As far as I can tell, 7 & 7 s a legit place. When you call. You're asked if you want a man or woman. I chose woman. When I got there, there were 2 men in their 50-60's I think. I have to agree that Sammy is excellent and by far the better of the two. If you want to be pervman, best to stay away Sammy. Kiku gives an average massage that is overpriced to me. You can look at her menu on her website.

After trying many times over the past year, finally able to connect with Dr. Jing the other day. As she always fully booked every time Uncle try to schedule same day appointment.
Uncle so so happy to see Dr. Jing's face. She could see it in Uncle's eyes, just like the crack addict seeing their dealer, as Uncle already looking forward to the massage high that I was about to receive.
The doctor told Uncle "I know you like it hard, anyplace in particular?" I told her "all over" and she did not disappoint. Started off with some back walking, top to bottom. Found the problem areas, especially like my shoulders and traps, and started digging into them with her elbows and hands. After all the deep tissue work, finished up with some awesome stretching and back cracking.
Walked out of there feeling soo good, decided to enhance the relaxation high with a few drinks and a pizza at J Dolan's. If you never tried their pizza, it's one of the best on the island to Uncle, something about the crust that makes it so good.
Still felt the massage high for a few days after, best drugs you can find.

Rare.Same experience here, it's a Chinese place not to be confused with the Thai Paradise Massage in Waimalu. I feel that extras are highly unlikely there since she left the room door open for me also. Covered at all times and the shop boss just walked in the room twice speaking to the girl and the 2nd time to ask me how long I wanted 60 or 90 minutes. The therapist must have just left the room at least 3 - 4 times, it hard to tell while you're face down and there's no opening / closing of the door.
They were busy when I was there with couple massages. With the open door I could hear everyone walking and talking past room. Decent massage but will not repeat.

The Kakaako Amar shop did have some dark side action too if you lucky or requested certain girls from the CC shop.
Later the CC shop closed and the Kakaako Amar went strictly legit.
They also had a shop on Young street but it's gone now and I never went there.
So currently, the Kakaako amar shop is strictly legit in my experience.

I was in the area and tried this place on Keeaumoku across Walmart, Salina spa and massage. I had a Chinese MT, really good massage, full hr not including shower time. Legit for me. Anyone have experience at this place?

Note that the building locks up at 7 pm so you need to get in before that. Also, you need to sign in at the guard's desk on the first floor. The building is very sketchy looking but don't let that scare you off.
Located across the hall from Waikiki Wave Spa, this shop is brand new and more posh, with prices to match. Although it's also Chinese, there's supposedly no connection between the two. They seem to be hurting for customers, so be sure to bargain. Let them know that you're a kamaaina. They said that they didn't move here from CC or anyplace else. The receptionist looked younger. Before your session, they give you a free 10-minute foot bath. 9-7 except 9-2 on Sunday.

I visited Lexi at Kayy's spa earlier this week. She is a very sweet, local woman. Older in the face, but still very pretty. Boobs are big and round. She mentioned she is having a procedure soon, so will take time off from massaging while recuperating. Her massage technique is good, but not great. I did not get a happy ending, but I did not ask either. It just did not seem appropriate, as she seemed like she is just working to learn "front of the house" operation for her future medi-spa business. I am willing to give her a try again, when she returns, to see if my charms will work.

Cause after Massage School, they may go independent, or work at a legit place. Mind you I had my lucks and bad lucks at massage school. Some gave me their number, some said this was just a hobby, telling me sorry only for family and friends. The ones I got number, no longer live on island relocated to mainland or Asia, eyc. It's was hit or miss but I suggest check it out, you never know, you might find a hottie. Hono1.

Unlike restaurants, stores and massage shops that accept all customers that walk through their doors, businesses like First Start Thai Massage can screen their customers. You make the assumption that due to the pandemic, her customer base went into hiding. In the early days of the pandemic, massage shops had to close their doors, creating a shortage of massage therapists.
A lot is written about the price of a massage. I do not know what kind of tip you gave Amy when she massaged you, however, if compared to her other customers it was less than average, perhaps she is prioritizing her better paying clientele over you.
People write: I gave her "X" amount of dollars and she did not say anything. Just because she did not say anything does not mean it was the proper amount. She was just being polite, not burning a bridge and perhaps on a slow day, may respond to your text and bring you in for a massage.
For me, if I like the therapist for her excellent massage, good location, convenient hours, well decorated space, nice atmosphere, soothing music, enjoyable conversation, good looks or whatever, I leave a good tip to show my appreciation and hopefully the next time I want to see her, she answers my text and makes room for me in her schedule.

