How's this? I had a tenant attack me with a thing like an ice pick. He stabbed me a couple of times, nothing critical. Called the cops, and they came (late) and arrested the guy. I had to go talk to the Assistant D. A. They're going to charge him with aggravated assault. Shit, it felt like attempted murder to me. I was just lucky. But to reassure me, the D. A. Said "It's going to be a felony because you're over 62!" So the charge reads "Aggravated Assault on the Elderly."

Okay, so I'm over 62, but ELDERLY? Fuck, I mean I'll take upping the charge for him along with all the free shit you've listed, but ELDERLY?

It's bad enough being a senior. I'll tell these fuckers when I'm elderly or not. When I've sat in my own shit for days because I couldn't change my own Depends, then I'll be elderly. What a surprise! I saw her for many years starting when she lived on Highland just west of 27th in one of the huge people boxes there. Theresa and her 4 or 5 kids stayed with her grandfather. 2 years ago I had a very, very near miss. I had seen a BP girl with an incall in the loop once, everything went fine, so a week or two later I went back again. This time instead of meeting me on the sidewalk and taking he in she said "You know the way, meet me at the side door. " I ignored my tingling spider sense and went to the side door. No girl. Spent 2-3 minutes texting / calling with no response. Turned to leave and 2 friendly Officers were waiting for me. Looked to the back of the house and 2 more were approaching from that direction.

They were actually kind of cool, took me out to the front sidewalk. They took down all my info from my I'd and spent about 30 minutes questioning me, trying to get me to admit I was there for sex. Luckily I have a job that gave me a semi-plausible reason for being there. They knew I was lying, but couldn't prove any different as long as I stuck to my story.

After about 30 minutes they relaxed and flat out told me the house had been designated a nuisance house because the neighbors had called the Police so many times about traffic levels, drug dealing and prostitution and they were watching it closely. After a strong lecture about the dangers and a warning they kicked me loose. About the scariest 45 minutes of my life, thought for sure I was doing the perp walk. I gave up EVERYTHING for 6 months after that including a fairly active senior account I had here. Slowly, I wandered back into it, but pretty much stick to well known SW's. With the exception of Hannah, who I've known for years, I never go to a providers incall ANYWHERE, loop or not, even a hotel because there's no way of knowing what their traffic level is and if the neighbors have grown tired of it and called the cops enough they are watching it. Even with Hannah I still make her meet me on the sidewalk and check the area as thoroughly as possible for LEO before I text her to let her know I'm there.

Just my. 02 cents. That and another. 98 cents will get you coffee at McDonalds. Maybe I'm overly paranoid but I never want to go through that again or end up doing the perp walk.
