Sorry for reviving old post, but wanted to share my conquest on this topic! It was nearly 25 years ago when I was 24 ish year old fit man, don't think could pull it off nowadays. The airport was in her town so left and dropped rental car at airport around 9:00 pm and I flew home (hour and half flight) where my girlfriend at college picked me up.
