe we could also make comments on our way out. If service was good, we can say we'll come back. If it sucks, we say it will be a long time before we return.

I think I should get the same treatment as Master Monger... I mean, duh, that's why we go pay for it. If I want an average looking female to look down her nose at me for being cheap and not having enough money, and then give me a half-ass effort in the sack, well, then I can spend the night at home with my wife... she'll beat ANY amp girl at that game hands down.

The reason I told you guys to say 99 after the names is because I want you to get the same service for the same price.

How do I think that we can improve service in America in the pay for play market. We need to band together, I am fat Realfun, I am 239 lbs. and I'm 5 ft. 11 in. tall. I think 95% of all women in America really suck, I am one incredible person but to rope myself a girl I have to use immense charm and trickery in America. I can go to another country and I have to beat them off with a stick.

I think the purpose of this forum is exactly to improve the service and the ease-of-use. I just finished up my second weekend for the weekend reports in Pittsburgh, they have nothing on Rockford, and I made sure just like in Rockford that I told the mamasan in each and every place that I would be sending lots of customers, but if I heard those customers were not treated exactly like I was I would return unhappy.

These people are human beings, it's not just the pay for play market that has declined in service. Look at every single company in America, customer service is becoming extinct. The only recourse do we have against it is knowledge.

I am greatly disturbed by supagregno1's report about Tokyo and Sakura. I plan on returning to both of those places to find out why what I recommended to my fellow mongers wasn't on the plate for at least a short while.

I think the bottom line is it is all about charm gentlemen, we are mongers, we should take pride and respect in our hobby enough to actually be better at it than the average Joe blow.

Here are some things that I think really matter, versus some things that I think really don't. These things are all under your control.

Things that don't matter:

1. Your weight or size
2. How handsome you are

Things that absolutely matter!

1. Your breath (brush your teeth, I also use binaca)
2. Your lips (use something to keep them supple and fresh)
3. Your hair (keep it washed and looking nice)
4. Your overall appearance (be aware of your wardrobe, sexy)
5. Your skin (lotion is easy to use, it makes a world of difference)
6. Learn the language (at least a good amount "You do care!?!")
7. Be confident you have nothing to lose (more fish in the sea)
8. Always smell Good (Nothing kills you like BO)

And by far the most important thing:

The Kiss - a good kiss with the proper suction, wetness, softness, and passion will spread any set of legs much easier than your hands.

RealFun, I understand you don't want to learn Korean, but just take a couple of hours to learn how to say a few things in Korean. Such as, "hello, how are you?" (AnYong-HaSayYo), "No Problem!" (Moon jeeiap si), "You are Beautiful!" (no ee-boo-da).

When you say these words you'll see the girls light up with excitement and a big smile. If they ask if you can speak Korean, say no, but you are learning,and then, do you think you could teach me a few new words. This will break the ice with any Korean girl and when you go to offer the tip she will think of you more than some stupid American who just wants to pinch off a squirt, and she will be glad with anything you offer her since she will trust you and respect you. They will light up with the most beautiful smiles you have ever seen.

Another thought provoking post by RealFun!

I agree that we should make up some kind of guidelines to use in addressing our concerns over poor service and higher prices. My thoughts are that we could selectively target certain AMP's and make it clear to them how much we would like to offer, and what standard of service we are expecting for that offer. This may prove to be more difficult now that Rainbow, and some of the LS's are closed. There is less competition for the remaining places.

It would seem to me if that all the gentlemen on this board, and possibly others, were to go to a specified AMP, and all offer the same amount, and all specify a certain quality of service, that the AMP would get the message about what we find acceptable. If they do not or will not get the message, then we can all go somewhere else, and leave the uncooperative business to wonder where we all are. I think voting with our collective feet would provide the clearest message to anyone wanting our business.

I think a discussion regarding what a fair offer would be should take place, to set a base line for offers. Of course exceptional service could be rewarded at the discretion of the customer. We also might now try to decide which business we should try to make ourselves clear to first. My suggestion would be to start with paradise AMP, due to some negative reporting about them of late.

Any other suggestions?

All great tips, Master Monger. Thanks for the input. You're right about learning the language. I actually do know a few phrases (hello, good-bye, you look good, thank you...) and I agree that really does set you apart. A good way to take that just a tiny step further is to spend about 10 min surfing korean websites to get a few references to korean pop culture or news events. The girls' eyes really light up when you ask her what kind of music she likes and then you can name a performer in that genre. Or like last year when South Korea's soccer team got pretty far in the world cup I mentioned that to a few girls. In May there's a day that S. Korea (and possibly other countries?) celebrates Buddha's birthday. I know nothing about it, like if they treat it like christmas or what... but I bring it up if I visit during that week and they're pleasantly surprised.

