Obese / already sick old people are dying quickly of Covid and sparing their families the financial ruin and emotional devastation of the well designed path from assisted living to skilled care to intensive care to arrive at hospice penniless or in debt. Covid sounds like a cheaper and faster way to get where they're going anyway with a shorter duration of suffering. Hearing you blame the President is funny like watching a monkey throw excrement at a cloud.

A police chief in Arkansas resigned after he made threatening posts targeting Democrats on social media platform Parler, the Kansas City Star reports.
Lang Holland drew the ire of the community after posts from a Parler profile bearing his name and likeness claimed the presidential election had been stolen, and repeatedly called for violence against Democrats.

The CDC has jacked up flu vaccines for years because using a live virus is trying to project how and where lightning will strike, or where all farts since the inception of time have gone. The science is far from perfect. Putting a man on the moon is much easier than figuring out the complexities of the human body.

I'm pretty sure toy don't understand the concept of exponential growth. No vaccine will stop Covid 19 dead in its tracks, but if it is even close to the 90% effectiveness that has been suggested, it can and will slow the exposure to to the disease, and the transmission of it, to a level where it really does become the common flu. Will people still get it? Sure, just like they get the flu, but it will enable society to reopen and allow individuals to take the precautions that feel are in their best interest.

The anti-mask crowd will, of course, refuse to be vaccinated and will continue to spread the disease, so it never completely go away, but the rest of society can reduce its effects to a point where we can all get back to our daily lives.
