First let me say, I went in this eyes wide open, so don't flame me! SA is my candy store, so based on info on the forum (thanks to all that post), I decided to see a young stripper, near UC. Anyway the short of it, I did have a good time, killer body, and she delivered everything I needed, in fact she was very friendly and responsive with comms, and we actually had a nice online buildup to our fun. The fun time was actually pretty hot. I know this forum has been more for cross sharing notes on SBs but wanted some thoughts from the group on a personal experience. It is almost always a mistake to started acting like a potential life partner instead of an older mentor with benefits. It *does* sound like you got lucky (or unlucky depending) the first time out. Your recent experiences may feel different because you have not fully recovered from the infatuation. It is also the case, for me, that the longer I see someone the better and more intimate the sex gets. I have a few SB's I have been seeing for years and we are really good friends but nothing more. A good strategy to get over one chick is to find and bang a much hotter chick. Temporarily pay a little more to step up your choices. The sex can get back to what you are expecting. You just have to keep going out.
It is possible to find other coeds or young babies who can match the sexual experience. You should *not* want to repeat the romantic involvement. I think you did hit a diamond, but that's not to say it couldn't happen again. I am polar opposite of you, I am basically a one and done and move on. Some SB are cool with that, and some text me wanting and almost begging to meet back up. I don't have an ego and I know its almost always the $$ they are after, but a few of them have seemed pretty genuine and even offered some non sugar related activities to do.
My point is that I'd say 80% are in it for the quick buck, but there is that 20% that might want something closer to what you are looking for. If you want that again, I'd keep searching. You may get lucky twice.

An interesting article from Cory Doctorow about how online platforms start by offering value to both sellers and buyers, then end up extracting value from both in order to funnel as much money as possible to the venue's shareholders / owners.

Doctorow is writing about Facebook, Amazon, and TikTok, but the same thing applies to Seeking.
1.) Seeking began with a simple value proposition for both male and female members. We might think of men as "buyers", and the women as "sellers".
2.) The site offered college girls (and a lot of young single moms) an online venue where they could find trustworthy sugar daddies with low transaction costs.
3.) The site offered men who were *not* happy with the usual older, rough-looking escorts a place where they could find youngish girl-next-door types who would be willing to provide intimate companionship for moderate amounts of money. Transaction costs were low for buyers, too.
4.) Anyone who was a member of the site through 2018 or so agrees that it was great, with the peak probably occurring between 2012 and 2016.
5.) Seeking rapidly edged out other sites to achieve a virtual monopoly in the online sugar dating market. In 2011, SugarDaddyforMe was a good site. By 2013 it was dying. At present, there is no viable alternative to Seeking, because of the inherent network effect of a niche dating market.
6.) Then Seeking started raising fees. In the beginning, a membership was $50 per month. A membership now costs $110 per month.
7.) This price increase took place even as the Seeking experience was deteriorating for male members. Scammers, fake accounts, and inappropriate members (too many older women who are looking for conventional dating experiences) now comprise more than 60% of the female profiles.
8.) Then the rebranding of Valentine's Day 2022. Seeking basically became an eHarmony with 10 x the price tag. The sugar daddy value proposition used to be displayed on the splash page. Now that is gone, and Seeking is indistinguishable from any conventional dating site. This was mostly done to protect Brandon Wade (the owner) from any possible legal liabilities. (Also, Wade claimed to have fallen in love with a woman 30 years his junior.).
9.) The rebranding hurt female members as much as the men. Nowadays, I'm seeing so many profiles from middle-age (35- to 50-year-old) women looking for their next trophy husband. But how many of them are going to find that on Seeking? They would be much better off on Match, eHarmony, or even Tinder.
10.) At the same time, the site's messaging is unclear to young women who might actually be looking for a sugar daddy, à la 2013. (Keep in mind, a 19-year-old in 2022 wasn't on the site in 2013 or 2016; and she is not necessarily aware of the site's history.).
11.) I predict that Seeking will enter a death spiral at some point soon, and a new platform will arise. We need a new venue that connects ordinary women with paying gents for hookups, but still gives them some measure of discrimination (the ability to pick and choose the men they hang with), and that avoids the dreaded "escort" or "sex worker" connotation. This is what Seeking used to do. Now it doesn't.
12.) I can't see where Seeking provides a good value proposition to anyone right now, either men or women. Even the scammers are wasting their time on the site.

