Notice to TER Members in the USA.

(Please note that users outside of the USA Will still have full access to the site.).

The USA Congress has passed the Stop Enabling Sex-Trafficking Act (SESTA, also known as The Allow States and Victims to Fight Online Sex Trafficking Act or FOSTA). SESTA amends Section 230 of the 1996 Communications Decency Act, a federal law which has served as the bedrock of protection for online publishers from Facebook, Yelp, Reddit and Twitter to The Erotic Review from being held liable for user's posts on their sites. Under SESTA / FOSTA, the USA Government can prosecute websites and those that operate them criminally for posts made by users.

As a result of this new law, TER has made the difficult decision to block access to the website from the United States until such time as the courts have enjoined enforcement of the law, the law has been repealed or amended, or TER has found a way to sufficiently address any legal concerns created by the new law. TER is not alone in responding to this threat to your First Amendment Rights: Craigslist has pulled all of its Personal Ads, Reddit has closed a number of Subreddits and sites such as * and Men4 RentNow have gone completely dark. Other websites have taken or are expected to take similar actions.

TER will suspend recurring billing for all USA Monthly subscribers as well as provide a credit to all other USA Subscribers equal to the period TER remains blocked to USA Users.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience, but do not believe that TER has any other choice as long as the law remains in effect. We hope to see you soon! If you have any questions please contact support@theeroticreview.com and we will do our best to answer them.

    Well that was fast!

You have to be a fool to think with all the attention on FB that this wasn't going to happen. I am surprised it was this quick!

The virus is found in vaginal fluid, however it is normally passed through contact with blood. I always cover up for FS, but I love DATY. Everywhere I look it is repeated that there have been zero documented cases of a man contracting HIV from DATY. I also found that to contract HIV from a BBBJ the woman would need to have blood in her mouth and that would need to find its way into the mans bloodstream though an open soar or the urethra. If a girl has bad teeth, I cover up for everything. That article does seem to be aimed toward the more puritanical folks out there. Everything we do for fun carries some risk. Best advice, use common sense and stay safe.
See report #7952 by Ceenote about Susan. I have medical training, and can tell you that it would be a very good idea to be careful; the article also mentioned high incidence of Hepatitis C in the same patients as well. HIV commonly coinfects with syphilis, which is very hard to cure for HIV+ individuals. Meaning, they are often carriers of both. There are a lot of girls in this hobby that have had that disease (look around, you can find pics of girls with the ulcers and I have met three that had open lesions). It's your thing, so it's your call; I just posted the article because I thought people would want to know.

So I'm in the medical profession. Do you floss and brush your teeth before seeing your date. If your not a frequently flossor and you do floss prior to your visit or if she does. You have a open medium for the virus to pass through especially if you notice some blood when you spit. Remember safe sex and covers prevents std's and hiv. Just some dental hygiene for your thoughts. Be safe. FW.

    HIV Transmission

I know several HIV+ people and they got the disease from sharing needles. I would like to see a real study by NIH reaffirming the odds of heterosexual transmission from a woman to a man from unprotected sex, assuming that there are not any open sores / tears and for oral and vaginal sex only.

In the early days of AIDS, a study in San Francisco showed that transmission of HIV was very low, almost non-existent, for people who only did oral. Also, transmission from "normal" sex is more risky for the woman, since she is the receiver of bodily fluids, something not common for a straight man.

I feel that sometimes when an article announces rising HIV infection, the author has skewed the message for the benefit of the conservative right, who believe all sex is bad.
