World Population 7,787,924,177. Covid19 deaths 275,238. (0. 004% This is what we shut the world down for?Not sure where you go that number? Covid deaths are 500,000+.
Eventually they'll be a million, and so on.
Still, 500,000 is a major war. I mean, the USA has lost 125,000, which is much higher than the toll of the Vietnam war.
But let's follow the logic, that 275,000 deaths doesn't merit a response.
9/11: just 3000 people died. We should have just ignored it, and really, ignore all terrorism (which kills, what, a few thousand people each year, tops? )
The Boeing Max crashes were nothing, like a few hundred people died, and we grounded the WHOLE FLEET? Just let them keep flying. Even if there are ten crashes a year, that's what, maybe 2000 people? Doesn't even register an impact.

Fact unless you have a underlying health condition or are predisposed to heart failure lung disease or other preconditions there is a 95% chance (and that number is low) of you surviving the disease. I have friends in the medical field here in Atlanta and they are not seeing bodies piling up in the intensive care unit they're not having to stack them like cordwood in the morgue. ICU capacity is somewhere around 37%. While the local TV stations only reporting cases and not the number of deaths if this was the black plague like main stream media is saying it is they would be lined up at every hospital entrance watching the bodies come out on a conveyor belt. Should people take Sensible precautions yes. Should we hide in our homes for fear of going outside destroying our economy destroying the lives of millions of people? No. I have worked the entire time. Even had the antibody test a week ago I've not even come in contact with it. This is being used for fear mongering by one side and one side only the side that doesn't give a fuck how many people go hungry how many people lose their homes how many people lose their jobs for one reason and one reason only is they are trying to get one man out of office that's un-American that's bullshit.
You need to update your information. The overall IFR (Infectious Fatality Rate) for covid which includes all the old overweight people with diabetes and heart disease is .26% according to the CDC which makes the overall survival rate 99.74% not 95%.
I can't speak for Atlanta but the ruckus they are making in Texas about the hospitals being close to over full is bullshit, there are 4,000 hospital cases of covid in Texas and 80,000 staffed beds in the state. In Houston and Austin they are talking about the ICU shortage a lot yet in Houston only 12% of the total ICU cases are covid and in Austin that number is 10%.
It's election year bullshit, covid isn't nothing but it's nowhere near what they are making it to be.

How about fixing immigration, something every president for 60 years has campaigned on and failed? This is the first year we'll have less H1 B visas than the year before, something very near and dear to my heart. How about actually fighting China and making progress on their blatant IP theft? How about making other NATO countries pay their share for their own defense instead of the US solo footing the bill for the defense of Europe? How about withdrawing from bullshit treaties we had no business being in like the Paris Accord, which gave more money to China for no reason? How about actively tackling the opoid epidemic and actually making a dent in it? How about fixing some of our broken medical systems like making hospitals provide itemized bills and fixing medicare prescription drug pricing so seniors weren't getting gouged anymore? How about the largest increase in manufacturing since before NAFTA was signed? How about actually addressing issues with the VA health system, something NO ONE has done besides giving lip service about it? How about actually filling every single vacancy in the federal court system for perhaps the first time ever? How about the US being a net exporter of coal / natural gas / oil for the first time ever. We sell more oil than fucking Saudi Arabia now. There's a pretty good list of accomplishments. It should be longer, but Congress hasn't exactly been cooperative. It's a lot easier to be a negative nancy though and just say "oh he hasnt done anything" - sure.
As for taxes. What? The tax changes HURT high income earners in high COL locations. Every single tax bracket is paying less money in federal taxes unless you lived in a high COL location and were relying on SALT to drop your effective rate. It's a progressive system. No shit people that pay in more get more of a cut when you are talking about percentages. I am paying about $750 less in taxes a month compared to before the change, but I cap out the max SALT deduction now. My property taxes aren't even 5 figures, I bet people who live in high millage rate areas with expensive properties got absolutely railed by that change. I'm still coming out ahead, and people that make under 100 k absolutely came out ahead. The changes for S-Corps was also very needed, the previous system fucked anyone who wasn't running a C-Corp. If you had any business experience or owned property worth any money this stuff would be obvious to you, I'm guessing you are an employee somewhere and rent or own property in a low COL area. The real "stewpot" of infection is a social gathering indoors where people spend 15 minutes or more in the presence of an infected person. It's a pretty specific model, actually.

I went to several stores today including BJs, Kroger, Publix, and others. All had signs saying masks required and no one was enforcing it. I was not the only shopper in these stores not wearing a mask, plus there ones wearing over their mouth only or hanging off their ears or under their chin. There was even 1 employee not wearing a mask. The nice lady at the deli who made my sandwich had her mask only covering her mouth.
They using typical marketing techniques to try and appease everyone.