Needed a lomi and wanted to try a new place. Made appointment with the Kapolei Massage Institute. Lomi was spot on and price is really good. The top LMT's are booked and there are students there working towards getting the LMT license. The rooms are first class, the environment is relaxing. I went there to get the knots taken out and the goal was met. Gave my MT a really good tip for her awesome attention to me needs, no HE. I will repeat to get a really good affordable lomi.Got in another lomi at KMI, was awesome with a heated lomi table. Everything very professional, already booked for my return next week.

That is a pretty good price but if they don't massage the butt then not for me. When one has back pain, leg, pain and so on the butt or glutes are very painful and I'm a lot of discomfort. I'm not sure how Lomi Lomi is different from other types of massage. Thai Massage is the same they stretch the butt area good but can't just hit the spot. Usually Swedish massage with hand strokes over the butt works best. Not liking for the HE just a good great massage for a reasonable price. Are these locals Asians Thais?

Cause after Massage School, they may go independent, or work at a legit place. Mind you I had my lucks and bad lucks at massage school. Some gave me their number, some said this was just a hobby, telling me sorry only for family and friends. The ones I got number, no longer live on island relocated to mainland or Asia, eyc. I don't know if she still works at the Blue sky thai massage at kapolei (in the same area where safeway is) but she's totally legit for me. Her skills aren't that strong but its very soft touching and smooth. Tiny hands which I like. She got a pretty face and thin body and kinda quiet. About 5 ft tall. A couple of new stores opened up outside of CC on Kalakaua the last couple of months. Has anyone been to Spa Coral on the corner of Kalakua and Fern (around the corner from Beach Spa and Asia Spa) or to Adu Spa on Makaloa?
I did some digging around. Spa Coral appears to be owned by the same woman who runs Mia Thai Massage inside CC. I've been to Mia Thai a couple of times; the owner has been legit and gives a decent massage, though she has women on staff who provide some extras. I walked past SC the other day and only saw some old chubby shabbily dressed women inside so I kept walking.
I looked into Adu Spa; it has a lot of owners listed but I didn't recognize any. There's also no way to see inside because the windows are blocked.
These days I try to be very careful with my spending, but if I can ToFTT I will and report back.

Think about it. You tip a waiter 20% and they give you 20% of their time as they have other tables. With a massage, you have one person devoting the whole hour to you on one table. They deserve it. Now if the massage is crap, then tip accordingly.

If I'm not mistaken, Hawaii Massage Clinic is on the first floor of Century Center right next or very close to the elevators. I didn't find them very professional. They solicited me by pulling me to the side and saying we do great massage. I could be mistaken but pretty sue was them. Hawaii Massage Academy I believe is on the 24th floor run by a very professional husband and wife team. She also use to own Massage Specialist. Their prices are very reasonable. As for tipping, I usually tip $20 if it's good $10 if it's for okay. You could also change after 5 minutes if you're not happy. I did that twice. I could care less if they get upset. I'm there for a massage not a rub down. They usually will not allow elbows or butt massage and usually they ask to keep your underwear on. I hear okay can be had if you're lucky.

As for tipping, I usually tip $20 if it's good $10 if it's for okay. You could also change after 5 minutes if you're not happy. I did that twice. I could care less if they get upset. I'm there for a massage not a rub down. They usually will not allow elbows or butt massage and usually they ask to keep your underwear on. I hear okay can be had if you're lucky.

Just make sure if you find a good one, you get her digits so you can see her when she graduates. Had a few that I wished I asked before they moved on.

I feel this is probably hard to find. Just looking for a place that does massage and is covered by insurance. I have HMSA PPO. Been looking but not finding any.
The closest I have been able to find is only places that categorize under chiropractic care and during the sessions they massage you before they adjust your body.