A big one is that if she does teach you something - REMEMBER IT!! (Tip: keep rehearsing it on your way out and write it down ASAP and practice it during the commute to your next visit). A girl will 90% expect that if she teaches you something that you'll forget it before you get out the door. What a difference it makes if you show up a week or two later and you still know what she taught you! Even if your session is with a different girl, ask to talk to the first girl and say hi and try to show off that you remember what she taught you.

I also like to make references to the other girls. I ask for their names, or ask to meet them, and if I see them in the hallways I try to talk to them. Doing these things is likely to bring out your girl's competitiveness and make her work harder for you.

BTW Master Monger, I wouldn't jump to any conclusions about certain girls not being available. At least with Tokyo. The mamasan there will occasionally be guilty of the typical AMP lies (how many girls are working and who's available, their ages, etc) But I assume that if mamasan says that Blue isn't available, then Blue really isn't available. That's probably true of Sakura also. It seems like at Sakura they only have two girls working at a time and its not uncommon for them to only have one girl working.

One of my pet peeves is when they tell you on the phone that a certain girl is working, but when you arrive an hour or less later they try to give you some story like she had some emergency and had to leave suddenly. Bullshit, she never was there but they'll say anything to get you in the door.

Anyways, MM, your points are well taken, but we are dealing with a situation kinda unrelated. I know I had a rant that praised AMPs over other american establishments, and then came out and trashed AMPs by agreeing with comments about the drop in quality of service.

When AMPs are average/typical I think they are better than RS at its best. But there has been a downturn in the quality of service in a short amount of time in the Rockford AMPs, and I can't figure any reason for it. Noticing something like this takes several visits over time. It used to be that:

- 60% of AMP sessions rocked, at least in the sense that the girl put in the effort to do everything well.
- 20% of the time a session was even better
- 5% were as good as it could ever get.

On the downside:
- 10% were acceptable but nothing special
- 4% were bad
- 1% were completely terrible (unacceptable to the point that you'd feel compelled to complain and/or ask for a refund.

Now:
- 40% are great
- 14% are exceptional
- 1% are phenomenal

30% are acceptable
10% are bad
5% are terrible

I say it took many visits over a long time to observe this, because for a while I would just chalk up the apparent drop in quality to any variety of reasons. When there was all the turn over in management, many of the mamasans that knew me well (frequent flyer, nice-guy-customer, fair tipper, willing to shop around for best service, more concerned with the overall experience than looks alone, etc) were gone and the new ones didn't know me from Adam. Then there was the alderman/community/LE heat, and Rockford's premiere AMP, Rainbow, went away.

After all this turmoil, now that the smoke has cleared, I think quality has slipped and isn't recovering. It used to be that you could play one AMP against the other; one girl against the other; reward good service by going to the same place or requesting the same girl several times in a row and conversely punish bad behavior by staying away for a while.

These tactics just don't seem to have the teeth they used to. Things like massage time getting shortened; fewer post-sex massages; Mad City Dave getting a cold wash-cloth wipe up, etc. Something like that used to be practically unheard of. And if you complain or try to politely and firmly ask for better service the girls are more likely to shrug you off.

You may occasionally receive subpar service anywhere, but at a good amp the mamasan will make up for it on your next visit. Now it seems that they couldn't care less. The worst offenders, IMHO, are Osaka, Sakura and Royal. Good service can happen anywhere, bad service can happen anywhere and I think we should all occasionally TOFTT and spread it around a little lest one or two popular place(s) get big egos and monopolize. Spreading it around encourages competition and innovation.

*ACTION PLAN* WHAT CAN WE DO?

I think if we all agree to make a combined effort we can have an effect. When you pay mamasan, tell her you are trying all the spas and whoever does best will get your repeat business. On your way out ask to see the mamasan again and tell her how it was and if you plan on returning or going elsewhere.

Don't let them draw you into a debate, don't get defensive or upset or emotional. They respond much, much better to a guy that's calm and cool but firm than they do to a guy that's mad or whiney or soft and apologetic about complaining. Just lay it on the line. If there's a major language barrier and she can't understand what went wrong then give up and just tell her you're not happy and next time going to a different spa.

This is something I usually do, and I think we all should be doing this to a certain extent, anyways. But I think if we all now suddenly make a production of doing it on every visit, that they'll start to see the light.

Before any of you read this, before this message gets posted, I'll already have begun. Its now late Wed night and I'll be going to an AMP early Thursday morning.

I agree. To complain about poor service without doing something is just pure BS. To affect change we must act on our complaints, and the more that act, the louder our voice will become!

I frequest several of the AMPs in Rockford, average one or two per month, and have also observed the reduction in service quality that you noted. The price creeps up, the quality of service declines, and we just ***** to each other? Whats wrong with this picture?

Le us follow the path that RealFun has laid out for us, and see if ti has any effect. What do we have to lose?

