Seeing them on the field next to each other there was a distinct difference. Then you have the shifty RBs. When the fourth qtr came you could see UH had no fight left. I went Rebels half and game but was hard to cheer among other UH fans 😂127944;!

Players end up gassed in the fourth quarter as you say "no fight". Any line on the next game vs SDSU at home? Stay Safe gents.

I wonder how many people going make excuses for Timmy Chang when he gets fired. Gurantee some people going say he never get enuff time.Well the die hard losers who still cling to inexperienced Timmy "pop warner" Chang are all need of psychological evaluation. Delusional and stupid to hire this loser Chang when NFL proven June Jones also applied for the HC position. No don't hire non-experienced, non-proven former student player of June Jones for a football head coach. It's like trying to hire some wiener 5 inch for a top porno star video instead of a proven 12 inch packing star. No can do baby, go back to mama and suck her tits, Timmy needs more milk to get his "manhood" in shape.

Also, with all the idiots in the UH Administration and in our political circles, that creates more problems for Hawaii. I am happy for Timmy to at least get some money for what he did to help the program in the past. In my opinion, he will probably last another year or so before he gets fired. Go get um Timmy.

Did you see how many kids this guy has? He's competing with Philip Rivers to see who can have the most kids.
Even if Timmy is getting paid way less the previous UH head coaches, I think he's just happy that he can coach the team he played for and has a good amount of money for his family. Yup, the $600,000 he's receiving for 2023 will likely place him in the top one-percent of American household incomes.
Ganot and Robin needs to go too. Mens basketball has been a big disappointment and since Shoji left what has the women's Volleyball team done? Absolutely nothing and Hawaii is known for good Volleyball teams. Laura Beemen is a very good basketball coach and we all know what Charlie has done with men's Volleyball.

San Jose destroying UH right now as I type this (3rd quarter).UH got slayed by Spartans. Couldn't score, pass protect or run block. Leading rusher was the punter with 17 yds on a fake. How low can this team go? Matlin should have hired Jones as head coach when he had the chance. Stay Safe on the Sabbath.
How low can this team go? On the ESPN College Football Power Index, covering all 133 FBS teams, currently there are only 5 teams ranked lower than UH.

Stay Safe on the Sabbath. You got that right, another continuing episode of stupidity decisions in not hiring a proven winning record of June Jones and throwing the football program over the cliff with losers coaches. First it was VonAppen and more losers including the current Timmy Chang. He should at least walked away with a "respectable" losing number by throwing in the towel before the Spartans made hamburger meat of UH. June Jones actually trained Timmy Chang to operate the Run and Shoot program as a quarterback. But its much easier than being the head coach as June Jones with NFL experience.

On the ESPN College Football Power Index, covering all 133 FBS teams, currently there are only 5 teams ranked lower than UH.That is both an astounding and telling fact. UH needs a more experienced and reputable head coach in order to recruit better talent.
On another topic, how is Chevan Cordeiro still playing college ball? He must be a professional college player by now. He played at UH in 2018 so this is his sixth season right?

Hire June Jones! No not June Jones because it seems UH don't like him.
NICK ROLOVICH.
Hire June Jones! My opinion on now hiring June Jones as UH head football coach may be unpopular, but I think some UH fans tend to have a favorable image of him that's frozen in time.
June Jones is now seventy years old. Being an FBS college head coach can be a stressful, high-pressure position that demands long hours of work and mental acuity to achieve success. As an old guy myself, and knowing many other old guys, I'm quite familiar with how old age can reduce vim and vigor.
Jones abruptly quit his last college head coaching position, at SMU, because of unexplained "personal issues" that to my knowledge he still hasn't specifically addressed. He had a losing record at SMU (36 W and 43 L). With only one exception, he lost to every ranked team he played during his six complete seasons and one partial season at SMU. SMU was outscored 88 to 6 in the two games Jones coached for SMU the year he quit.
Some people cite his NFL coaching experience, but the last time he was an NFL head coach was a quarter of a century ago. Overall, he had a losing record as an NFL head coach (22 W and 36 L), and wasn't retained in either of his NFL head coach positions. If he's such a brilliant pro coach, why hasn't he been hired as an NFL head coach or even an NFL assistant coach in the twenty-five years since then?
Earlier this year, he admitted he was speeding, and was arrested and charged with DUI in Honolulu. That DUI case is still pending. Who knows what other problems he may have in his personal life.
So, when emotion, sentimentality and good memories from many years ago are removed from the decision, it seems his time to be head coach at UH has passed.
Hire June Jones! You know, I think the primary reason why these chicken head losers don't want June Jones to again "get back in the saddle" is not because of his outstanding role as UH head coach winning records but because he not only "takes charge" while on the field, but also attracts allot of "special attention" from females who admire a "man that decides his destination". In other words both married and single females want his manhood where it belongs, in their wanting pussies. And coach June Jones being a man of honor, is not letting these horny females go unsatisfied. So these guys who are afraid their wives or GF may get bedded by JJ so therefore he never got their votes for head coach.
No not June Jones because it seems UH don't like him..Exactly who I was thinking of as a good choice. Rolo screwed himself over covid and this would be his one chance to redeem himself. Bring back Stuts while your at it. Jones is damaged goods with a major issues off the field.
Hire June Jones! No Jones & Rolo.

