I know the general wisdom is not to pay for a meet & greet date, but has anyone ever done it anyway and ended up in a solid, consistent arrangement? There are a few potentials that I'd really like to meet but they want 1-200 to meet for dinner first. They can't all be scammers, can they?

They can't all be scammers, can they?There are exceptions to all rules, and I'm sure some guy has paid up front for a M&G and leveraged that into a good arrangement. However, the odds are overwhelmingly that you will get ripped off. Too many stories on this and other boards of bad experiences with SB's who demand up front cash.
When confronted with a request for cash on initial M&G, I tell that I am happy to pay for an extremely nice meal and drinks to see if we vibe. And if we do, the ultimate payout over time will far exceed the $100-$200 fee. If the SB doesn't accept that offer, she's either a scammer or not too intelligent.

1. she likes you based on pics or FT or whatever, you have already told her that you would give allowance if she is DTF, then why the the dinner date money? If she says its for her time and effort. Well you also put ion the time and effort. Just saying think through the rationale why she is asking for money for dinner.

You don't know if you'll vibe with this woman, she may not look like her photos, she may be glued to her phone all date, her breath may stink, she may be a complete idiot. Our time is infinitely more valuable than theirs, hence them being on SA in the first place. So why pay her just to on top of that pay for the date.
It's a losing game to pay for M&g. Pay for a great dinner and drinks. If she's not bs, she should be down for it.

Sorry for no links and I realize it's not helpful later on if they change their I'd but I always block it it doesn't work out. I was falsely banned from SA and I suspect it's from a sore woman who was upset I didn't play along with the scam.

I will say at first (meaning 2 days ago when I upgraded) I was pretty happy with the talent. I thought it was better than 5 months ago. But as I peel back the layers it gets more annoying. But this is a numbers game and takes time. I think I will find that new SB. Timing is a big part of it as well. Good luck.

Then I let them know respectfully that I recognize it takes her time to get ready, etc. And appreciate that time is money, and her time is valuable. And then I let her know I bill clients at 450/ hr and my time is as valuable as hers so it's a risk / investment for both of us to spend the time to see if we're a match. If they can't see this as such, I pass.

Is this the girl sparking all this convo? I thought I had my new sb, conversation was great, moved along to text, very open to terms. When intimacy came up, she said that's not an automatic thing for her. So I suggested a MandG to see if we vibe and made it clear I'd pay for coffee / drinks, but nothing more since that meeting is to explore if an arrangement is possible. I've done probably a dozen non-paid MandGs over the years and all but 2 led to long term arrangements. If they request that, it's actually a great sign bc it shows you are getting a true non pro. Never ever pay though.

I agree with a lot of people that the hit rate on SA recently has been noticeably worse for me. I have had most of my success in the last year or so by just cold texting and reconnecting with old SBs, even one from 5+ years ago. The best thing about that is they all just continue at the rate from way back then versus the inflated rate today. Might be worth a shot for some who have been doing this awhile.

I have to agree with the cost of time to find someone on this app. It is excruciating. I did find that some things helped though:
1) Mention intimacy to some degree in your profile but don't be explicit about it. This ruled out all of the "I'm only looking for a platonic relationship" crazies in the app.
2) Don't drag the conversation for too long on the app. I found out that most women will ghost you after a certain point. I usually talk to them about something on their profile or their experiences on the app. By message 5 ask for their number. If they don't have a number is probably a scam.
3) As soon as you are texting, ask that you want to meet. Don't say sex or anything yet, unless you know for sure they are dtf on the first date. Some women can be very upfront but many times those are scammers. If they ask for money just say that drinks are on you but no money until you meet in person.
It is a number game after all. From around 100 people I contacted in one month:
- around 40 replied.
- 9 did not have a number or wanted money for online content.
- 3 were very clearly escorts (they usually sent their rates on the first couple of texts and asked if I was available now. Some used the same number as their listings).
- 1 deactivated their account or blocked me before I got their number.
- 5 ghosted while messaging in app.
- 10 did not want to meet after talking about expectations (money, sex, location, my time availability, etc).
- 6 I have met with.
- 1 said she only wanted something platonic (I changed my process after this).
- 1 wanted me to invest in her business and only then would consider intimacy.
- 1 I traveled to Fredericksburg to see and it was totally worth it but that was a one and done.
- 3 I keep in my hoetation.
I was very careful at only talking to people in a 20 mile radius who had good pictures and information on their profile. The one exception is the Fredericksburg girl who really talked me up and looked extra fine in her pictures.

