That is super interesting Edgewater94 and, on the face of it, a plausible observation on her part. I have two additional data points to add to the conversation.

I was recently ensconced in a plush lounge chair in my date's room, chatting amicably with her friend (another provider whom I know "intimately") while the lass herself prepared at glacial speed. I didn't mind so much, since I had time to burn and I was enjoying the conversation. The topic came 'round to face pics and I naturally scoffed, professing my distain for the practice and my refusal to provide them. Then I realized that the lass I was talking to often required face pics herself, so I immediately asked her why. "Honestly, I want to know how attractive they are" was her unabashed response. I was floored. Finally a provider who admitted to discriminating based on looks.

Around a month later I was chatting with a different provider about the intricacies of our fine hobby when the same subject came up. She doesn't require face pics but I asked her why she thinks some lasses do. "They probably want to make sure it's not someone they've ripped off before. Mongers hit you up from multiple texting apps so you never know who's who."

Anyway, after years in the hobby and countless confidences by providers, I've concluded that different providers demand face pics for different primary motives, though I suspect they quickly realize the other benefits mentioned on these boards. However, if any providers are reading this, I would encourage you to read Ad Commentary post #50, where I explain exactly why you should never ask for a face pic.

Plus, there are other things that UCs will never do that don't involve face pics. Oh, speaking of, I was recently told that a UC playing monger will never ask for a pussy pic, and that a UC playing provider will never send one. I hope this is true, since it slays two dragons in a single stroke, and I believe in a world where pussy pics are the norm, LOL. Maybe a member with a legal background can verify of refute this claim. Please PM me if not for public consumption.

My guess: Most want to know what you look like and how well put together you are. They often have choices and they need to decide who to invite on up and who to ghost in the parking lot. Some want to know that you're a real person and not a scammer or that weird kid catching thrills playing monger from behind a smartphone. A few are scammers who want to do a reverse-image search on you for blackmail.

My advice is, find a picture of someone who is a passable facsimile and have it ready for these instances. If they demand hand gestures or similar evidence, call them and reason with them. Often the call will be verification enough and it gives you the chance to sound well put together (educated, respectful, carefree, charming, etc). The call will also help you weed out the scammers. In fact, assuming it's your first visit to the lass (else why is she asking for a pic), and you're not sure if she's real (because she's unreviewed or you're too careless to research her here or on other platforms), I recommend calling her whether she asks for a pic or not.

If the facsimile pic and the call don't work, you can offer non-face pics. Before you send any real non-face pic, examine it carefully. You need to be certain there is nothing identifiable in view. Ask yourself, if my wife, mother, siblings, coworkers, etc., were handed this pic, would they suspect it was me? Don't forget to scrutinize the background because guess what, your wife couldn't pick your dick out of a lineup with any confidence but she sure as hell knows exactly what the soap dish looks like. It needn't be a scammer that abuses your face pic either. If a truly vindictive provider feels wronged by you, your pics and cell number will probably show up on STG asking to be sodomized by a construction crew.

So you've tried all those things and still have been denied at every turn. Your final recourse is to walk away. I promise that she is ready to ghost you for a thousand minor infractions. You need to be ready to do the same if she insists on putting you in a compromising position. It just isn't worth it. Time to move on.

I should probably mention here that, in my experience, moving on is likely not the end of the story. Many a lass will militantly screen you in good times when the money is flowing fast and easy. When times get tougher and she's about to lose that room, your offer to phone screen is going to sound very appealing.

Yes, they are very nice. Yes, they do the whole alphabet.

But. They feel nothing. You do your thing, but they are totally unsensitized to whatever you are doing. Mileage? Other reasons?

For me is a total turn off.

But they are reliable.

Dare I say that in this hobby the single most common denominator that we as mongers will have is that YMMV. I doubt I will return to visit Marissa but not because of some negative review of her but more so because of the lack of a proper incall environment to enjoy / explore her full potential. IMHOP if the Lass (Falken term that I stole) was really interested in making the kind of donations that not only pay the bills but also boosts the savings account then she should get a room at a average hotel for a couple of days during the week and offer a uninhabited environment to perform the kind of service that brings someone like myself back for more.

Saw Marissa a few weeks back. Other than the chattiness, Grandma and the mehh experience, didn't notice anything out of line. She could also use a few more pounds on her bones LOL. I've come across a lot worse. Personally would not repeat but I can see others enjoying the experience. My 2 cents.