No not June Jones because it seems UH don't like him.
NICK ROLOVICH.Until the very end when UH atlectic director kept him hanging on new extension contract, June Jones had no choice to either continue with UH and no contract or jump the fence when SMU already offered him not just a raise in pay, but to fund his upgrading proposals. Hell JJ also proposed the same plans to UH, but fell on deaf ears, so he had no choice but to leave. Now with Rolovich, he bagged out the minute another college offered him a contract while UH also offered one. So no loyalty with Rolovich who would probably repeat bailing out again.
LOL. June lucky never have video and pic crazies back then. His "bronze dick" is legendary. So many women, so little time.

Crimson Tide did what Oregon could not and has upset the apple cart. Michigan took care of business as did Florida State. How far will Georgia drop? Do the Seminoles move up to #3 or 4? Does Bama and / or Texas leapfrog Florida State? We shall find out soon. Stay Safe.
Michigan, Washington, Texas, Alabama in CFP. Sadly FSU was denied into CFP. Next year the CFP will have 12 teams in CFP. Hoping no more controversy next year on who the 12 elite should be in. If I was a AD at a school, I'd schedule a Big12, SEC, ACC, Big10 team on schedule every year. Bowl matchups looking good this year. Hono1.
Sadly FSU was denied into CFP.While it's true that Florida State was undefeated, and that Alabama and Texas had one loss, strength of schedule should also be examined. Indeed, the selection committee's bylaws require that the committee include "strength of schedule" as a factor to be considered. In the current ESPN strength of schedule rankings, Alabama is ranked at number 5 and Texas is ranked at number 13, but Florida State is ranked substantially lower at a mediocre number 55. Would the Florida State team have been undefeated if it played a strength of schedule as tough as Alabama or Texas? Maybe not.

And say Alabama or Texas wins the Championship and FSU does beat Georgia how can a 1 lost team be Champions when another team will be undefeated?
And say Alabama or Texas wins the Championship and FSU does beat Georgia how can a 1 lost team be Champions when another team will be undefeated?Personally, I have no problem with a one-loss team becoming national champion if the one-loss team has a substantially better strength of schedule ranking than a no-loss team.
If undefeated status was the sole determinant of which four teams should be in the national championship playoff, then Liberty, currently undefeated but with a very poor ESPN strength of schedule rank of 133, would be in the national championship playoff.

Again if Georgia wins no problem. From CBS Sports: "No. 6 Georgia made a resounding statement for its excellence during the 2023 season with a 63-3 drubbing of No. 5 Florida State in the Orange Bowl. The 60-point margin is now the biggest in bowl game history".
So, by the words of your own prior posts, the committee was "right" to leave Florida State out of the national championship playoffs.
they said the reason Florida state wasn't invited was because the QB got injured had nothing to do with there scheduleWrong. Strength of schedule wasn't the only factor, but it was explicitly one of the factors. Sports Illustrated:
Strength of schedule was also a big part of the discussion for the committee. Alabama had four wins over the top 25, and Florida State at three. Alabama had the fifth best strength of schedule, while Florida State's was 55th. 'It's a factor, and it's a part of our protocol as we look at it,' (committee chairman) Corrigan said. 'Alabama's strength of schedule was significantly higher than Florida State's'.So, as I said before, strength of schedule was definitely relevant.

