Repose Spa
Saw their ad in CL and thought I would give it a try. Paid the house fee of. 65. Drew Lena who was actually my first choice. Prettier in person than photo. Nice facility, private rooms, table, chair. Lena did a pretty good job with the backrub but the ST was a bit lacking. Asked me to flip before we got anything going. Did a nice job on my chest and thighs. Then asked me if there's any area I wanted more attention on. Seriously? Menu limited to HJ for. 6 clothed but double if in the buff. I thought "what the hell" maybe the extra would advance into something better. It didn't. HJ was average. I might go back to try someone else. YMMV.

Interesting that LE said the neighbors complained, Smilers is in a very commercial area and most park on the street in front of the place so not sure what they mean by neighborhood issues. Councilman S seems a bit on the high horse being "proud" of LE for busting a single woman at a Spa, I would think he might be a bit more concerned with using the limited resources of Providence PD to work on real crime.
They always brag in the news that they are closing down spas because of concern about trafficking and people being forcved into sex work and that they want to protect women from being emploited but funny none of the spa busts ever seem to result in any of those type of charges. Charging a spa worker seems opposite of what they claim to be doing.
Damn huypocrites.

But doing a hand job is not soliciting and the customer can always say don't touch down there. NO girl touches down there unless the customer gives the go ahead and I've never had them ask for cash up front. Maybe she miss read the signals, but I'm guessing entrapment. Back in the day in NJ, the girl would ask if you wanted to be touched down there. If you said yes she would tell you to take her hand and put it where you wanted her to massage. This was the LEO check. Again no one in a jack shack asks for a tip ahead of the deed. I would suspect that are a few jerks that don't tip afterwards, but that happens everywhere.

Providence hauling massage parlor owner into court; it's other way around in Pawtucke
"In a lawsuit filed at Superior Court last week, the owners of two parlors accuse Pawtucket officials of discrimination against Asians for a so-called "body works" ordinance intended to root out illicit massage parlors. Providence officials used a similar ordinance on Wednesday to close a massage parlor. ".

Some girls will give the pouty face if they think they deserve more. I recently had a girl say 'you tip good' when I was trying to get under her shirt. When I said yes she never asked for a specific amount and took what I gave her.
Any girl that I ever saw at Smilers / NMS was gone the next day if she ever broke the rules like that. To have an undercover get the one girl that breaks the rules on the 1st time seeing a customer would be pretty amazing.

For all we know, it may have been the lady simply asking him to flip and simply starting a HJ without him asking her to do so etc. Or maybe he hinted that he'd been there before and then asked her to do something. Or simply asking her what kind of tip etc. It's pretty simple to entrap or trick someone if you want to.
The cops and the press can do anything they want to and get away with it. Even if they eventually drop all charges or she is found innocent it's already too late. The cops can say that the neighbors complained even if they didn't. No proof is needed for it. Being tried in the "court of public opinion" is bad no matter what happens.
Well said HAH. How did the UC LEO just happen to go with probably the one person there that " Solicited for sex" . Also I've never seen that woman in my times there. What was her working name. You can PM that info if you so desire. Well I guess we will never see Nana or Angie anymore. Nana did have a license for NJ.

-OSk.
Not always. You could be questioned. I remember reading about the MA bust on the cape where they questioned some of the johns and then let them go. Personally I don't want to deal with the hassle so I may be done. Some of the wording in one of the recent articles about the pawtucket spa's makes me worry a little bit that they may be planning something. I think it was the last paragraph in the article where they talked about the authorities using "all available resources" to enforce the new regulations. I checked the old articles from the previous crackdown and they never quoted the authorities saying anything like that. My view is that if they are going to go out and hit the streets of providence during a noreaster to stop a handy it seems like the authorities are getting a little too excited and this time may be different. It wouldn't surprise me one bit if the pawtucket coppers followed suit.

Of course. A little logic goes a long way. I always imagined it was months of watching a place and then they show up with Paddy Wagons. Too much TV. But thanks for that tidbit! I've never done anything but AMPs. Terrified of meeting someone I've never met at a hotel and such.

They can only really arrest people if they catch them in the act of attempting to sell (or buy) sex for money. That means one of the two people in the room needs to be a cop. So if they're busting a worker, there's not going to be a John. If they're busting Johns, there's not going to be a worker. And they do go after Johns, but it's usually in the form of a sting set up at a hotel somewhere.
It sounds like they gathered some of the other workers up for questioning, but it doesn't sound like any of them were arrested or charged.