I have modified my approach from time to time. Today, I alternate a few approaches in which I change three or four words each time. I have not been blocking scammers. Instead, I send them a brief note saying hello and some minor politeness. Doing so allows me to confirm if they are truly scammers. On a few rare occasions, they are not. It is possible Seeking admins are looking for a lot of messages in a defined period. I chat with a lot of people. The day before the ban, I had ten messages in my inbox. I may have sent out another dozen or so approaches or follow-ups. Perhaps it's a numbers thing.
In any case, they declined my appeal and I have requested a refund and that they delete my credit card info from all their systems. They said I was being banned from Seeking and all their sister accounts but my account on WYP, under a different email, is still active. I also have an unpaid back-up account that I can use to view profiles. I can still answer questions from memory. I am pretty sure I know what I must do to get back on the site but I am going to take a break from Seeking and experiment with a few of the alternatives. Maybe I can develop my skills on those sites to match my performance on Seeking.
The real tragedy for me is that I had accumulated a ton of data on various profiles that I had saved via profile notes. Those are now gone. I am going to have to revert to my older notes system which was a lot more work. More work means being a lot more selective on what I save.

When you get banned they keep:
IP address, account email, card number used for membership, your name and card address info, any pictures you used.
What to do to get back website.
Clear browser cache, Use VPN (may not be necessary), new email (outlook works), new payment card, use different pictures. Don't pay for a few days after you create a new account. Wait for pics to be approved. Then away you go. If you pay for a membership (Vanilla gift card may work, if not use it for gas). Don't enter your previously used name, address or zip code. You will get banned again. You can put any zip code you want when you activate a gift card. You can create multiple accounts using several email addresses with outlook. JohnDoe1@outlook.com JohnDoe2@outlook.com etc.

Most of the current providers (and real sugar babies, for that matter) are older women who started prior to the pandemic. There is a minimal influx of young newbies, or even older newbies, for that matter. We have a labor supply problem, just like Home Depot and your local restaurant.
The hobby has always been very cyclical. In the early 2000's, when unemployment was around 3. 5%, people were paying $400 for obese / old providers who primarily advertised on a now defunct message board. I about gave up on the hobby altogether around 2006.
Then the financial meltdown happened in 2007 to 2008. In 2011 and 2012, I was getting bonafide college chicks on Seeking (then Seeking Arrangements) for $200. The good times continued through about 2016, and had a slow taper off from 2017 until 2020.
I am in reasonably good shape for a middle age man, and I have good social skills. But I'm very average looking and well under six feet tall. I do horribly on apps like Tinder and Bumble.
I was landing hot college chicks in 2012 for $200 because supply and demand conditions were in my favor then. Now, however, you have too many guys chasing too few women, so prices are going up. And the quality is not so good, and selection is extremely limited. In thinking about the purpose of the forum here on this thread I will share what I have found in honor of Bam. Even though he surfs a different site than me, I still find his updates and insight in sorting scams, rinsers, fakes, etc. Very helpful. In crossing over from the escort threads on trying to find the right little bunny rabbit for me to the sugar baby scene.
1st is cost differential. The investment of credits verses returns can vary wildly. The education from this thread has saved me alot. My education from the school of hard knocks has been expensive and frustrating at times. First and formost, the little guy cannot be allowed to make any more decisions past the first profile review of " I'd tap that". LOL, this can be an expensive lesson. The level of profiles that are scams and cons are very high. The websites typically have a certain rate of NPC's, LOL. The website staff create a percentage of fake profiles to lure more guys into spending credits. A lot of these (not all) is the messages / contacts that reach out to you, you spend credits to reply / open the message, and never hear from again.
As in any vice, the sites are full of phishing scams / profiles. They are trying to get your personal info to re-sell on the dark web as verified info (gets a higher price).

