I have had a quite a few misses since my regular acupuncture and massage therapist went on vacay. Spoke directly to Neny at her phone number from the ad. Explained a shoulder issue I have and need for continuous work to get the knots out that some therapists are too lazy or unskilled to work through. No problem she says, strong and patient to work out all the kinks. Great for me. She then asks me, "You want appointment with me or another therapist." Well that's a bit of a red flag, but I tell her I just want to try you and not some other random person working there and get the treatment I need. No problem she says. Well, I get there exactly on time and as I am getting stuff out of my pockets in the room she says, "So, I have really good girl, strong one..." I say 'you mean you are seriously going to try switch me?' She was like, "Yeah, so." So? I am out of here. Then she tells me be quiet on the way out. I let her and her customers know what I thought. What a nasty * No sense of customer service. Place just sucks. (I put a similar negative report in Craigslist thread since I saw their ad there).

Very sweet and accommodating lady, and her studio apartment is immaculate.

I did not try her Deep Tissue so do not know what that's like, but her Swedish is alright. IMHO, Pla was among the best as well as that Brazilian girl who used to be in Waikiki but was not competitively priced (sorry can't remember her unusual name; rhymed with Virginia?). Also, the girls at Anna's were a little better too, but that place is gone.

If the massage was junk or she had major attitude and I I won't see her again, ill tip about $10-15, just to keep them from whining on the way out the door. Sometimes they forget that this is a BIZ and they act like they are doing you a favor. If massage was average to good, $20. REALLY good $25. If massage was good and hints of future play, also $25. A lot of therapists think theyre supposed to get a tip even if they don't do a good job so be careful about overtipping for service that was not actually that good.

Tried Royal Spa (Yoko's place) in Kukui Plaza Mall.

There were only 2 women there and I got assigned to the younger hotter one. Didn't matter though because that place is super legit, well beyond even a legit Thai place which I didn't think was possible. That's quite a laundry list of 'rules' posted in the room.

Although the massage quality was good, IMHO it was only marginally better than what I could get at CC and was too "clinical" for me. I was not psychologically comfortable having my torso tucked-in under sheets, with only the part currently being massaged exposed. I felt like I was about to undergo surgery.

When she was done, that was it; she thanked me and dug-out. Personally, I kind of like when the girl sticks around for her tip and we exchange our goodbyes and hugs (and digits, for those girls who are so good I would love to make direct arrangements for repeat sessions).

Now that it is so legit, I regret never having tried Yoko's girls back when she had them. On the other hand, I didn't care for what I saw in the pics back then. I'm not surprised they got busted; their space is right there like a sitting duck. I looked at that couch and pictured the working girls sitting there.

Although you can't go wrong for $36, I believe I will not repeat unless CC disappears. I would much rather spend 60 for the comfort, convenience and selection of places in CC.

Older (50?) chubby Chinese lady who speaks and understands limited English. Very friendly though, and the place is as pictured/recently remodeled.

Her massage is better than the typical Swedish; she uses her hands to really work the muscles as opposed to 'car wash' style. No use of elbows either, which I liked. I find elbows very uncomfortable. She also massaged all over, rather than over-focusing on my back as I've experienced at some Thai places. She also did a good job on my quads, lower legs and feet.

I did not want hard pressure so I cannot comment how her deep tissue massage would have been.

Very legit. Not only was it covered, but instead of a little towel over my butt, she used a sheet. At times it was partially uncovered such as for my back. Went in for a season with Grace and she did not disappoint in the therapeutic sense. She seems to be mid-late 30's filipina who has kept her body in shape and not bad looking at all. Her massage is very professional like-- with all sensitive body parts always covered. Sheet tucking etc. To make sure nothing is slipping out for a peak haha. Massage was very good. Unlike most therapist she seems to have a passion for her craft and the anatomy of the body. Used some techniques that I have never had before and is good at finding and working out knots in the upper back / neck area. Very down to earth lady with pleasurable conversation during. Only complaints are that she does not have a shower, uses knuckles here and there (which is a easy fix), and she did not work my gluteus / hip flexors at all. For those of you who are active you know how important these parts are. Other than that her massage is on point. I would get a 90 m session because 1 hour isn't enough for her to throughly hit the whole body. No hint of play. One report in the past seemed to ruin that. But you never know once you become regular. Nice lady and will repeat when in need of good legit massage.

Gai or Kai or however you spell her name claimed to have many years of experience, she said "I have massaged in many shops". However based on her lame technique I think that was untrue.

Technique: lame. You can tell a novice LMT by the technique she uses. For example Gai or Kai used her forearms in a diagonal pattern to the center in supine position. The application had no relevance to and muscles being massaged. A good LMT should understand human anatomy and should be able to find nots in muscles without asking. Gai or Kai used elbows on the shoulder blade bones. This is another indicator of an amateur MT. Overall I don't think Gai or Kai is trained or licensed. I should have left, however I TOFTT, and I am sharing my report with you all, so you can save your time and money.

Damage Control: 60 per hour plus 8 tip. Note: nobody should tip an MT for hurting them.

On another note: Ai and Nadia are both excellent at CC2402.

Had a massage session with HG today, and she's good. Comfortable environment, and it was a surprisingly good massage for a student. Better than some professional massages I've had. She was genuinely concerned with making sure I had a good experience, and she made a point of soliciting feedback on how she could improve. I left feeling a lot better than when I walked through the door, and I'd happily see her again.

The only thing uncool there is the way the girls squawk loudly to each other from right across the condo, or to your therapist through the wall. It really takes away from the tranquility; kind of destroys it, actually.

And yes she will always keep you covered but it's a pleasant place if you live on the leeward side and want to avoid the traffic in town.