FSU had a great season, that is why you play the game and in the next phase of the playoffs, my friends and I have always enjoyed creating our own playoffs, seating all the teams in Round 1 and then a reseed (and left alone) to see how the last 12 years would have played out. A good thought was also made by a couple of us, to fulfill your NIL, you would need to fulfill your obligations to the team, teammates, and school to receive the rest (100%) of your NIL $$ Part of doing business with your athletics, it is a business and it should be treated as such. Part of it turning into a pay-for-play league and holding these very young adults probably more $$$ than they would ever receive if they do not hit the end goal of the NFL.

There is a conspiracy that the SB logo colors predicts the actual SB teams. It's been accurate for the past 3 SB. So I am going with it.
But deep inside I wouldn't be mad if the Bills or the Lions make it in. Those fans deserve a SB appearance. Sorry Dallas fans, I have lost to much money on the Cowboys in the playoff's, I have trust issues. But, this is the best situation for the Cowboys to prove me wrong and make it into the SB.
Entertainment vs real competition? Who knows. Dallas and Cleveland would be a head scratcher, but Lamar always fades in the playoffs.
Pulling for the old man at Cleveland who looks pretty good and can still throw the deep ball. Ravens and Bills secondary can be had.

Thinking that the NFL is fixed is always in the back of my mind (and probably all you gamblers out there too). But what really made me believe it was true was when Ray Lewis announced he was retiring at the end of the season. His announcement seemed to pave the way for the Baltimore Ravens straight to the Super Bowl. They weren't looking too good and only had a slim chance of making the Super Bowl, but all of a sudden started winning games that they shouldn't have, got the wild card, and kept winning games they shouldn't have, all the way to the Super Bowl. What a storybook ending for Ray Lewis. But it sure looked fixed to me (and my bankroll) because I bet against them every step of the way!
So it's funny that you mentioned Flacco, who was at the center of that storybook ending season too. Could this be NFL Fairytale the sequel?

So it's funny that you mentioned Flacco, who was at the center of that storybook ending season too. Could this be NFL Fairytale the sequel?Evidence of cheating unlikely to be proven in the world of sports gambling (not only football; ALL sports on the books). There was once a segment on 60 Minutes about this subject: one pro offensive lineman was caught on film pointing to the flow of play (in his stance). Nobody when pursue or prove nothing; not enough to pursue or prove. Closest you going get to having one chance to win is often "slim and none;" watching the opening odds and line movement thereafter, if any, would be one unguaranteed way to take one calculated risk. Entertainment and Fairytale, IMO.

Will Joe Flacco bethe Saviour of Cleveland?

Bruh, kudos to the Packers on their win. But, Damn! The Cowboys should change their name to the ChokeBoys. Their Defence looked lost and confused. By the 3rd quarter, they looked defeated.

Good games on Saturday. Baltimore pulled away in the 4th quarter and great last minute touchdown by Purdy and the Niners. Based on what was mentioned in previous posts, "purple and red" are this year's Super Bowl colors. Will it be these two teams?

Early line for SuperBowl is San Francisco-1 and 47.5. Might be a revenge grudge match from when Chiefs came from behind to pull out the win. I will side with the Niners and the over.
Too early for lay one bet but going: KC (game only, +1.5 to -1.0); over (47.5). LV probably going be crazy; wish I was dea.

Thoughts (who cares?): Chances for my reservations for come in is if get one TIE after regulation (supposed to be one epic game so get one good chance) as KC may be losing until the final moments. KC wins if Purdy is intercepted, McCaffery is contained, KC defense gets more turnovers (the usuals). Additionally, hard for bet against Mahomes / Kelce combo and Taylor effect (along with the lolo conspiracy theories), LOL. KC loses if the damn receivers keep dropping the passes and RBs fumble.
Good luck, you buggahs.
Would like to see MR irrelevant win a superbowl and silence the haters. Who am I kidding, haters still going to talk even if they win them. SF got to fix their slow starting issues or else it's going to be a rough one for them. Putting a little on KC half, SF game and the over. And I bought some $50 squares, hoping for a hit and get Vegas money next month. Chee! Good luck to all that betting.

