(my personal recent favorite, got this today).
- Hey, I know that were currently texting right now but I need money to reactivate my phone service. It would make me feel more comfortable about meeting you in broad daylight at 1 pm at a Starbucks because I got sexually assaulted in broad daylight by another guy in an absurdly public place on here, so for some unexplainable reason having a phone would somehow prevent that situation from happening again. That last one was fun, I like it when they get creative but unfortunately they're not smart enough to deviate from the "grandma is sick" script for too long without coming up with a completely logically incoherent story.

So I like WYP IMHO.I am going to have to agree with you on this one. SA definitely has many fake profiles. My average is about 1 out 4 or 1 out 3 will be fake. You can tell sometimes right away a person will say they are based out of Los Angeles, yet their recent location will say Philippines, Australia, Venezuela, Mexico, etc. Also, many girls will have only 1 photo on their profile and cannot furnish or ignore you if you ask for more. I have had many girls text me and then not be able to Face Time or produce photos. So, look for the clues above including the many photos of profiles that have been up only a day or2, have no information on profiles, etc. There is a great documentary here about the many boys or men in countries such as Ghana, Nigeria, Morocco, (I am sure there are many more countries) that are know as cafe boys who steal photos of girls, place fake profiles on these types of websites, and do this as a full time job. They most often have multiple profiles, and hope to get a sucker to send them money. Also, there are "catfishes" out there, even in our country, who simply have nothing better to do with their time except to make fake profiles and will attempt to waste your time until their cover is blown.

Some more clever scammers will pretend to accept your gestures so long as they can get you in a more vulnerable place such as your backseat or hotel room, and then try to have you take off your shoes and pants in the FC before any of their own clothes come off. If that happens, they're getting ready to dash. At that point, toss the skank out ASAP and be prepared to regulate the situation.
