You can get HPV through, vaginal, oral, or anal sex. I don't think you can test for HPV unless you have an outbreak. The doctor has to take a sample of the growth and have it confirmed by a lab.

HPV causes genital warts in both men and women; and cervical cancer in women. It is a virus, so no, it cannot be treated by antibiotics. The only way to minimize the risk of acquiring it is to complete the Gardasil vaccination series. They've increased the age limit for eligibility of the vaccine.

Actually I recommend you go to a community health center like Kalihi Palama, Kokua Kalihi valley or Waikiki health center. All of their services are discrete and confidential. I poked my head into the DH Clinic once and I kept on going. Let's just say the people in the waiting room aren't the kind of people you would normally hang win (trying not to get moderated here by writing something unkind).

Facilities like Waikiki HC are clean, normal medical centers, with trained health professionals that are accustomed to doing things like STD testing. Plus if you test positive for something nasty, DH clinic will refer you to one of these health centers for treatment. This way you eliminate the middle man and save time. Call, make an appointment, and your in and out quickly (cost is minimal because these clinics are federally funded).

Brand IMHO is virtually not even relevant. L-Arginine is L-Arginine. But in general my attitude these days with any supplements is to buy bulk powder and either just spoon in into my mouth and wash down with water, or else cap it myself. It's a lot cheaper buying supplements this way. But also if you get tablets, a lot of times those never even dissolve in the stomach properly and you just shit them out. Also, especially in the case of tablets the manufacturer adds a bunch of extra crap to make the tablet hold together, so you are getting stuff you body doesn't even want or need. This is less true with capsules but still they toss various useless garbage into the caps too in addition to the stuff you actually want. If you cap it yourself you know exactly what you are getting. I mean, some supplements you practically need to cap them because they taste so awful. Personally I discovered I could wash arginine powder down with no problems, so I didn't even bother capping it. There are arginine-based formulas on the market, sold to guys to get hard, but really, you don't need to pay the extra for those formulas, just take the L-Arginine since it's the real workhorse in the deal.

One thing I want to add to this. There were times when L-arginine seemed to do miraculous things for me in terms of giving me extended erection time. But other times this amino did absolutely nothing for me. I still have zero idea why it worked sometimes and other times did not. And when it didn't work I'd be doubly depressed since I'd been expecting the arginine to support the session, and I'd later feel like the rug had been pulled out from under me, leaving me depressed. Many forms of "Wellness" have no evidence basis despite claims. Is that wrong? Yes, I do agree with your statement. If you're sexually active and you do not take Prep or TRUVADA every day then you could increase your risk by not taking it. These medications (pre exposure prophylaxis) aren't without side effects. Additionally, there are compliance issues (inadvertently missing doses or not adhering to the strict regimen) that reduces their therapeutic efficacy. And may even increase your risk of acquiring HIV / AIDS. I'd recommend against it.
