You can reserve the hotel and usually cancel up to 6:00 pm so if you make a plan to meet before that time just wait in the parking lot until she arrives. The App is the best option but if you're not a frequent user there are ways around checking in before the prize arrives. The first time is always the riskiest because she may bail because of cold feet. After you do the deed she may be more reliable if all goes well then you could take a chance of checking in early after a few repeat visits assuming that's what you're after.
