Best way is to use a VPN service. I use mine when accessing any site concerned with adult entertainment. The one I use connects automatically to their closest server, but you can specify where you want to connect, like through Toronto, and that will work with TER.

A friend of mine has been using spoof software for a decade. The new legislation can be used to block offhsore sites to US IP addresses. Can't be done if you are using an offshore IP address. A few years ago I predicted that the human trafficking issue would eventually be used to shut down provider websites. Surprised it took this long. I agree that sex trafficking against the will of the person involved should be stopped but clearly they have gone way beyond this. I went to install TOR on my computer, and a window popped up that said my PC settings would only allow me to install apps from the app store. I have a HP Compaq Presario CQ62 with windows 10. Does anyone know what I need to change to install TOR?

This is the most common method in windows 10.

Go to Settings Apps & features, then in the right pane under Installing Apps click to open the dropdown menu and select Allow apps from anywhere.

If you have the right version. Some versions of W10 won't allow external apps. It's gotten really dumb.

As most know, backpage has been under fire for sometime. The best way to find alternatives is to go to TER (theeroticreview.com) and search in Dayton. The site requires membership for X-rated info, but not for R-rated. One of the items among the R-rated info is 'ad websites'. TER won't mention sites like USASEXGUIDE that give reviews, but that still leaves several sites that don't.

E-monkey is also back in operation today. Backpage was the site that replaced Craigslist once CL began making it more difficult for providers to advertise there. I predicted that Postix would ultimately succeed BP, but it appears that they have no intentions of fighting the kind of battle that BP valiantly did. They have voluntarily closed all their adult personal ad categories.

Edit: I just read a news article which claimed that most BP ads contained the phrase "Amber alert" in them, which they are claiming is hobbyist code for an underage provider. In all my years of viewing BP in several cities, not once have I ever seen an ad that contained that phrase.

TER has removed all US reviews and Eroticmonkey is down.

The reviews are all still there on TER. Just use a VPN like ProtonVPN and pick any country not in the US as the server. TER becomes accessible again.

Apparently the Fri 6 pm press release or update mentioned by the Justice Department in its Backpage seizure banner never materialized. Reuters reports that the Justice Department said late on Friday that a court in Arizona ruled the case remains sealed, which puts any legal information under wraps.

Although BP had become pretty useless of late, I was curious to see more details.
