If we were to get all bent up at every provider that has, at one time or another, pulled a no show, or changed the appointment at last minute, or gave us shitty service, the complaints would be a mile long.

For the few that feel shafted, there are many that were and are 100% satisfied. Because the provider in question is a friend of mine, and someone I enjoy seeing, only because she knows me, you guys feel it's open season on her. Not cool at all. Again, rip me all day long, I have thick skin. But if we want to start calling out providers who have done things we don't agree on, the field day would be huge!

Who is that lady that you would want to see if you knew, for whatever reason, it would be your last "hobby date" ever..I guess this goes to the 'root' of the question. As for ATF's mine is clearly SaraofAlbany. A number of years ago after discovering sites like this, I found Sara. Her reviews were and still are, always excellent. She was my first real "date" with a professional lady and I have seen her many times over the years. Each meeting was a experience and time to remember..Sara is a top notch provider, no question. For the best GFE she is hard to beat. In fact, she was my ATF for a while back in 2005. Now 10 yrs later I am more a fan of the PSE. So while I look fondly back at the memories I have of my time with her, my newer dynamic blows that out of the water. L10.To get it straight, there was NEVER a set appointment. He asked what time I would be available I stated I didn't know I had to work until 1 p and to give me a call then to see if I will be around. Now mind you I have two seperate cell phones, a personal and a hobby. When I am at work I leave my hobby phone home. My shift relief ended up running late at work and I didn't leave until 3 p. I am sorry for not responding back but I am not responding to a text or call that is more then an hour old for the fact I don't know your personal life.

Perhaps if you want a response regardless and it's safe to respond anytime, you could include that in your message so she knows it's ok.

Totally agree with Rdavis and I am glad SD has this policy. I for one don't want to be texted or called when I am at home with family, in fact I do take extreme precautions to ensure this does not happen. I usually have a narrow window in which to contact and meet providers, if I can't do it in that window I have to look at another day / window. I have had the same experience as WJ with plenty of providers at different times who want you to call or txt later or will say that they will call / txt later. But I believe the onus is always on the hobbyist to get back to the provider especially if there is no appointment in place. Of course this does not apply if the timing is mutually agreed upon and the provider renegs on the appointment.

WJ, my comments are not directed against you or anyone else, but just general observations.

I should provide a disclaimer here that I have seen SD at least a couple of times and thoroughly enjoyed my visits.

I do small talk with the providers, never give details of my personal life, nor do I want details of theirs. I go for the action and leave. I find some providers can't keep there personal "stories" straight anyway. Some tell different fairy tales all day long, that's fine, whatever gets them thru the day / nightmare they are most likely living. I remember this is a business and they are doing this for the money so if some guy is going to get blown off for another regular they know and trust for the most part that's just how it is, I have been ditched by new providers for what I am sure is some regular, They tell you a story no it wasn't I was running late my roommate needed the car or blah blah blah and meanwhile you see in the bathroom a condom floating in the toilet. It comes down to how bad you want to see the girl and what your willing to put up with to get a date. Never take anything a provider does personally. While some of them are absolutely great and treat hobbyists very well, this is ultimately a business for them.

Providers have personal lives. Boyfriends, sometimes husbands, kids, and other things going on that we hobbyists are not a part of.

When a provider pulls a no call, no show then don't take it personally. It's nice that people post when this happens because it gives fellow mongers a heads up. I know I appreciate knowing a provider has a history of being unreliable.

At the same time, if you have had a different experience with the same provider, definitely post that information, but leave it at that, don't take the other post as an attack.

If you know a fellow monger is out and out lying, then PM the other person and / or admin of the board and figure ot a way to work it out. Flame fests on the discussion board don't do any of us any good, and they drive away people who are looking for information.

Treat the providers (even the bad ones) politely and with respect. Do the same with your fellow mongers, especially the ones who post reviews as guideposts for the rest of us.

But the hyperbole gets to be a little annoying after a while. What starts out as funny and amusing, quickly becomes tiresome and confusing. Normally, I would just let it go. But its obvious that others see it as well.

The number of fake ads on BP has become a blight on our hobby. Nothing we can do about it. Is it my imagination? I also can't help but notice the increase in TS ads mixed in with female escorts. Am I wrong? Isn't there a category for she males. Backpage could care less it's all about profit.Well someones is been taking care of those fake ads. As most of you know pretty much all of them re scams people that try to get our info etc etc etc.

5. Click add to ignore list
