It amazes me when visiting these cities and making comparisons to places like Gastonia. If so much as one single woman walks on airline in a bikini, even if it's a 100 degrees out, she's probably going to get arrested, or at the very least, harassed by law enforcement, whether she's a "streetwalker" or not. It would just be assumed that she is. No proof needed. Because that's how Gastonia police are. Even if they were to walk around on airline dressed as nuns, I still think they would get harassed.

I've lived in parts of Indiana Illinois and California as well as Denver, Austin and Houston, and Cincinnati. Have also traveled a fair amount including France, Germany and the Czech Republic. Everyplace has their unique characteristics. I found Honolulu to be an interesting place, expensive SWs but they were dressed to impress. Europe was nice as most of it was at least quasi legal. It's like the police around here quite literally work for the church. Like they might as well have it tattooed on their forehead. A sign I passed by near the Gastonia mall read, elect so-and-so, Conservative Christian Sheriff, as though that were some sort of credential or reason to vote for him. Now contrast this with some other big cities in America, and it's quite different.

In cities like Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, and New York, you often have a 50 to 100 or so women out on the street walking around almost in outfits ranging from skimpy to almost buck naked. When I first saw it, I couldn't believe it. I even witnessed a couple of cops whistling at the streetwalkers passing by as to flirt with them in Dallas. That's just not something you will see in Gastonia. Not to mention, New York is on track to decriminalizing prostitution.