BTS.Thanks for the kind words. Glad to see you step up. I have been experimenting with both SB and WYP during my hiatus from Seeking. The challenge on both sites is avoiding wasting money on profiles that will never engage. I used to puzzle how there could be so many SB profiles with videos that never responded. I now suspect the site is copying out of area profiles and duplicating them. No proof of this but I notice the occasional profile that appears in my local search that have a location pretty far away.
It requires discipline to avoid spending money on hot looking profiles that keep popping up but if they do not look at your profile, it is almost certain they are either not interested or not real. I may join you in starting to capture the dry holes to help others avoid wasting money.
I actually met one of the profiles on your list: amorxfati. She posts on all the sugar sites. We did a MnG about a year ago when I was still on Seeking. She is older than her pictures suggest. She wanted 600 ppm. I got the impression she mostly targets visiting business men. She is still a handsome woman but not worth what she is asking. Someone who sees her only once is not going to know that.

I would 100% agree with this. SA is awesome and you get a lot of contacts, but sometimes I just need to add 1 or 2 to the rotation. I've been hesitant to pursue WYP or SB just due to the lack of info on here as compared to SA. Would love more dialog regarding the other sites. If we get it started I'll contribute as I have with SA before.

Anyone have any tips on seeking ladies who are actually able to host in north cinci, ideally near mason / wc? Or just ladies relatively around that part of town? I've learned not to reply to messages unless they have viewed my profile. My profile is pretty direct on what I am looking for. Doesn't eliminate all waste, but cuts it down a lot.

Never again.For anyone that hasn't had much experience in the sugar bowl, here are some things I do and don't do for M&Gs: The only thing I ever cover without hesitation on a semi regular basis for a M&G is an Uber home if drinks were had or POSSIBLY to the meeting place, if there are some extenuating circumstances. A SB that can't get themselves to a meeting to get what they are ultimately after is a mini red flag of its own. I offer nothing other than paying for the coffee or food / drink 80% of the time.
If a M&G goes well and I want to make sure she knows I'm interested and want to move forward quickly, I might offer a small gift that 95% of the time isn't even cash (chocolates, under $100 e-gift card I can purchase quickly on my phone, etc) because when they think they can get away with doing nothing to get paid cash, they will. It's always my prerogative and at the end of the meet. If they even imply they want something for a M&G before or during, I'd immediately move on. There isn't a girl hot enough in the Cincinnati area on the SB sites to "demand" paid M&Gs and even then, any POT SB should be ready and willing to go to as many meets as needed to find their ideal arrangement. It's literally a job interview. No one should be paying girls to show up to get what they are actually looking for unless they are just looking to get rinsed. I know the $ lost isn’t a big deal to most of us if we get rinsed or flat out ripped off, but the way I look at it is I’m not encouraging bad behavior for the next guy in line and hopefully save people time not getting jerked around.
Even if you can't help yourself and think a girl is so good to be true that you have to take the risk and agree to a paid meet, at least wait until the end of the meet to pay so you can see all the red flags happen during the meet and make a decision. For god sake don't send anything ahead of time. This would help nip a lot of scammers in the bud. I would have no problem stiffing a POT that came dressed like a slob and then threw up a few other red flags, demanding to be paid even if I agreed beforehand. If you were a little more forgiving than me, you could offer her $10 for gas money before telling her to fuck off. There should be no demands for where the M&G occurs either. I usually do coffee, lunch or happy hour. I don't want to have an extravagant meeting or two hour long dinner for them to be a flop. Again if they are a serious SB looking for serious support, they will do whatever you prefer. If they are so in demand that they can next you for not offering to take them to a $500 dinner, they will do that without trying to guilt you convince you how upscale they are. If a woman seems that hot or in demand that you think you have to do that to compete, fine but that should be your prerogative not theirs, and if they showed up looking like a slob or a bait and switch not resembling their photos, don't hesitate to walk away.

BAM.Actually, they've been doing that for ages. Any messages that come across as sex in exchange for money or vice versa were flagged and accounts were / could be suspended if not banned altogether. Always best to be careful on their system, avoid ANY discussion of money, until you move to another means of communicating to get into greater detail.
