Just left. 20 $ entry and one drink minimum. Bought an 11 $ bottle of water. Basically all good looking girls and most with larger boobs and decent ass, also mostly foreign. Got 4 lap dances and tried to inquire about OTC, but none of them seemed interested in anything beyond the VIP STARTING AT 700 $, NOT happening for me, I know it wouldn't be worth it. A little late, but I checked out Die Happy Tonight last Thursday. The club was fantastic, very upscale and classy. I had an invitation so they didn't charge me for entry. All of the girls were extremely beautiful, but what I appreciated even more so was how personable they were. I was able to hold good conversation with all of the girls before dancing with them, creating a genuine connection with everyone. One thing that really frustrated me was that some of the girls were ripping me off. They charged me for more songs than what was played during lap dances. For example, I counted 3 songs with one girl and she charged me for 5, and another girl charged me for 4 instead of 3. Other girls were better about it, but some were definitely overcharging me. If you go, be prepared to have a great time, but be aware you might drop a lot of money and be on the lookout for girls overcharging.

I was recently in NYC and tried to make the most of it. I was staying near Times Square, so on my day off I walked to a couple of the local establishments. I'm not a local, but I understand the scene is largely cleaned up from the old days. It's nice to see a little grit still remaining though. I'm referring to the adult businesses close together on 8th street. Satin Doll and a few adult stores with live girls / peep shows.

First I tried the adult stores. This was at around noon on a Saturday. There's two of them there, The Playpen and Show World Center. One has the peepshows upstairs, the other in a downstairs area. I don't remember which, but the place with the downstairs area didn't have girls in yet. So I tried the one with the upstairs area. This place looked old as shit. However, I curiously checked up upstairs and saw two girls in lingerie sitting outside the booths. One was an okay looking white girl, the other a hot latina.

Good experiences at Flashdancers (1674 Broadway), I've started frequenting it on a regular basis. It's a good strip club with good lap dances.

Frankly it's better than all these underground / private parties happening around NYC. For a single $20 lap dance most girls will allow playing with boobs, although not all, so there's no need to pay $60/ dance + $40 cover and be in an arrogant social scene with young posers. 50%-70% of girls allow excellent touching, but unfortunately some will refuse. What I really like is you can cut your losses early and just leave after a single dance if you don't "click". $20 will be wasted but it's better than being locked into a long $60 dance for 3 songs where you can't bail out, which I've had happen at the more expensive private parties. The right strategy is to find the right girls who allow the most contact and invest in multiple dances with them, like 3-4, which would be money well spent ($60-80) despite some occasional "bad apples" where you would lose a $20, but that's not a big loss.

I also like that Flashdancers is open in the daytime (even at 2 pm!) so no need for tiresome and stressful late nights in Manhattan. Staff is cordial and polite, the clientele is also good.

I'm a bit puzzled by some of the commentary I've read portraying NYC's regular strip clubs as lame and low-mileage. Honestly I feel like NYC is even more liberal than Vegas, although it's not quite Canada.