Great conversation going on. I agree with all the posts re: a decline in AMP service. I attribute it to the “Rainbow effect”. In the past, Rainbow set the bar in terms of quality of service in Rkfd. The other AMPs seemed to follow suit and at least make an effort to compete. With Rainbow gone, none of the other AMPs have stepped up and set a high standard. They all seem content with the status quo. I don’t see any trying to become the “number one AMP” This surprises me because with Rainbow gone, there certainly is a vacancy for that position. Paradise only thinks they are filling the void, but in my book, just a pretty face doesn’t cut it.

Anyway, I’m on board with trying to shake things up by making comments, complaints, compliments, criticism, suggestions, boycotts, endorsements...whatever, but I don’t think this alone will have the effect we all want. One of the establishments needs to set the bar higher for the others. Hell, it doesn’t even need to be an AMP. It could be a LS. After a few consecutive lack luster experiences at the AMPs, I made a recent visit to Exclusive. Nothing has changed. It’s still a big drop off from what you’ll get from an AMP experience. Now would be a good time for one of them to step things up, make some changes, fill the void, and compete with the AMPs.

I think Realfun’s comments about giving mamasan feedback and reminding her that you (we) are actively searching for the “number one AMP” may be the best tactic. Maybe one of them will catch on and step up.

I'm thinking we should also refrain from referring to the internet. The workers all seem to have varying degrees of computer savvy. Some have spent hundreds of hours on-line, some of them only have a vague idea what the internet is really all about. I haven't checked, but I'd assume its a pretty good guess that as a whole, the mamasans are completely mystified by the concept of cyberspace.

Yet there's one thing that they all AMP workers (young, old, computer il/literate, mamasan, manager, worker, helper, whatever) share in common: dread and loathing of boards like these. If you're curious I can tell you a few short antectdotes by pm that support this claim. Suffice it to say that, when you visit an AMP, its best to never let on that you are even aware of hobby discussion boards. They'll never bring it up; if it does come up, play stupid. Actually, I do have one good story of how I got tripped up recently and accidentally let on that I was reading about the AMPs on the internet. If you'd like to avoid the same mistake, pm me.

The whole thing just creeps them out in a way that few other things do. Some girls seem to be able to take it in stride a little better. Although they still would prefer that these forums didn't exist at all, they accept that the genie is out of the bottle. Some girls are downright paranoid about the idea of their legs and reputations being spread on the global jumbotron to be made part of the permanent public record.

As I type, the more I think about it, the more I realize what a goof I made by revealing my internet activity. Not that its that big of a deal. Its just that I strive mightily to make sure that internet never comes up... I'm having a typically super session with a great girl that I've seen before, she claims to like me back... and then BAM! out of the blue "internet" enters the conversation and there's just about nothing I could have done to prevent it.

Its been a while since I reported any news you can use. I've seen a girl named Tina at Sakura a few times. She's petite and has a cute body, if just a little shapeless. Face is OK, big wide lips. Hair is in a long bob/straight cut type of style, just past her shoulders. I didn't like her much at first, but I kept feeling compelled to give her another chance.

She is a little lackluster, but with a little guiding and encouraging she will really respect your ability to take 'charge and get what you want' and she'll accomodate nicely. If you're shy or if you just don't feel that it should be your responsibility to have to crack the whip, (which is how I first approached my sessions with her) then you won't be too impressed. But if you're the born leader type or if you don't mind playing that role, she will say "How high?" when you tell her to jump.

A good session can be gotten out of her with just the right respectful coaxing and coaching. She'll accept $100, but now that I know her a little better, I think it really does bug her; its not just an act, I mean it really gets her down (IMHO, maybe I'm just getting soft). Its at a point now where she cheerfully accepts the $100 from me upfront because she now has full confidence that I'll give her the $20 on the back end. Here's where I'm still firm, though: I wouldn't give it to her if she didn't earn it.

This is a great conversation about getting quality up. One last comment about what Mac Man says about the negotiations being adversarial. They don't have to be as long as both parties are reasonable. If a girl makes me wait 10 minutes, comes in smelling like an ashtray, gives me a cocky smirk and asks "...how much ya got?" and then acts insulted when I won't tip 200, then things are adversarial. When a guy acts like a schlub and gropes her and drools and says he wants fs and pulls out a wad of $5's and singles that add up to $92, then things are adversarial.

But two reasonable people haggling over $20-$40 is just part of the game. Sometimes the girl just has to do a "geek check" and see if she can get away with getting tipped $180 for a rush job. Sometimes I'm going to see if I can get away with lowballing a young new girl on a slow day by giving her $80 for cbj, but as soon as her jaw gets a little tired convince her that I'll nut real quick if she just lets me slip it in...

As long as there's a sporting attitude about the haggling process and it doesn't affect service (and I'm still often surprised by how perky a girl is when she returns to the room, after being all down and dejected when she is forced to accept 100 for fs). I think that the haggling part of the game is just as ingrained in the AMP system as is the feeling of having a hand that's small, tapered, smooth and soapy sliding up and down the crack of your ass.
