Even though I'm the one who said it to start with, I do think it's possible to be a bit too cynical.

The sum of it all is in my and most guys older than 25 or 30s world Time=Money. So even if you are spending money going to bars or other places to try and get laid for "free" you have time and money invested in them. Well put! The only reason that prostitution remains illegal in most of the USA is that most women are afraid of the competition.

Hell if it were legal half of the wives and live in girlfriends would be out of theire current home standing on the curb with a duffle bag wondering were thier next meal was coming from.
