But serious advice that I have learned from the seniors here. Do not use your personal cell for mongering activities. At the minimal get a fake Google #.

Or better get a used unlocked cell off of Craigslist or Ebay. Take your new cell into a mom and pop cell shop and buy the cheapest month by month text and data plan they have.

You will have to stop by a shop to make cash payments to renew your plan each month but that cell will never be connected to you.

If the cell shop asks for ID or says they can only take credit card or debit payments leave.

There are plenty of cell shops that cater to the hard working undocumented illegals here in Southern California.

Until hobbying becomes legal it is best to be anonymous and untraceable.

Next thing I know I am getting extortion messages from some guy, claiming that I was wasting his girls time on adult search. He acquired lot of my personal information (not financial, but location, name, family, etc.). Granted its not that difficult to get lot of personal info from the phone number, but this guy is threatening to contact family members until I pay some fine to waste his girls time.

Anyone have this issue before? How dangerous and complicated can this get? Anyone tried to get law enforcement involved at this point?

It has been a nationwide scam for Chinese tourists and new Chinese immigrants. Because they just need to have a list of 7/11. Maybe now they don't have that many tourists from there.

I got hit by a scammer using this exact same M. O. On Whisper. I almost think it was some kids who read about it and were trying their hand at catfishing, because they were only asking for a $50 X-Box card! The "person" tried to send me to some nearby house address, saying they needed to lock the kids in their bedroom with the X-box credits loaded in to keep them busy while we had sexy time, but they kids could not see me come in, so I needed to send a picture of the code before I could come in, so the kids would be too busy to bother us.

I said I would only hand the card to her if she would come out and get it. She said the kids would get suspicious, so I needed to send a picture of the code first. I said nope to that, just tell them you are getting something you left in the car that is parked in the driveway, then come across the street and I would hand them the card. Needless to say, they were stumped to give me a reason that this would not work, if this were a real scenario. I just wanted to see an actual person walk out of that house before I drove off. They even went so far as to find some MILF porn pics to send me over Whisper, using a plausibly hot but not too hot person (of course the pics were perfectly lit and were being taken by someone else, not selfies) to try to tempt me. They kept trying to get me to send them a pic of the numbers on the back of the card I had "bought. ".

I gave them 15 minutes before I drove off laughing. Definitely a TGTBT situation which I was interested in seeing how far would go. I honestly would have shit myself if some innocent hot housewife had walked out of that house to her car in that moment, LOL!

That's a well know scam. They'll ask you to take a photo of the back of the gift card with the numbers exposed. At that point they have access to the value of the card and you'll never hear from her again.

I use to sit at home and play their game, it's a ton of fun to piss them off. Another reason to use a prepay phone / google voice.

I received a friend request on the Line app by a girl using the people near by feature. Chinese girl profile image. Why not, wouldn't hurt. She starts to chat with me for a few hours. Said she was here on tourist visa from China. Asked if she was from Wuhan, where the corona virus was. Nope!

Then she said she offers massage & sex services at the hotel she is staying at in Anaheim. 2. for 2 hours. That was too good to be true, so I just ignored it. Next day she reached out and asked if I was available for her services. I felt lonely and horny. Sure why not. Confirmed with her the rate. She gave me the address of the hotel. But told me to meet at the 7-eleven next door. She would then walk me back to the room. Odd. Didn't think I could park at 7-eleven for 2 hours.

When I arrived, she asked for my number. Why would she need that if we were already chatting using the Line app. So I gave her my google voice number instead. Then she asked me to take a picture of the 7-eleven to ensure I was already there. Snap and picture sent. She then tells me that she was afraid of customers not paying and was afraid of law enforcement. She told me to go into 7-eleven and buy a $200 google play gift card. Told her I don't want to do that. She was adamant that she didn't want cash, only the gift card. I told her to take the cash, go into 7 eleven and buy it herself. She said all customer must do the transaction with gift card the first time. 2nd time, cash would be accepted.

Spidey senses started to tingle. Smelled a scam. Told her forget it and left the parking lot. Went home and did some research. Appears that this happens a lot in the Asian countries.

Be careful out there.

My guess is that he paid her $50 up front fee and she didn't show or something. I refuse to pay the up front fee. I did this once and was quickly reminded that this is a risky business and whatever you do up front you have to be prepared to lose.

I tried it gave all the info they requested then never heard another word from them when it came time to make an appointment. It was an hx site with islands in the email. They are still on hx with different names. I wouldn't do it again.

Are you single or do you have a significant other? I personally wouldn't be comfortable giving that info out to anyone either way. There's enough fun to be had without doing that. Are you contacting aamps? Independent escorts? Who are you trying to see that is doing this?
