I've never been to Trapeze but I've been to Loft. My impression of Loft was not slacks and blazer. It came across very much on the casual side. I was only there in the afternoons. I've not been to a night party but the atmosphere didn't strike me as date night. I think khakis and polo or even a nice pair of jeans would suffice. Just my opinion. I can't speak on Trapeze but the impression I've gotten from others who have been is that they are somewhat more upscale than Loft.

Honestly, it doesn't matter a lot. You will see just about everything there. I would recommend "business casual". Khaki pants and a golf shirt or similar.

A few tips:

1. Wear shoes that are easy to slip in and out of. You don't want your shoes in the way if you get to play and need to undress.

2. Wear a pull over shirt, or something you don't have to tuck in. You don't want to have to fumble with that if you are dressing or undressing.

3. Don't carry excess cash. If you are playing, your pants are going to be thrown on the floor, with spectators and participants around. I've never heard of anything being stolen, but I would suggest being careful all the same.
