You've got a point about college tuition. A friend of mine just sent her son off to college this past weekend; others will be going back over the next few weeks. And tuition bills will be due and payable at that time.

The rain isn't helping matters and it's vacation season, but there are other factors as well. Even experienced mongers are having trouble navigating their way around the new realities of the hobby scene courtesy of the FOSTA legislation, the Backpage seizure and shutdown, and the response by other websites. A lot of the ads I've seen are questionable or bogus; other sites are recycling old ads from providers who may, or may not, still be in business. Some providers aren't helping matters with their tactics; I just posted in the Montgomery County forum about an advertiser who demanded I send a photo after I responded to a text message they sent me. Sorry, but I'm not providing personal information to any provider lest it fall into the hands of Uncle LEO.

Weather personally makes no difference for me. I'm not huge on BBFS with providers either, usually prefer Seeking Arrangement girls for that.