Good luck, you buggahs. You were right about the running back fumbles. But to me that blocked PAT was the killer. Purdy looked poised in the first half but the Magic Man Mahomes does it again. CMC has a great game in the loss. Overall a very entertaining game well worth watching. Stay Safe.
Yeah, lost my bets but no care. Game was good. Knew it was a loss once Greenlaw got hurt, and Deebo left for a few series.
KC was held in check with the two linebackers playing with their hair on fire, LOL.
Mahomes exploited the weakness once 2nd string went in, linebacker was totally out of positon and too slow to stop the progress.
San Fran was out coached in the red zone. Too bad. OC got owned. Was good to see them play the big game—at least was way better than the Fleagles last year, LOL.

Mahomes proved once again he going on GOAT status at QB. The SF OT strategy going be debated, given the new rules of OT. Purdy's game style no match his current offensive personnel; watch for receiving corp overhaul / upgrade. All IMO only.

No recent posts lately so here goes. Mavs avoided the dreaded sweep pushing it to a game 5. Kind of makes sense that the Celtics want to claim their championship at home. Going to be a big party Monday night in Bean Town. Found it interesting that the NBA doesn't make any money on the finals TV deal unless it goes to a game 6. Not sure if you men are watching the Stanley Cup finals but the Panthers can sweep the Oilers on the road or maybe Edmonton can force a game 5 as did Dallas. Also the final 2 rounds of the US Open this weekend. Stay safe this weekend gentlemen.

In one year it's impossible to assemble your own team with players you recruit, granted he did worse than the previous year but only by 3 games. Garbage in, garbage out, I'd blame management about this being a little premature. Monty Williams was no slouch, in 2022-2023 he led the pistons to the semi finals in the west leaving people scratching their heads that he was let go. He was also NBA coach of the year in 2022.

A wise investment by the Green Bay Packers or too much risk?
Young quarterback Jordan Love, age 25, has recently received a huge four-year contract extension from the Green Bay Packers. A total of $220,000,000, averaging $55,000,000 a year, which ties him with only two other NFL players for the highest average annual pay amount in NFL history. Notably, Love's contract extension includes a $75,000,000 signing bonus and $155,000,000 in guaranteed money (70 percent).
Personally, I'm happy for him. Yet at this point, Love has started only 20 NFL games, with a 10-10 record and only one playoff win (although he did play quite well in the latter part of last season). Is that a sufficient basis to predict his quality of play for the next four years? The huge contract extension for Love will also reduce the amount of salary-cap space to pay other Packers players.
What say you?
By the way, he's engaged to be married. Hope he retains the best prenup attorney in America!
Hope he can adjust to the NFL focus on his weakness this year—they will figure it out as they always do. Great will rise above, as he no show signs of Mahomes or Manning.
Wonder what happened to all the experts who said Gaulf is the next Serena. Not even close she is mentally weak and brainwashed privilege attitude. Love will be tested in the same manner this year.
As more teams figure him out. Hope he can rise above the privilege owe me attitude of previous wash outs who claim discrimination with cry baby attitude. Love get guarantee big bucks and should.
Be smiling all the way to the bank like Wilson.

This will be Timmy's 3rd season if they end up with losing record will he be fired or will there be a 4th season for him?Presumably, one of the various factors considered would be the buyout that UH will owe Coach Chang if he's terminated after the 2024 season and has no 2025 season. The salary his contract provides for 2025 is $750,006. The buyout amount provided in the contract would be lower, but still substantial: $400,000 according to KHON2 (or $450,000 according to College Football Network). UH would need to pay the buyout to Coach Chang in addition to the salary of the new coach for 2025.

He works fairly cheap as a Head Football Coach and he is well liked by most of the people. It is very hard to win in Hawaii so we will never be a top football program. If Nick Saban came to Hawaii, he also would not be able to win here so give the Hawaii coaches a break.
This will be Timmy's 3rd season if they end up with losing record will he be fired or will there be a 4th season for him?I think he's doing good enough for what he's got and don't think he should lose his job anytime throughout his contract, unless he has a winless season. I think everyone's got to get over the success we had under JJ cause it ain't happening again unless we move to a weaker conference / division. With that being said they should at least schedule easier non conference games just to make the record look a little better and keep the attendance up.

