[Public Access]

These are the results of the 2006 federal sting throughout northeastern United States that are relevant to the DC area as of February 9, 2008. A total of 31 brothel owners and managers were charged. Of those charged, 13 were from the Washington DC area. Of those arrested, all entered a guilty plea but 6. Of the 6 that entered a not guilty plea, 4 were from DC area. All 31 were found guilty.

14K
Two individuals were charged, but only one was arrested. The individual entered a plea of not guilty and was later found guilty by a jury. Sentence is expected to be as long as 5 years, and stiffer than for those who entered a guilty plea.

Downtown
Of the three individuals charged, two were arrested. One individual was sentenced for 5 months (not a typo) and has already finished her sentence. No reason could be discerned for the short sentence. The second individual will be sentenced next month.

OK Spa
One individual was charged and arrested. She entered a not guilty plea and was later found guilty by a jury. Sentence is expected to be as long as 5 years, and stiffer than for those who entered a guilty plea.

Cleveland Park Holistic Health
Two individuals were charged and arrested. One individual was sentenced to no prison time with the understanding that she would be deported immediately. The other individual entered a not guilty plea and was later found guilty by a jury. Sentence is expected to be as long as 5 years, and stiffer than for those who entered a guilty plea.

Royal Spa
The individual charged was never arrested.

Sun VIP
One individual was charged, and though she entered a not guilty plea, matters concerning this individual are confusing as records do not indicate that she was a defendant in the trial by jury, and the verdict did not directly apply to her. However, a request was made by her attorney that the results of the trial be applied to her. Records show that she agreed to forfeit property in New York to the United States of America after she entered a not guilty plea but before any trial took place. She has yet to be sentenced.

Moonlight
Two individuals were charged and arrested and received sentences of 15 months and 18 months.

Sensual Intentions / Magickkal
One individual was charged and received a shorter sentence of 12 months by agreeing to partake in drug rehabilitation and assisting local police in capturing her husband. Her husband had attempted to avoid parole retake by fleeing to New York after charges were filed against him for identity theft and offenses related to prostitution. Her husband had been serving parole for past convictions including first-degree rape, third-degree rape, and kidnapping.

I had the opportunity to visit Nana at 13 today. I had known her in the distant past at a place called DT. Got way over an hour of TLC as I am of the "Come early; come often" philosophy. I'm a little drunk and bored so I might as well throw out another epiphany I had. If you think about it, a lot of us, myself included, fall into this trap of thinking of these massage parlor workers as poor, innocent girls who just ventured down the wrong road. But I was watching a few Korean movies this past weekend on www.crunchyroll.com (English subtitles) and now my view has changed a little bit.

I don't agree with everything you said. There are more than one million girls in Korea in this line of work and they account for more than 10% of the country's GNP (I have seen up to 20% in some Korean new papers). It is a lousy job, but they make good money. I have been to Korea 30 times and I speak the language (somewhat) so I strike up a conversation with them (in Korea and in the US) and find out what city or part of Korea they come from and ask about their family. Many come from middle class families. I don't try to ask why they do this because it will just spoil the mood. However, when I have tried to do this, many of them say it's the money and some don't want to talk about the topic. I have also seen hobbyists in Korea (during the day, they are accountants, teachers, etc.) that do this for the money (I went out with some of them). They are very nice, educated and polite. I am sure that this is a small minority, because I having a hard time finding them.

The bottom line is that these girls probably have very divers backgrounds some are in it for the money and some because they have to do it. There were also stories in Korean news papers that girls that have large credit card debt pay or are forced to pay by working in some of these parlors.

As for us mongers, I completely agree with your opinion.

Ok, I'm one of those slugs that RTFF and doesn't post. I understand your 'tudes, but the Catholic guilt trip won't work on me. I'm going to hell anyway for much worse offenses, and a number of y'all will be there with me.

Joy. Let me 'splain.

I had climbed up there twice in Jan (not easy for us FOGs) and seen 'Cherry' as mentioned previously here (tall girl, hard, store bought Bs). I might not post again for another 5 years, so I'll give you what small intel I have. Can't help you with AMPs, I'm here for your intel. Street action. (no, I ain't posting it over there. Read it here.) Most depressed neighborhoods around DC have local SWs. NE and SE. I don't really know NW. Around the Trinidad area, there is action day and night, but you need to look like you belong there. If you're an outside the beltway dude, don't do it.

All along WV ave, Montello and Trinidad, Florida on on end, MT Olivet on the other. Most are BSWs but there is a skinny blonde white girl usually working WV.