The most important thing is if she is demanding it or you give it on your own accord. In my experience if the girl is insisting, it is almost guaranteed she is a rinser or a professional M&Ger. I have done it few times when I was a newbie, never worked in my favor. Actually it is counter-productive. But, I occasionally give a gift or gas money or baby sitting fees if I knew for sure she drove long distance or had to get a babysitter. But never more than 50. Speaking of gas money, about 2 months ago, I met a girl for the first time who refused the gas money I offered. I cast a wide net, she was 3 hr drive away. We agreed to meet half-way location. She didn't ask for anything. I was planning a possible FC session after M&G although it was not clearly communicated to her. We met for a coffee, she is a cute 25 old, much better looking than her profile pictures. We connected immediately (despite 35 year age difference) talked for about an hour. She said she was going to hang out with a friend that day, but agreed to meet next weekend. She was willing to drive to my house for 3 hrs for meet ups (after I mentioned I hate hotel scene) . Her reasoning was that she was going to meet her friend anyway, so spending for gas for the drive was on her and her car has good gas milage. I was thinking WTF, where is the catch. I am still scratching my head wondering where the catch is. She is 8/10 both looks and body, clean, nice smelling, loves sex, and most of all minimum chat between meets. She works two jobs, has a nice car, and on time arrival. I never believed in Unicorns. May be I have found one. Guys, keep on hunting, be smart and most off all be positive and treat the girls well. Listening to them and taking interest of their life and offering some honest advice go a long way. But keep your distance so that they don't catch feelings. And, they don't like clingy old men.

I been using reward points and day use this week. $200-$300 plus most of the hotels at Tysons are fully book. Fairfax Marriott today was out of king bedrooms. Got 2 full beds, when I only needed one. Summer time is when I end up using most of my reward points.

Are you using DayUse?I've noticed the same. Had to got to a Best Western in Springfield today because all of my Tysons and Arlington hotels were astronomical. Same on last weekend. And Dayuse had no inventory today and very limited last weekend. I think it's simple supply and demand. We are in prom and high school graduation season, so perhaps lots of families and friends visiting from out of town and driving up prices.

I have a backup ghost account that I use time to time just to check to see if a gal has blocked me on my main account, etc.. I hadn't used in quite a while but I tried this evening and I got this message that my account has been put on temporary hold and that I'm required to get verified and to submit a govt Id, etc.. Is this now the new requirement when you sign up for a new account?? Cause I'll be damned if I'm giving them any type of legitimate information about me.Haven't heard that. I also have two accounts, I alternate between them, one is much newer (couple of years) than the other. The old one got spanked for violating TOS, I did their little hoop jumping to get it reactivated, but then also disputed the violation, I didn't do anything but report a girl who wanted me to Venmo her $ to see her private pics. They are very slow, I never got a reply.
I also recently got a request from them to verify someone I had turned in for soliciting $ for sex. It was so long ago, I could not recall details. She had sent me info by text, I took screenshots of her texts and supplied those to the site when I originally reported her. So I didn't have anything to add.

Tons of ways to get fingerprint of a device / browser.I use the same everything, it has occurred to me that seeking probably realizes that both accounts are me. That one got (temporarily) suspended did not seem to affect the other one however. I have only rarely been logged in to both at the same time. For that I used different browsers. That was to, for example, copy over some message content.
I have several messages I use repeatedly over time, while there are a few girls who take umbrage at 'cut and paste' messages, the facts are the facts, as long as they are just that, I don't really see why they get so high and mighty about it. Of course I try to write customized messages reflecting their profile content, etc. , but a lot of girls don't have anything to grab onto.