I think he's doing good enough for what he's got and don't think he should lose his job anytime throughout his contract, unless he has a winless season.Isn't "unless he has a winless season" a very low standard? It's not that difficult to avoid "a winless season". Just schedule one or more powder puff teams like Delaware State. Delaware State had a 1-10 record last season; is in a quite weak FCS conference where only one team had a winning record last season; and before the start of this 2024 season was ranked 258 out of 264 college football teams by RealTime RPI. By the way, I'm not saying that Coach Chang should be dismissed, just that avoiding "a winless season" could be too low of a criterion.

https://www.civilbeat.org/2023/12/university-of-hawaii-athletics-needs-your-money-to-survive-heres-how-college-sports-finances-are-changing
"UH's lack of the big revenue seen by other college athletic programs is hampering its ability to compete, especially in the high-finance sport of football".
I wonder why there was so much hype about UH recruiting that 3 star QB from Bishop Gorman but he not playing? If Shagar is the best they got they in big trbl. BTW I'm am sure if Saban was coaching here he would have won yesterday. UCLA will get there ass kicked in the Big 10 this year and UH had them beat but it's a 4 quarter game so it is what it is.
Usually, I like it when an unranked college football team wins against a highly ranked team, even though almost everyone thought the underdog would lose. Congratulations to the Northern Illinois Huskies, from the mediocre MAC conference, who last weekend not only achieved a "stunning upset" over Notre Dame in Notre Dame's own sold-out stadium, but also will get paid $1,400,000 from Notre Dame for playing that game. It was the Huskies first ever victory over a top-ten nationally ranked team (Notre Dame was ranked #5 at the time), and their first nonconference victory over any nationally ranked team since 2003.
Advice to Notre Dame: next time, maybe schedule Delaware State (smile).

If Timmy gets fired UH should go get Kenny Niumatalolo. Has anyone notice what he is doing at San Jose St.Two factors that could be relevant would be any payment that Coach Niumatalolo would owe to San Jose State for breaking his five-year contract (which began this year), and how much money Coach Niumatalolo is currently making at San Jose State (unknown to me). The San Jose State coach prior to Coach Niumatalolo (Brent Brennan) reportedly made at least $2,300,000 for 2023.

The 49 ers are at home this Sunday giving the Chiefs 1. 5, I thought the line would be higher, about 3 or 3. 5. KC is still undefeated and San Fran is just 3-3 but records are just a stat. KC has the superior QB but for the most part the rest of the team is weaker. Shanahan might be the better head coach and I think Nick Sorensen is better than Spags.

I View Shananhan as just a good coach with all the talent the 9 ers got they suppose to already have won at least 1 Superbowl under Shananhan. Alot of peeps talk about how good Shanahan is like they talk about Belechak being the goat? Is Belechek as good as people say? He was a loser before Brady and a lose after Brady and that is fact but people still call him the Goat coach? I would say Shananhan is better than Belechek even tho he has won nothing but Belechek has won nothing without Brady.

Of course, the attractive young girlfriend is completely unrelated to Bill's net worth reportedly being about $70,000,000, even before he recently signed a five-year college coaching contract (three years guaranteed) at $10,000,000 per year, plus potential bonuses.

No one saw the AD / Luca trade happening. Dallas never like pay the 350 mil max contract at the end of the year, I get that but why trade them to the Lakers? Why not to someone in the east. So you don't have to deal with them as much. Luca going to use that fuel for the fire and torch Dallas every time they play them. Maybe not this month as the team needs to build chemistry but for years to come, I'd take the overs on his props anytime Lakers play Dallas.

I'm sure no other team would have traded what Dallas needed a Superstar Big Guy. Its not like Dallas is tanking now they have Kyrie, Klay, and AD 2 shooters and a big who plays defense.

Good luck until then.I'm sure the refs will be "very" careful to make the right calls this game. There's too many eyes are going to point their fingers if the Chiefs win with questionable calls. Vegas never loses, so "who do the want (need) to win? Everyone is probably going to ride the Chief's train to 3-peat. I'm going opposite and will be rooting for the Eagles 🦅 to fly to victory.

Can't win 'em all. Lost the half, game; won the over. Still lost with a little cushion of losing with the 'over' win. Next time might listen to them animals and critters.
Yankees over. Keep playing them till they ban the torpedo bats.

Good play call, LOL. As for the bats, just like the aluminum ones?9-7 yanks today. Over hit 4 of last 5.
No, they're still wooden bats. Just the way they are shaped, maybe weight distribution has something to do with it. Can't be corked, can't use a bigger piece of wood, got to meet weight requirements etc.
Putting a little on the dodgers today. Let's see if their hot streak continues on the road.
