Got this from one of my old pharmacy's today. BHRT is good stuff if you can afford it. I was paying like 4 bills then it went to 8 then it went to like 2k a month. Pro athletes are spending like 5k+ a month now. I was smuggling them up from TJ for a bit but got cut off. Stuff seems to work, was on them for like 5 years. Down side is it boosts your PSA and your doc may get concerned (mine did).

In brief, FDA is trying to restrict or even eliminate your access to compounded BHRT from the pharmacy of your choice. And as outrageous as it sounds, FDA is also funding an "independent" study to determine whether the federal government, and not your medical provider, can decide whether you even have the option of using compounded BHRT.

First, FDA is using an obscure provision of federal law to try to keep compounding pharmacies from filling prescriptions across state lines. This threat, as currently drafted, would require each state to agree to an onerous Memorandum of Understanding, or MOU, that most states have indicated they will not sign in its current form. If states don't sign, your options for getting your medications would severely diminish.

Second, FDA has quietly contracted with an "ad hoc" committee of the National Academy of Sciences, Engineering and Medicine (NASEM) to determine whether compounded bio-identical hormones should even be an option that your medical provider can prescribe. And who is absent from this "ad hoc" committee? The very doctors and medical providers who know the value of compounded BHRT.

In the past, FDA has been openly hostile to compounded bio-identical hormones and the ability of medical providers to prescribe them. They have stated in official publications that "BHRT is a marketing term not recognized by the FDA. " To protect the big drug companies, in the past they even tried to outlaw the female hormone estriol, an important component of most compounded hormone therapy, and with your help we stopped them. But they are at it again, and we must act again.

Should I list in my SA profile that I have had a successful vasectomy once the results are confirmed? Will my potential SBs appreciate this fact?
